This book might paint me as a villain, a toxic man, a heartless one at that but this is my truth. A lot had happened before page one, a heartbreak, grief, disappointments and bad decisions, a past that I wish to bury for forever. Everywhere I go, everything I do and every single day of my life, I'm haunted by the ghosts of my first love, I've tried to outgrow that part of me but it's led me to the darkest paths of the world. Nice to meet you, my name is Theodore, but you can call me Teddy. I'm from around the way, I've been around the block and done some wild shit in the past, but I'm not trying to flood your mind with expectations, so we can keep it in the middle and just be friends.


Every time that I've met a girl, it was more about what I'm getting out of it, been with girls that were already taken and girls that just wanted to have a fun but there was never a point of my playboy era where love was introduced to my heart. I don't wanna throw you off with expectations, demands and false promises, so we can just keep it safe and just be friends.

It takes me a lot of time for me to open up, she can blame it on solitude and the comfortability in not being responsible of anybody's feelings but sometimes I get tired of being alone, so I'm opening up again to new beginnings.


Getting to know a new person, getting used to her and unwinding, I just hope that when I finally open up, it'll be for the right person, at the right place and at the right time. 


I love how she keeps her hair taken care of, I love how stands out from everybody else by the way she carries herself and how she keeps herself in good morals. There's this one moment where I was looking at her while she was reading my stuff but she had no idea that I was looking.
