To get rid of this elderly chatterbox loli, Hades wrote furiously, quickly processing documents. However, Hades didn't know that while she was busy, the earth began to shake.
"It's a bit overloaded."
A mouthful of black blood spewed onto the ground, instantly corroding a large hole. Gaia, seeing this, murmured expressionlessly,
"You see, I can't kill you, and you can't kill me. How about we call it quits?"
After wiping away the golden blood from the corner of her mouth, Alaya, looking disheveled with several new gashes on her body, had golden blood flowing from her wounds, soaking her fair clothes. Feeling the dwindling divine power within her, Alaya, feigning nonchalance, said,
"Hmph~!"
Gaia snorted disdainfully at Alaya. Her current state wasn't much better! Her body was being corroded by the power of the abyss, and that immense malice, coupled with its corrosive ability, was something even she, a conceptual god born from chaos alongside the abyss, couldn't fully control.
At first, fighting with all her might, she could still endure. But now, they had been fighting for almost two months, and her divine body was starting to give out. Finally, Gaia could only glare at Alaya resentfully before turning and leaving.
"Hoo~!"
"I almost died."
Watching her opponent leave, Alaya let out a deep sigh of relief. If the other party had continued to pester her, Alaya felt she might have truly been doomed. She didn't have Gaia's special status; although she was also a conceptual god, she was only a conceptual god of a species, not born from chaos.
It was simply the difference between a wealthy player and a common player. The other party's foundation was much stronger than Alaya's. If Gaia had used all her power, plus her Greek Pantheon, Zeus might have been widowed for her.
"But, which world did I end up in now?"
Looking around with a troubled expression, Alaya muttered to herself helplessly. After they had shattered a pile of spatial barriers, nearly a thousand dimensional worlds had been destroyed and vanished. Now she herself didn't know where she had ended up.
"Forget it, I'll just search slowly! That child, Adam, can already take care of himself."
Slowly opening a spatial gate, Alaya walked in, a bit tired. But she couldn't help but turn her head to look one last time at the land that had turned into a desert due to their divine power. She always felt this world was very familiar. Finally, defeated by exhaustion, she didn't linger and slowly walked out of this world.
"What did you say?"
Hearing the report from her subordinates, Hades's already gloomy face darkened further. She had just finished her work and successfully sent away that chatty loli. Unexpectedly, before she could even get intimate with Zeus for a while, a large number of undead suddenly flooded into the Underworld, completely ruining her mood.
"Your Majesty the Underworld King, a large number of undead have surged in from the earth at some unknown time. Now the Eighth, Third, and Sixth Hells are full. Please make a decision, Your Majesty."
The Underworld Warrior kneeling below said with a stiff upper lip. She knew this matter had ruined Her Majesty's mood, but if it wasn't dealt with quickly, chaos would erupt in the Underworld. Moreover, among these undead, there were even gods and a pair of demigods, which they couldn't judge and decide upon, so they could only report to Hades.
"Go, find out what happened on Earth."
Hades said to the Underworld Warrior below, holding her throbbing forehead.
Hearing Hades's command, that Underworld Warrior had no doubts, instantly turned and left to carry out Hades's orders.
"What on earth happened?"
Looking at the lifeless Underworld, Hades said helplessly. She turned and left the temple to go to the judgment hall. This time, after being separated from her sister, she was going to vent her anger on these clueless fellows.
These poor undead! They truly had the worst luck. First, they were affected by the battle between Gaia and Alaya, and then they angered the Underworld King. It was simply a terrible day.
"This is absolutely terrible."
While Hades was busy, her second sister, Poseidon, currently had a dumbfounded expression, looking at one side of the earth. She could feel the powerful divine power fluctuations even from the deepest part of the Sea Realm. Curiously, she floated to the surface, quietly poking her head out, saw two great gods fighting fiercely, and then left.
"I didn't expect Grandmother to be so strong. This news must be conveyed to my eldest sister and the others."
Thinking of this, Poseidon no longer lingered and flew directly towards the Underworld.
"Eldest sister."
"Alright, I know."
Hades, who had just managed to snatch some free time from her busy schedule, was immediately cornered by Poseidon. If it weren't for Poseidon's astonishing news, Hades would have slapped this nuisance to death. Her precious time with Zeus had been ruined by these troublesome people.
"You go back first! We can only act once we know their objective. It's not suitable to act now."
Hades solemnly tried to dissuade Poseidon, but it was also true. Not to mention knowing Gaia's objective! They simply couldn't defeat her. And Hades was more concerned about that mysterious powerhouse who could fight Gaia to a draw. Perhaps they could try to win her over.
Poseidon, with a docile expression, turned and walked away. Although she was very curious why her eldest sister smelled so much like little Zeus, during this sensitive period, it was better not to ask, to avoid getting hit.
"It truly is as that Eastern saying goes, 'One wave has not settled, another wave rises'."
Hades said with a sigh, looking at Poseidon's retreating back.
"But Gaia! I will not let you harm Zeus again. Even if it costs me my life, I will protect her."
Rising from her divine throne, Hades swore by the River Styx that even if she fought until her last drop of blood, she would ensure Zeus safely escaped from the tyrannical hands of Gaia.
Gaia and Alaya were completely unaware of the huge commotion caused by their battle. They probably wouldn't care even if they knew, as the only being they truly cherished, besides Zeus, was nothing else.
"Father God, you've returned."
Athena respectfully greeted the person on the divine throne, who was Gaia, one of the highest gods of the entire Greek Pantheon, the Goddess of Earth.
"Mm! You've worked hard while I was away."
Gaia smiled as she looked at her daughter. This was the crystallization of her and Zeus's 'love'. It was probably only Zeus or Athena who could make this great god show a hint of a smile now.
"Not at all. Sharing Father God's worries is what Athena should do. Moreover, there are races created by Mother God on Earth, and their company keeps me from being lonely."
Athena stood in the center of the temple and slowly reported her recent situation to Gaia.
"Those little bugs, you handle them as you see fit! But be careful."
Completely unconcerned about Hades and her affairs, in Gaia's eyes, the other party didn't even have the qualifications to fight her. Instead, it could train Athena, so she didn't intend to interfere with this matter.
Athena nodded in response. She had long known what Gaia would say. She was only looking for a topic to talk to her 'father', after all, besides her mother, her father was the closest to her.
"Is there any news of Mother God?"
Looking at the somewhat tired Gaia, Athena couldn't help but ask.
"Don't ask what you shouldn't ask. Just manage the earth well."
Unfortunately, Gaia's expression immediately changed from gentle to stern. She glared coldly at Athena. Now Zeus was a thorn in her heart; no one, including her own daughter, could touch it.
Seeing this, Athena nodded unwillingly in response.
"Go down! Just manage the earth well."
"Then I will return to Earth. Goodbye, Father God."
After giving instructions to Athena, Gaia closed her eyes and began to calm the power within her body. Athena also knew what to do, bid Gaia farewell, and flew away.
