"Huh? A creditor?"
This sudden change in identity startled Liang Youjun. Standing beside him, Liang Shuhuo was just as confused.
Lin Jiang casually pulled a piece of paper from his back pocket. At the top were the two words, "IOU Note."
"She borrowed two million from me last year for an investment. It's been overdue for more than three months, and she still hasn't paid me back. With principal and interest, the total is now 2.4 million."
Lin Jiang pointed to the note and said,
"It's all here in black and white, complete with her thumbprint and signature. So, when do you plan on paying me back?"
"Huh? A loan shark?"
Staring at the IOU note in Lin Jiang's hand, Liang Youjun trembled. He'd never imagined something like this could happen to him.
