Just as its jaws were about to close around my waist, I leapt up the wall, using it as a springboard.
Then I stepped on the Hellhound's back and landed behind it.

Having lost its target, the Hellhound crashed headfirst into the corner.

Its pained whimper echoed around the chamber.
