Chapter 264 - Chapter 264: Imminent Conflict, Advancing into the Muggle World

This was a summer that was no longer peaceful. By the time everyone in the Wizarding World and the Muggle World realized this, the war had already begun.

Hermione and the Madam Prime Minister's advance arrangements caused the Death Eaters' attacks across the entire British Wizarding World to come up empty.

After more than a decade, when the Death Eaters descended upon the Y Country Muggle World once again, prepared to unleash a series of bloody massacres there,

they were met by the Auror teams arranged by Hermione, the magic-resistant cement that Amanda had spent an exorbitant amount of money to replace almost all the buildings in the Y Country Muggle World with, and the armed police and military of the Y Country Muggle World.

Ordinary citizens quickly evacuated into surrounding buildings. Aurors hidden in the shadows waved their wands to cast spells, pistol bullets struck against Shield Charms, and large-caliber machine guns fired into the sky.

This time, the war in the Wizarding World finally managed to pit soldiers against soldiers.

Rather than letting soldiers directly target ordinary civilians.

"In the first head-on collision, we didn't lose a single person. Eight Death Eaters were seriously injured, and six were killed."

Hermione put down the report in her hand and raised her hand toward Amanda, who cooperated perfectly by high-fiving her.

"Keep it up!" × 2

"Alright, girls, pause your celebration for a moment."

A gentle voice came from the doorway. Helga and Rowena, who had not appeared for a long time, walked quickly into the Ministry of Magic's office.

Amanda's eyes lit up. She stepped forward and hugged both of them, one in each arm. "Mothers, I've missed you so much."

"We missed you too, darling."

Helga turned her head and kissed Amanda's forehead, while Rowena gently stroked her back.

"Good child, you have finally fully recovered."

"Mm!"

Releasing the two Mothers, Amanda showed them a brilliant smile.

Facing Amanda's brilliant smile, the two Mothers looked at her with relief, but their expressions quickly turned serious again.

"We really have urgent business to find you about this time."

"Lady Hufflepuff, Lady Ravenclaw, please go ahead."

Hermione stood up and stood with Amanda, looking at the two people opposite them.

"You need to see this." Helga handed the document in her hand to Hermione.

"We have been helping you deal with those people in the Muggle World who are shaking the economic foundations of Y Country and emptying out its wealth."

Rowena explained the contents of the document, "It's not really a coincidence. Most of them are the same kind of people, or should I say, the same ethnic group?"

"It's a very distinct characteristic," Helga added in agreement. "Originally, the impact Amanda brought upon them was already enough to give them a hard time."

"Plus our occasional surprise attacks, it kept them from being able to do more, only allowing them to slightly hinder that Madam Prime Minister in the Muggle World."

Rowena's eyes flashed with a gaze as sharp as a hawk's. "But recently, we discovered that many of them have started contacting Voldemort."

"Contacting Voldemort?"

Hermione closed the document in her hand, already having an idea of who was in it and which major companies were involved.

"Voldemort, a person who discriminates against Muggles so much, is actually willing to have contact with them?"

"This is war, silly girl," Rowena said, smiling and tapping Hermione on the head. "As long as it helps them win, everyone will do anything."

"Voldemort can cooperate with them now and just liquidate them after he succeeds."

Helga accurately stated Voldemort's plan from the side.

"So these people have completely raised the butcher's knife against the ordinary citizens on their own side." Amanda gently held Hermione's hand.

"Yes, compared to ordinary citizens, I think they value more the market in the British Wizarding World, and even the Wizarding Worlds of other countries, that Voldemort can give them if he succeeds."

"To them, the life of an ordinary citizen might not even be worth a single Galleon."

"Heh," Hermione snorted coldly, squeezing Amanda's hand back. "To me, their lives are equally worthless."

"Excellent realization." Rowena raised an eyebrow, looking at Hermione with a curled lip.

Raising her hand to touch the Ministry of Magic badge on her chest, Hermione narrowed her eyes slightly. "When they threaten the ordinary citizens of Y Country, whether in the Muggle World or the Wizarding World, they are already my enemies."

Not to mention that these people hadn't stolen enough wealth from the Y Country Muggle World; they actually dared to covet the wealth of the British Wizarding World.

