Chapter 502 - Chapter 504 Father and Son

"I wonder how William is doing now?" Marcus's face showed a hint of nostalgia as he was about to meet his Werewolf brother.

To see his brother as soon as possible, Marcus had already arranged the affairs of the Vampire and Werewolf factories in Washington State, then came directly to New York to wait.

Now, he was with his father, Alexander, in a somewhat secluded villa.

This seemingly unpretentious villa was the new home Alexander had prepared for himself and his children.

"Mr. Mike mentioned it briefly on the phone; William's situation is still the same as before, like a beast…" Alexander, who was sitting on the sofa, puffing on a cigar, looked much more somber.

As a father, he naturally had to consider his children.

The main reason he bought such a secluded villa was to accommodate his second son, William the Werewolf.

Subsequently, the father and son in the villa exchanged glances and fell silent again.

They both knew William's situation: thousands of years ago, he had already devolved into a beast, devoid of reason and prone to violence.

Thousands of years had passed, and given his condition, the best outcome was that he hadn't been exploited and died in conspiracies, nor had he been manipulated and silently vanished into dark corners.

As family, what more could Alexander and Marcus ask for?

As time passed little by little, the atmosphere in this villa, which had deliberately not hired servants, became increasingly heavy, until only the faint sound of the cigar burning remained.

Just then, a beam of white light illuminated the quiet living room, followed by a white portal appearing in the void.

"Hi, Alexander, Marcus, long time no see. Look what I've brought you—" As the voice sounded, Mike stepped out of the spatial gate, followed by a Werewolf over five meters tall.

Clearly, Mike had fulfilled his promise and brought Alexander's Werewolf son back before Christmas.

At this point, without his introduction, Alexander and Marcus had already fixed their gaze on the muscular Werewolf.

"William, my child, is that really you?" Alexander, with tears in his eyes, walked towards William the Werewolf.

Even after thousands of years, and even though William was over five meters tall, in Alexander's eyes, he was still a child.

The old man was about to embrace his second son.

However, the First Werewolf, who lacked normal thought, did not possess such emotions. The old man's approach was nothing short of an offense to him.

"Awooo—"

Amidst a furious roar, the First Werewolf opened his mouth wide and lunged at the unsuspecting old man in front of him.

This attack was too sudden; if it connected, even with Alexander's strong recovery ability, he would likely be hospitalized for a long time.

Fortunately, Marcus, the Vampire elder brother who followed closely behind, maintained a constant vigilance due to his many years of traveling abroad.

"Watch out!!!"

Seeing the dire situation, Marcus quickly stepped forward and used his hand to block his second brother's wide mouth, saving his father, Alexander, from his jaws.

However, in his haste, Marcus's outstretched hand was pierced by the First Werewolf's sharp teeth.

The thick scent of blood instantly ignited the First Werewolf's wild instincts.

Survival of the fittest, the law of the jungle.

Don't be fooled by how docile William was in front of Mike; that was because Mike's fists were hard enough.

But in the current situation, Marcus failed to subdue William immediately, so the First Werewolf's mind was filled only with slaughter.

"Quiet—!"

Seeing a fight about to erupt, Mike finally intervened.

As his voice fell, the First Werewolf's violent emotions quickly subsided, and he then truly squatted quietly in place, even his previously bloodshot eyes clearing up a bit.

This change made Marcus exclaim in wonder.

As for Alexander, who had recovered his composure, his gaze went back and forth between his Werewolf son and Mike several times.

Then, the old man let out a long sigh, invited Mike to sit on the sofa, and offered him his best cigar.

"Tell me about William." Amidst the swirling smoke, Alexander spoke as if making small talk.

"I don't know much about William. When I found him in London, he was being controlled by a Vampire named Victor…" Mike did not hide anything, describing the battle in London a few days prior.

He even told Alexander and Marcus about Victor's research into enhanced hybrids.

"Victor? I knew he was ambitious and not a good person. I can't believe William fell into his hands all these years…" Marcus's face showed remorse upon hearing his brother's ordeal.

Years ago, Victor, who was then a human lord, unwilling to simply die of old age, sought out the First Vampire, Marcus, when his life was nearing its end.

After much pleading and begging, he finally got his wish and was transformed into the first second-generation Vampire.

In other words, it was Marcus's momentary softheartedness that created an ambitious Vampire leader, which indirectly harmed William.

"You don't need to blame yourself. Victor has been eliminated by me, and everything will get better from now on," Mike comforted Marcus at the appropriate moment.

Now, the problem facing Alexander and Marcus was not how to get justice for William, but how to accommodate this untamed First Werewolf.

"Do you have a way to help William regain his sanity?" As expected, Alexander, being his father, had considered this point.

If the wildness within William was not eliminated, then to avoid harming innocents, his ultimate fate might be the same as thousands of years ago: chained in a basement.

"Solving William's problem will be very troublesome…" Mike pretended to ponder for a moment before answering noncommittally.

"So, you do have a way to solve William's problem." Marcus grasped the key point and said sincerely, "As long as you can cure William, I'll do anything."

"I share Marcus's thoughts." Thinking of Mike's various miraculous abilities, hope also rose in Alexander's heart.

"Alright, I do have a way to help William, but I can't guarantee ultimate success." Facing two pairs of hopeful eyes, Mike cautiously gave his promise.

However, he already had a plan.

In fact, treating William with the Power of Faith was not difficult; the reason Mike dragged it out for so long and allowed the First Werewolf to display his violent side was, to put it bluntly, to bestow a favor.

Thereby, he would completely draw Alexander's family into his own camp.

"Father, do you think Mike can succeed?" Outside the living room, Marcus asked uneasily.

Yes, to emphasize the difficulty of the treatment, Mike needed a quiet environment, so he had driven both Alexander and Marcus out of the living room.

"It should be fine, I trust Mr. Mike's abilities…" Alexander's expression was relatively calmer than his eldest son's, provided one overlooked his hands, which trembled slightly from excitement.

To be honest, if an uninformed person saw the expressions of this father and son, they would likely mistake them for being in a delivery room.

Compared to the tense atmosphere outside the living room, Mike inside the living room was much more relaxed.

He condensed a ball of purification power and threw it onto the First Werewolf.

Just as the problem with Vampires stems from bat infection, William's problem also stems from werewolf venom infection.

As long as the harmful Werewolf toxins in his body are purified, he can regain his sanity.

With the purification power applied, William's wildness and size visibly and rapidly shrunk.

Eventually, the First Werewolf shrunk into a normal Werewolf of over three meters, and human emotions gradually appeared in his eyes.

"Can you turn back into a human?" Mike asked.

Due to the structure of their throat bones, Werewolves in their wolf form cannot speak. However, when asked, the First Werewolf still obediently nodded.

Then, he transformed into his human form.

A middle-aged man in his thirties, with a rugged appearance and a weathered demeanor.

William, now human again, seemed to retain his previous memories, and his eyes held a slight evasiveness when facing Mike.
