Chapter 210 - Chapter 210: Prepare to die! Thor

"This feeling is so wonderful!"

Artoria felt light flowing around her, along with a massive amount of energy, like a torrent carrying her along at high speed. Thor was not far from her, his expression very calm. After all, this was Artoria's first time riding the Bifrost, while as the son of Odin, he had long used the Bifrost to campaign against rebels who resisted Asgardian rule. Thus, Thor was used to this mode of travel. After what felt like about ten seconds, Artoria saw a dazzling exit. The speed was very fast, yet Artoria felt only peace. Like a roller coaster, it was extremely fast at the beginning and slowed down at the end. In the blink of an eye, Artoria was standing inside a gold-colored 'room' that resembled a palace.

"Heimdall, I'm back."

While Artoria was observing her surroundings, Tony spoke happily to the 'Gold Saint' standing in the center, but the other party clearly couldn't be bothered to respond, remaining in a state of ignoring him. However, Artoria could feel that the other's gaze was fixed tightly on her. It made sense; as an outsider, Artoria was naturally a presence that required vigilance.

"This is my friend's sister, Artoria Stark. This is the Guardian God, Heimall. You two should be able to get along. Heimdall, where is my Mother?"

"She is in the usual place, waiting for you."

Thor's personality was very impatient, sometimes acting as if he wanted to say everything he had to say in one breath. But Heimdall seemed to know what Thor was going to ask next and gave him the answer directly. Then, he quietly looked back toward the place where Artoria and the others had arrived—the entrance/exit of the Bifrost—and returned to silence. If the previous dialogue hadn't proven he was alive, one might have thought he was a wax statue.

"Alright! Let's go, Artoria."

Knowing Heimdall's personality, Thor didn't blame him for his coldness. He excitedly led Artoria toward the city of Asgard. This was the first time he had brought a friend from outside to his home as a guest; the feeling was very fresh and eased his longing for Jane. Artoria, who hadn't gotten a word in, followed silently behind Thor like a good girl. However, the feeling of being watched didn't diminish at all. This made Artoria flip a table in her mind—good grief, he really didn't trust her. Even after she entered, he was still monitoring her. What a cautious fellow.

"What? Artoria was taken away by Thor?"

Back on Earth, Tony was instantly dumbfounded upon receiving the news, followed by a surge of rage. Good grief, I treat you like a friend, and you actually want to be my brother-in-law and take my sister away? Tony felt like the flames of his anger were about to make his head explode. He paced back and forth in a rage and even put on his suit to blast everything around him to smithereens.

"Jarvis, bring out the Anti-Thor Armor. I want to upgrade it. I want to load the strongest weapons onto it. I want Thor to disappear from this world."

"Yes, sir."

After venting, Tony walked into the lab wearing his suit. He was going to let Thor know the wrath of a sister-con. You can touch my suits, but if you touch my sister, I'll make you wish you were dead. Several plans surfaced in his mind, and Tony felt they were very feasible. A man who wanted to be his brother-in-law didn't exist in this world—unless Tony was dead. Otherwise, he'd have to get past him first. Poor Thor had unknowingly become a massive scapegoat. Only a few people knew Artoria's purpose for going to Asgard—besides Artoria herself, only three people knew: Odin, the Ancient One, and Thor. So Thor was really taking the fall this time.

"My Artoria was actually taken away by some wild man just like that? Bastard!"

Susan, who had returned to the company, expressed that she couldn't accept this result and went into a furious rampage. Her powerful telekinesis sent all the surrounding books flying. It wasn't just Susan who lost control of her emotions; Hope did too. Although she looked calm on the outside, one could see how unsettled her heart was from her angry eyes and the cup crushed in her hand. Maya, Gwen, Helen Cho, and Raven hid far away for fear of being caught in the crossfire. But a very realistic issue stood before these women: what does it feel like when someone you have feelings for is taken away? At this moment, these women had already begun thinking of ways to kill Thor.

"We must think of a way; we can't just sit and wait. For example, how do you kill an alien prince without being discovered? What do you all think?"

Hope was the first to recover. Although the fire in her heart was burning fiercely, she managed to endure it. She stood up and spoke to those around her. As her words, filled with murderous intent, were spoken, they quickly influenced all the surrounding women. Their expressions turned fierce one by one, and their auras became powerful to the extreme. Seeing her 'partners' so motivated, Hope revealed a murderous smile and spoke with satisfaction.

"Prepare to die, Thor."

"Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!"

Artoria looked strangely at Thor, who was leading the way, as he sneezed repeatedly. This guy hadn't caught some disease, had he? Seriously, weren't Asgardians supposed to have incredibly strong bodies? How could he be so 'frail' as to catch a 'cold'? Seriously, she hoped it wasn't contagious.

"Mother, I'm back."

Thor was even more puzzled than Artoria. Why did his nose suddenly feel so itchy? There was nothing wrong with his body! What was going on? But he soon stopped thinking about such trifles because he saw his Mother. With a happy smile on his face, Thor laughed like a big boy and spoke to the most brilliant goddess surrounded by a group of women. This woman was Thor's stepmother, Queen Frigga, who treated Loki and Thor as her own. Artoria watched the scene of the Mother and son embracing, and a hint of envy unconsciously flashed in her eyes. Before encountering the Dark Elves, Thor was happy, with a Mother who loved him, a father who provided support in the background, and a mischievous younger brother. It could be considered a 'harmonious family.' He also had a childhood sweetheart who liked him; it was an enviable life of a winner.

After encountering the Dark Elves, his Mother died, his father was blinded by rage and eventually chose self-exile before passing away, his eldest sister escaped her seal to hunt down Thor and Loki, and Asgard was destroyed along with his sister. While leading his people in migration, they encountered Thanos, and his people and friends were all wiped out. Most importantly, his brother died too. In other words, however happy Thor was in the beginning, he was tormented just as badly later on.

"And who is this?"

At this moment, Queen Frigga also noticed Artoria standing quietly to the side. She could hardly believe there was such a beautiful child in the world. She didn't know where her boy had found her. No wonder he had been restless and wanting to go out lately; so his heart was here! Thinking this, the Queen had clearly misunderstood. She studied Artoria carefully, as if looking at a rare treasure.

"This is my friend's sister, Artoria Stark, from Midgard."

Seeing his Mother and noticing Artoria, Thor happily explained to Frigga. However, in Frigga's eyes, this explanation was a cover-up. She remembered that Thor had never been this happy. In truth, Queen Mother, you've truly misread him; he was just homesick and was only that happy because he had returned to your side.

"Child, welcome."

"Greetings, Queen Mother."