Her Amanda had only just reorganized the wealth of the British Wizarding World, allowing ordinary citizens to live happy lives, and now they wanted to come and interfere?

What kind of daydream are they having? Do they think they have no temper and are young and easy to bully?

"Hermione," Amanda turned her head to look at her lover beside her, raising her other hand to pinch her cheek. "If you also serve as the prime minister of the Muggle World, will you still have time to accompany me?"

"Huh?"

Hearing Amanda's words, Hermione froze in place. Although in her original plan, she did indeed intend to target the Muggle World sooner or later.

But she had never thought about completing this goal so soon.

"Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures," Amanda leaned close to Hermione, her hot breath blowing gently on Hermione's face. "Everything is ready; it just needs Hermione's nod."

"Hermione can remove the cancer for the ordinary citizens of the Muggle World and allow both sides to unite more closely to fight against Voldemort."

"Mm-hmm, indeed."

Hermione leaned in, kissing Amanda before Amanda could kiss her, and forcibly pulled her into her arms.

They kissed for quite a while, until Amanda's legs went a bit weak, and only after she let out a soft whine did Hermione let go.

"You had foreseen this long ago, didn't you?"

Hermione panted slightly, looking down at Amanda in her arms. "Those guys would contact Voldemort; I don't believe you didn't think of it."

When she heard the phrase 'everything is ready', Hermione realized something was wrong.

This Amanda was obviously prepared long ago; she might even have been waiting for those people to contact Voldemort.

"Indeed," Amanda caught her breath and stood up from Hermione's arms. "These people will be obstacles to the world Hermione wants to build."

"Then there is no better choice than letting them disappear along with Voldemort."

"My far-sighted Miss Amanda," Hermione curled the corners of her mouth looking at Amanda. "I truly feel lucky that you are my lover."

"Me too."

"Ahem, perhaps two little ones have forgotten that we are still here?"

Rowena watched these two little girls, who had been affectionately making out for a while as if no one else was around, with amusement, and she also reached out to put her arm around Helga's waist.

It's just lovers, as if no one else has one.

"Sorry, Mothers, I couldn't help myself." Amanda turned her head and blinked without much apology.

"Alright, I know you two have a good relationship," Rowena waved her hand. "We won't disturb you anymore."

"Leave the rest of the matters for the two of you to handle yourselves," Helga, who was being held, smiled at Amanda and Hermione. "We are going back to Hogwarts to rest. Godric and Salazar should be waking up soon too."

"Okay, thank you for your hard work, Mothers."

Amanda replied obediently, then added a bit mischievously, "I'm just a little curious if Mr. Slytherin will be angered to death by Voldemort when he wakes up, considering Voldemort is using his name."

As for that... Rowena and Helga looked at each other. With Salazar's temper, he would definitely be angry.

After all, everything Voldemort does is disgraceful. Starting a war targeting only ordinary citizens, and committing massacres in his name—for Salazar,

this is undoubtedly the greatest stain.

"We really do have to keep an eye on him." Rowena said while rubbing her forehead with a headache.

Otherwise, I'm afraid that on the day Salazar wakes up, Voldemort will have to face an Avada Kedavra from his ancestor.

After seeing off their two Mothers, Amanda immediately began to handle the matter of Hermione entering the Muggle World.

First, the Ministry of Magic, headed by Hermione, submitted an application to the Y Country Muggle government to form a separate political party, with Hermione herself undoubtedly serving as the leader.

The application was written within an hour and appeared on the Madam Prime Minister's desk fifteen minutes later.

The moment she saw this document, the Madam Prime Minister let out a long sigh of relief.

"It's finally started," she raised her hand and rubbed her eyebrows wearily. "Being hindered like this, this job is really impossible to continue."

God is my witness, now it's not just external forces hindering her; even the guys behind her are constantly suppressing her.

If it weren't for Amanda supporting her, and the high acclaim from the ordinary citizens, she probably would have been unable to hold on and been impeached long ago.

Now it's fine. With Miss Granger taking over, she wants to see how those guys can still be so rampant!

For this reason, the Madam Prime Minister unhesitatingly signed the application with a flourish of her pen.

She directly submitted it to the Election Committee without any delay, just so that there wouldn't be even a tiny chance for that group of people to intervene.

The Election Committee was puzzled when they saw the application personally delivered by the Madam Prime Minister, and shocked when they saw the content of the application.

