The caveman roared.
The sound echoed through the entire inverted corridor.
Dorian swallowed nervously.
"Well..."
The giant continued charging toward him across the ceiling.
"That's concerning."
Without wasting any time, the elf pulled the small glass jar from his pocket again.
He opened it.
And dozens of moss spiders shot out.
"Come on, little ones."
The green creatures raced across the walls and ceiling.
Within seconds, they got to work.
Roots. Vines. Moss.
Everything began spreading throughout the corridor.
The spiders launched plant fibers directly at the caveman's legs.
Trying to slow him down.
Trying to immobilize him.
Trying to make him trip.
But nothing worked.
The monster simply kept advancing.
The roots and vines snapped apart.
The moss was torn away beneath his feet.
Dorian's eyes widened.
"That should be working better."
The caveman was already dangerously close.
Then Seraphine intervened.
The mage raised a hand.
