The camera flashes from the reporters seemed to fade away. Chu Yao then saw Lu Xize turn toward her. On his incredibly handsome face, an eyebrow was slightly raised, his expression both steady and flirtatious, as if he were that same high-spirited youth from years ago.
"I never needed you to have your world revolve around mine. All I've ever wanted is to have you."
"Yaoyao, let's get married, hmm?"
Lu Xize seemed to have said much more, but those were the only two lines Chu Yao heard in the end.
At the press conference earlier today, she had been composed, calm, and relaxed; she knew exactly what she was doing. But now... Chu Yao was simply dazed. Utterly and completely.