They had seen plenty of applications to form political parties, but what was the situation with the applicant being Hermione Granger on this one?

They knew this person. Isn't this the Minister for Magic of the British Wizarding World?

Why is she coming to the Y Country Muggle World to form a political party? And calling it the Peace Party...

And what's the situation with the members of her political party?

So many people? Does this include all the citizens of the British Wizarding World?

Is that how it works? Directly parachuting in as the biggest party?

"Is there anything in this application that violates regulations?" The Madam Prime Minister sat casually on the chair in front of the Election Committee, her posture more relaxed and arrogant than ever before.

What a joke. She was about to leave and quit anyway; why should she care about these people's feelings? Of course, she would do whatever made her happy!

"Strictly speaking, there is indeed no problem." The person from the Election Committee looked troubled, trying to signal his people to go out and find someone.

The Madam Prime Minister was clearly going to do something big with the Wizarding World side; how could he dare to sign this application?

However, before his person could walk out the door, they were blocked by a black man.

A member of the Order of the Phoenix. The Madam Prime Minister's current bodyguard. Kingsley Shacklebolt looked at the person trying to leave with a smile.

"Sorry, you cannot go out right now."

"Madam Prime Minister," the person from the Election Committee took a deep breath. "It's not that I don't agree; it's really that if Minister Granger truly wants to form such a political party, she at least has to prove that all the people she mentioned agree to join, and that they want her to be the leader."

"Oh, of course." The Madam Prime Minister showed a victorious smile. She wasn't afraid of the Election Committee making demands; she was only afraid they wouldn't make any.

The moment the person from the Election Committee made the demand, they had already won.

The Madam Prime Minister leisurely took a proof document out of her personal briefcase and placed it on the table.

That was the survey questionnaire that Amanda had specifically asked Senior Platt to send out with The Daily Prophet and the Wizarding World Gazette on the day Hermione took office as Minister for Magic.

The survey asked whether everyone in the Wizarding World was willing to join the Peace Party and whether they were willing to acknowledge Hermione as the leader.

Undoubtedly, the agreement rate was one hundred percent.

Looking at the report with a one hundred percent agreement rate in front of him, the person from the Election Committee felt his tongue almost tying into a knot.

"This, this she..."

"Yes, Minister Granger also needs to prove the legality of all her funding sources."

"Of course."

The Madam Prime Minister smiled and agreed, taking out another document and placing it in front of him.

"Miss Amanda is responsible for all the funding of the Peace Party, and all sources of funds are reasonable and legal."

"Oh... this is really, really, Madam Prime Minister, you are truly well-prepared."

The person from the Election Committee gave a bitter smile, took the permission slip, and stamped it with a face ashen with despair.

There was no other way; they couldn't drag it out any longer, they had to do this.

They couldn't find anyone, and the other party met all the conditions, so what else could they do?

At worst... at worst, they would just resign later. It's just that they would have to look for another job, sigh.

Watching the dejected faces of the Election Committee, and considering that they were just working for the people behind them, the Madam Prime Minister kindly reminded them.

"Don't be in such a hurry to resign, everyone. After working for the people behind you for so long, don't you want to stand up and be your own masters for once?"

Meeting the gazes of these people on the Election Committee, the Madam Prime Minister stood up and smiled at them confidently.

"There are some things I cannot do, but someone else can. The people behind you, and the people behind me, won't be able to jump around for many more days."

"Hold on. Not to mention empty talk like becoming your own masters, doubling wages and lowering prices is a certainty. Today's Wizarding World is our tomorrow."

The people from the Election Committee's eyes lit up instantly when they heard the Madam Prime Minister talk about doubling wages and lowering prices.

They weren't the "big guys" behind them; who does this job if not to support their families?

To have these two practical points, that's just too good, isn't it! For so many years, someone finally wasn't giving them "empty checks"!

And nowadays, who in the Y Country Muggle World doesn't know how good the British Wizarding World is? Not to mention anything else, just Minister Granger's first decree is enough to make them envious.

If it could really be staged in the Muggle World...

The people from the Election Committee in the room collectively took a deep breath and stood up suddenly.

"We absolutely welcome Minister Granger to come to the Muggle World to display her grand ambitions!" × 2
