"Did you conquer even Alina, Mr. President?" Beiya Leila asked in pleasant surprise, her face beaming with a brilliant smile.
"She chose to support me voluntarily. I'm not sure of her motives, but at least the outcome was the right one." Su Xuan shrugged lightly. After leaving the Elf Mother Tree, he hadn't returned to the Guild. Instead, he had come to Beiya Leila's small wooden cabin again.
There was no particular reason. He was just thirsty and wanted a cup of milk tea, and while he was at it, he figured he'd ask Beiya Leila a few things about the Elf Queen.
"Is that so? Alina's thoughts are indeed hard to guess. She's just a little girl, not even a hundred years old," Beiya Leila said with a smile as she poured tea for Su Xuan.
"Not even a hundred…" Su Xuan took a light sip of his tea, sighing internally. 'Elves really are a long-lived race. They're still considered little girls under a hundred!'
"Speaking of which, she's not quite like the rest of you, is she?"
