"Man, I'm feeling like I'm some big shot, like I'm about to take interviews and I can reject all of interviewers and no one can do anything about it." Raine said.

Sunny didn't argue. He didn't have the energy to waste on this man.

Sunny and Raine were currently sitting in a luxurious looking meeting room.
Everything was set by Seisan and her people.
The plan was simple.
It was like an interview. ..With different stages.
There were others rooms set just like this one.
This room was main interview room.
Where real deal was going to happen.
Before this, people would go through an explanation room.
And a clothing room, where they would be given regular clothes so they don't end up naked after giving up all of there memories.
And lastly, there was interrogation room.
After giving up memories, people would be asked if they had anything left or not.
Kai and some others people were given that task.
Everything was set.
It would only take about one or two day if things go smoothly.

"Welcome, welcome, ...come on in... don't be afraid around us, ... don't worry about him, he just looks mean, but he's a good guy deep down, ...he just likes to kill people for fun sometimes.. but you don't have to be afraid." Raine said to the first person who entered.
"Hey, I only killed few guys, and I only did that because they pissed me off. I'm not a psychopath who kills for fun. ...I only do that with nightmare creatures." Sunny defended himself.
"..." The newcomer didn't move further.
"Hey, why did you stop... we should hurry up, you know, ...there are about thousand people we have to go through. So hurry up." Raine said in friendly tone.
"..." The newcomer didn't move.
"HURRY UP!"
After receiving a murdering look from Sunny, he moved towards Raine and streched his arm forward.
".....Will.. will this really save us?" He asked in a shaky voice.
"It will save you after you give your memories to us. ... Come on, over here. I'll be the one to receive memories. you have to give them to me." Sunny said.
"..." The man moved towards Sunny with slow steps.
"...Here." He extended his arm.
Sunny thouched his hand, and after a moment the spell announced that he received some memories.
"....."
"You can leave now, did you transferred all of them, do you have any echo?" Sunny asked.
"No, I don't have anything else. ... nothing. I have nothing left." The man looked sad.
"Hey, come on, you still have your life, don't you?" Raine said with a smile.
He quickly left after that.

"Sigh..... If we go through all this everytime, then it will take days to complete this." Sunny said.
"Well, it's a necessary process. We have to be patient. ... patient is the necessary to make progress." Raine said.
"I don't think it's necessary to scare them, or chat with them, ...they know the situation already. So don't start greetings them as soon as they enter, ok? ....we have to act like professionals." Sunny said.
"As you say..." Raine agreed.

The next guy entered.
He saw two mans sitting seriously.
A blade was floating in the air.
The man with black dress looks like he will kill whoever came near.

"Why are you standing there, come inside."
"YES SIR!." The man suppressed his fear and entered. His heart pounding.
"Ok, hand over everything." The scary man said.
"YES SIR!, HERE SIR!" He quickly gave everything he had and left.
"See that, that didn't even took trirty seconds." Sunny said proudly.
"And that guy will never give a interview in his life again." Raine said.

The process continued.
Sunny was given the memories.
He was scanning for memories which had good enchantments.
With about a thousand people in forgotten shore, the quantity of memories wasn't going to be a problem.
It would take about three hundred awakened tire memories for Prisma to ascend.
And another thousand or so, to become transcendant.
If they were given ascended memories, then it would have taken only five hundred, just as before.
But people only had awakened memories at best. Some didn't even had any.
The main portion came from people who lived in castle.
They had three or four memories each.
Soldiers were left for the last, they were tasked to arrange food for everyone so they needed those memories to hunt.
But at the end of the day, everyone was left with nothing.
Only some important people had any left.
The leaders of every faction still had memories.
They wouldn't look good if they walk around in cheap clothes like everyone else.
Only Seisan, Tessai, Gemma, Kido, and Nephis were left.
Strangely Aiko was also spared because of some shady deal she made with Seisan.
But at the end, Sunny and Raine had enough memories to start a legacy clan.

