After a complex 'communication', Hades finally managed to get Metis to temporarily divert her attention from the 'bathhouse sightseeing incident' and the 'god-killing scythe plan'.
The suffocating low pressure between the thrones eased slightly, and Hades was able to refocus his gaze on the world.
He calmly observed Alexander's movements.
The growing legion, the 'Spear of Divine Retribution' embodying the resentment of war, the arrogant plan to break the barriers of the world...
All of this showed that this demigod had become an extremely unstable bomb.
Hades quickly weighed the pros and cons.
Help Zeus suppress Alexander? This was unnecessary and brought no benefit.
Zeus's power had long since declined, and his divinity was increasingly evolving in an unpredictable and twisted direction; supporting him brought Hades no advantage.
Sit idly by and watch Alexander succeed and overthrow Zeus?
The risk was too great. Not to mention how a demigod capable of killing his father and ascending the throne would treat other gods, his plan to use the faith of hundreds of millions of living beings to forcibly break the world barrier could damage the world structure of Chaos, which Hades could not tolerate.
Well, the best thing to do was to move the problem.
Hades remembered Kratos, whom he had cast out as a beacon, and the 'original Greek world' that was very similar to the world of Chaos.
"Since they are so eager to exterminate the gods, so dissatisfied with the rule of the gods..." Hades whispered.
"Then give them a more 'suitable' stage."
Today's Zeus, though weak and twisted, was at least in the position of God-King, constrained by various rules, potential restrictions, and his own hedonism; his destructive power was still under control.
But if Alexander, an ambitious conqueror who had mastered dangerous technologies and weapons, sat on the throne of the God-King...
God knows what to expect!
He might drag the entire world into endless war for his desire to 'conquer'.
At this moment, Hades could almost conclude that the very position of God-King carried a kind of 'curse'.
Whether it was a clever leader of rebellion like Zeus before he ascended the throne, or powerful and heroic figures like Uranus and Cronus, once they occupied the pinnacle of power, they seemed unable to escape the fate of gradually becoming paranoid, suspicious, tyrannical, and even twisted.
This position was like a vat of dye; no matter how clear the divine body placed into it, it would eventually be stained a dirty color.
"Let them go to that world, rebel, kill, and fight as much as they want," Hades made the final decision.
Didn't Alexander want to kill the gods?
Didn't Kratos want to take revenge on Olympus?
Wasn't Zeus from that world equally disgusting and weak?
Perfect timing; let them put on a vigorous drama of theocratic change on this 'original' stage.
And he could sit calmly behind the scenes of the world of Chaos and watch coldly.
No matter how the killing went, whether Alexander eventually stepped on Zeus's bones, Kratos completed his bloody revenge, or both lost... For Hades, there was no loss.
He could even exert a slight influence at critical moments to ensure the war did not subside prematurely and that the consumption on both sides was sufficiently tragic.
Then, when the dust settled, whether the world was left with a destroyed divine realm or a power vacuum left by a new god ascending the throne... He, Hades, could calmly 'get something for free'.
This was a trick to divert water eastward, and also a trick to let the sandpipers and clams fight while the fisherman profits.
Hades's will, like an invisible web, quietly connected two parallel Greek worlds.
He used Kratos in the other world as the most accurate 'beacon' to clearly anchor the coordinates of this 'original' world.
Then, he did not act personally, but through a secret channel, transmitted key knowledge about the laws of space to Athena, who was supporting Alexander behind the scenes.
The goddess immediately understood the deep meaning of the Father God.
With her superior intellect and divine power as the goddess of crafts, Athena quietly moved and managed to build a portal—a cross-world portal connecting the two worlds, far from the sight of Olympus.
The portal radiated a deep light, and its stability far exceeded the crude 'key' Alexander himself had tried to create.
Subsequently, the portal was 'anonymously' delivered to Alexander.
No explanation, no conditions, only a door to an unknown world, and the fluctuations of divine power faintly audible from the other side of the door, which were of the same origin as his world, but slightly different.
Alexander stood before the huge portal and was silent for a long time.
He stroked the 'Spear of Divine Retribution', in which hundreds of millions of resentments were compressed, and then looked at the tens of millions of elite legions behind him.
He understood perfectly well where this door came from, and also understood what the Lord of Hades meant—you can't cause trouble here; if you want to leave, go there.
Submit to Hades's will? The proud conqueror was full of humiliation and unwillingness.
But he knew better that he had no choice.
No matter how much power he had accumulated, how many terrifying artifacts he had created, and even secretly received support from Prometheus and Athena, challenging the reigning God-King, fighting Zeus, his chances of victory were slim.
And with Hades... All of Alexander's trump cards seemed so immature and ridiculous before him.
From beginning to end, he had been dancing on the edge of a knife, gambling in a desperate situation.
Betting on Zeus's decline, betting on his own luck, and on a one-in-ten-thousand chance of success.
And now Hades had given him another table, with unknown risks, but at least not for a limited time.
Or stay here, ready for the divine punishment that might come at any moment from Zeus, and the cold eyes of the unfathomable Hades?
Or enter this door, go to a seemingly familiar yet unfamiliar world, meet the gods there, and start conquest and revenge anew?
Alexander took a deep breath, and the hesitation in his eyes turned to resolve.
He drew his sword and pointed it at the portal through which light flowed.
"March!"
No passionate speeches, only cold orders.
The huge legion, like a silent stream of steel, began to step neatly into the portal, rushing towards a completely unknown battlefield.
They would bring war and destruction to Olympus in another world.
And just as Alexander and his legions began their unprecedented journey across worlds, Hades, sitting on the throne of Chaos's Hades, also began his actions.
His divine thoughts, like the greediest shadows, quietly spread through the passage created by the portal into the 'original' Greek world, precisely locating the other Hades, who was also in the underworld.
The lord of Hades who had not experienced reincarnation, had not escaped fate, and might be more in line with the 'original world'.
Hades from Chaos directly initiated absorption.
He transformed into an invisible black hole, enveloping his counterpart in the other world.
Hades from that world didn't even have time to react much before he felt his own existence, divine core, and power, like hundreds of rivers returning to the sea, irresistibly flowing towards his counterpart from the 'strange' world.
This process was not a simple superposition, but an integration and sublimation of essence.
The power of the same root and source eliminated the greatest repulsion, making the process of synthesis exceptionally smooth and efficient.
Hades from Chaos clearly felt his divinity deepening, and he had a deeper understanding and control over death, the underworld, subterranean wealth, and even hidden powers.
He was absorbing everything from another 'self', completing himself, and accelerating towards a certain state of 'transcendence', beyond the gods.
He lightly clapped his hands, as if he had just finished some trivial matter.
"Now, the stage is yours."
