Kaelen kept clenching and opening his hand to gauge his strength. He started talking to his alters.
"I don't feel that much of a difference, to be completely honest."
"Big bro Kaelen, can I use my stat points, pretty please?" spoke a sweet, childish voice that would melt the heart of any normal human being, despite not being in the criteria of normal. Kaelen's heart melted.
"Yeah, you can, Casey," Kaelen answered lovingly, as Casey was the only alter loved by everyone; he reminded him of his late younger brother, maybe that's why he liked him so much.

"Casey, why did you invest them all in mana? We don't know much about it."
"I said so many times I want to be a mage, big bro Agnos, you know that, don't you?"
"Fine." Muttered a flustered Agnos, she knew he could not win an argument against him.
Before another word was uttered, they were cut off by the rumbling of their own stomach. A tired Kaelen sighs.
"We could really use some food right now."
"According to what I have seen, there are other living beings besides the goblins in the area, so we can go hunting. The reasoning behind why I think that there are other creatures besides the goblins is rather interesting, so basically-" Agnos was cut off before he could utter another word"
"Ok fine, blah blah, I trust you, let's go." Said a hungry and angry Varkas

Nyx was forced to invest his stat points in endurance and agility, and then told to find a river so the others could hunt fish for food. The river itself was massive, and the smell of wet mud and something pungent was surprisingly pleasing. Kaelen removed his shoes and dropped them into the mud, the cold on his feet making the pain from running all the way here disappear.
"God, that feels awesome." Kaelen exhaled.
"First secure food, then you can rest however long you want." It was Lucian commanding him again
"Yeah, so." He bent to look into the fast-flowing water. "So how do I find the fish?"
"Try using that detect skill or whatever."
"Damn for the first time in your life you are actually making sense Varkas."
"Fuck you Kaelen."
Now, a new question arose in Kaelen's mind: "How does one use a skill?" That question was answered by the skill activating as soon as he thought about activating it.
Blue light emitted in rings around his legs as they expanded and he could sense a presence in the water something alive throbbing it felt strangely warm. He reached into his inventory and pulled the rapier stashed in his inventory.
"All I have to do is stab that area and we get food right?"
"If you can do it." Varkas mocked
"Oh yeah watch this." Kaelen proceeds to stab into the water three times and feels the needle like tip bite into something soft being stabbed and pulls it out of the water on the rapier is a singular fish still flopping and blood gushing from the newly created hole.
[Experience gained for killing a Brown Trout: +10]
As the blue screen flashed in front of his eyes, he snickers, and Varkas somehow calms himself down.

Agnos starts a fire, and they begin eating the now-grilled fish. He thinks to himself while Kaelen and others argue over whether they should season the fish with sweat, since it has salt. Agnos suddenly started speaking up
"Hey when we hunted the goblins they didn't give us any experience until the quest was completed when we killed the Trout it gave experience even though it wasn't a quest completion reward hence if we maybe hunt old creatures that aren't listed in the quest we can gain extra experience and then it brings me to my-" Kaelen cuts him off
"Now that you say it why hasn't the new quest appeared yet?"
"I don't know the answer to that maybe-" Agnos is cut off again by the blue screen shining in front of his eyes it reads
[Tutorial Quest:Stronger]
[Requirements: The player must kill 3 combat goblins]
[Time limit: 3 hours]
[Reward: medium amount of experience and a piece of armour]
[Failure: Upon failure of the tutorial quest the player will be removed]
Even though Varkas was not the one controlling their body, everyone could feel him getting excited.
Lucian switches in with Agnos as he gets with a grunt and stretches his back and cracking his knuckles as he gets ready for the new quest.