"So what's the count now?" Sunny asked.
"478, still needs about fifty or so..."
"Man, these are all good ones, so how about we use one of these scavenger echos?" Sunny asked.
"Sure, who needs them anyway, you know what, after she becomes transcendant, you can use anything to upgrade the Saint too... I don't think these awakened memories will do anything else for a transcendant anyway..." Raine said.
".....ok, but there's nothing useless left anyway. ... only some good charms and some utility memories ....and four echos." Sunny said.
"Well, let's get this done first, shell we? I want to know what kind of abilities she'll unlock after becoming transcendant." Raine said looking at Prisma.
"You said nothing changed after she became ascended, right? Why don't you let me see her runes?" Sunny asked.
"No, .. Never!... I promised her I'll never let her go again.. even if it's just for some check up. ...she said she didn't gain any new power and I believe her. ... there's no need to check anything." Raine said, holding the blade close tightly.
"Well, ...suit yourself ...Here.." Sunny transferred an Echo to him.
Raine summoned it.
It wouldn't work if Sunny summon the Echo. That will just destroy it.
Prisma could only consume swords like that.
That was her domain, so consuming swords was different then consuming normal memories or echos.
A scavenger appeared from sparks.
"Go get him, Prisma." Raine said with excitement.
This was the moment.
Prisma moved..... and in one strike, the scavenger disappeared in sparks.
The sparks entered the blade.

It wasn't that Prisma didn't gain anything from becoming ascended.
She was more lethal, fast, and she had more essence.
Essence to finally control some swords.
She couldn't do that before, because her essence capicity didn't allowed it.
But now she could control some swords.
Make them move, attack, or even freeze the enemy's weapon.
But Sunny and Raine had no idea about this right now.

"Man,...It got stuck at ninty-nine. What a bummer. Give me another one. A good one." Raine said.
"A good one, hah... Mmm, how about midnight shard.... No, we need it, so no shard memories... But I don't have any usless swords left, ...so let's see, ...no golden blade either, that's a good one. ...ok, let's use another echo, we don't need them anyway..." Sunny gave him another echo.
"Ok, then, here we go...." Raine summoned the echo and Prisma easily crushed it just like before.

"It looks really empty without any starts, ..like an abyss." Sunny said looking up at the sky.
"And it would have been like this, if that sun wasn't created." Raine said.
"Yeah, but we are going to distroy that sun, aren't we? ... it's connected to the that terror, right?" Sunny asked.
"Maybe.... Or maybe not. Who knows... Our goal is to use the gate, ... I don't remember it clearly, but maybe we have to kill the terror to activate the gate?, it's a shame that this land will be left in darkness afterwards if that happens..." Raine said.
"Yeah? ...I think it's better this way, ... atleast spell won't send people here to die in this place... you know, if this place was flooded with the sea." Sunny said.
"Yeah... You are right. ..Then there will be no chance of surviving against those creatures from the dark sea. ...so it will be a good thing.." Raine said.
Suddenly they both paused.
Something shifted in air.
A change.
They didn't know what.
Until Raine started laughing.
"What was that?" Sunny asked, confused.
"Prisma. ...She did it.. ...The spell announced in my ear....."
"Hahahahha, I'm brimming with excitement...." Raine summoned Prisma.
The blade appeared from his shadow like always.
Nothing looked different.
But it felt different.
Like a pressure.
Heavy.
It was her presence.
Presence of a transcendant being.
"Cool, you became more beautiful, Prisma. ...Although I don't see any changes.. but I do feel them... Like you have returned from a relaxing spa..." Raine said, with stars in his eyes.
Prisma moved around, getting familiar with her new strength.
Raine and Sunny saw with widened eyes.
It was way faster then they could even track with their eyes.
All they saw was a glowing blur moving in the night sky.
"She's like a shooting star, ... that is about to fall on the earth.... Beautiful." Raine said with his eyes glued to the scenes.
After some time, Prisma returned to his side.
"Well, you have grown faster, and stronger, .....I'm don't think that terror will stand a chance against you.."
"But just curious, did you get any new abilities? ....It's ok if you don't, ...you are already awesome as you are, you know. I'm just curious, that's all." Raine said to Prisma.
Prisma just glowed and moved higher in the air.
"She's going to show us something." Raine said.
The next moment, there eyes widened.
With a bright glow in the sky, the sword split.
....Into countless other swords.
The sky got filled with them.
All looked similar to the original one.
Beautiful. .. glowing.
There were hundreds of them in the air.
And then they moved.
All together.
Sunny and Raine watched the breathtaking scene.
It was like a meteor shower.
But way more beautiful.
And it could also become way more lethal too.
They both saw the scene, there eyes filled with wonder.

After years of darkness, people finally saw stars shine in the sky of forgotten shore.
