"We ran into some sand ninja and one of them said they're going to try and kill me during the Chunin exam."
Anko's expression darkened, her eyes narrowing. Haku's eyes widened further, a hint of worry creeping into her usually expressionless face. "Sand ninja, huh? And they threatened you specifically?" Anko's hand drifted to the knife at her hip, her grip tightening."Which one made the threat?" She asked sharply.
"I wouldn't recommend going out there and fighting."
"That's not the point," Anko snapped, her eyes flashing with anger. She stood up abruptly, her hand still on her knife."Who. Made. The. Threat." She enunciated each word carefully, her jaw clenched tight.
"Her name is Gaara, and she is a jinchūriki." he said, making her and Haku's eyes widen while the other two girls looked confused on what the last word meant.
*Anko's eyes widened in shock, her hand releasing the knife as she sank back down onto the couch. Haku gasped softly, her hand flying to her mouth. Sakura and Hinata exchanged confused glances, clearly not understanding the significance of what Naruto had said.
"anko is it OK if I tell them I mean, they are my fiancé's after all." he said, referring to Hinata and Sakura.
Anko nodded slowly, her eyes flicking between the two girls. Haku watched the scene unfold with interest, her previous worry forgotten. "Go ahead and explain," Anko said, her voice softer now. She knew this was going to be a revelation for the girls, especially Hinata and Sakura.
"Before we start, do you have any idea what a jinchūriki is?"
Sakura shook her head, frowning slightly as she tried to comprehend what she was hearing. Hinata, however, seemed to have a slight idea, her eyes widening slightly as she listened. "No, what is a jinchūriki?" Sakura asked, her voice hesitant.
"It basically means container or holder of a tailed beast. There are nine tailed beast in the world, and they very in strength depending on the tails they have one tails is the weakest and Ninetails the strongest."
Hinata's eyes widened in realization, her hand covering her mouth. Sakura's eyes grew bigger, understanding the implications of what Naruto was saying. Anko watched the girls process this information, her expression serious. "So... Gaara is a jinchūriki?" Sakura asked softly.
"Yep, specifically to the one tails, which is the weakest but still pretty powerful." he said do the two.
Both girls nodded, processing this new information. Hinata bit her lip, looking up at Naruto with concern in her eyes. Sakura frowned, her hands tightening around her basket."So... if Gaara is a jinchūriki, that means she's really strong, right?"
"Yes, but want to know how I know she's one?"
Sakura tilted her head curiously, while Hinata leaned forward slightly, eager to hear the answer. Anko and Haku also listened intently, curious about how Naruto had come to this conclusion."How did you know Gaara is a jinchūriki?" Sakura asked directly.
"because so am I. I'm the container to the nine-tailed fox I could sense tailed beast chakra from her so it wasn't hard to deduce that she was a container."
The room fell silent for a moment. Anko and Haku exchanged impressed looks that he actually told them. Sakura's basket nearly slipped from her hands, and Hinata's eyes filled with a newfound understanding and concern. "Naruto..."
"relax, I have perfect control The reason I'm telling you this is so you don't have to worry about me."
Sakura and Hinata looked at each other, exchanging a cautious glance. They didn't look fully convinced. "Easy to say," Sakura muttered, her voice carrying a hint of skepticism."When was the last time you actually used that power?" Anko asked, raising her eyebrow at him. She didn't trust his confidence.
"During the land of waves when I was attacking Haku, remember." He said to haki with her nodding head, Remembering the monsters Power inside him at that moment.
Anko's eyes widened slightly as she looked at Haku, then back at Naruto. Haku's expression remained calm, but her eyes held a flicker of something—recognition, perhaps understanding. She had felt that power too.
"That was you?" Sakura whispered, her voice barely audible, remembering the terrifying feeling that went into her spine when she felt that power. "The power that overwhelmed Haku so easily... that was the Nine-Tails?"
"Yeah, i'm actually on good terms with him. I just got talk to him every once in a while and he's good. But there's something wrong with gaara's seal."
Hinata leaned forward, her expression showing both fear and curiosity. Sakura looked less skeptical now, more impressed than anything."What do you mean something's wrong with her seal?" Anko asked sharply, sitting up straight. "You can tell that just from meeting her?"
"i'm trying to be a seal master so I can spot things really easily like the bags under her eyes how she is slightly suede there's something wrong with her seal. I think she's not getting enough sleep so my theory is whenever she falls asleep. The one tails takes over and goes on a webpage and I'm guessing none of the ceiling masters at our village know anything about ceiling because they did a bad job at it I should be able to fix it if I'm able to get any close contact with her." (this is actually a lie. I'm using my knowledge of the show. but so I don't sound crazy. I'm using my beginner level seal mastery to convince them.) he thought.
Anko's eyebrows shot up, clearly unimpressed. She scoffed, shaking her head in amusement. "You're just a kid. You don't know what you're talking about." She stood up from the couch, her expression skeptical. "Fixing someone else's seal is something only highly trained sealing master can do."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Do you happen to know a seal master?"
Anko's smirk faded slightly at Naruto's question. She crossed her arms over her chest, looking down at him with a hint of annoyance."No, I don't know any seal masters personally. But even if I did, they wouldn't just hand over their knowledge to some bratty kid."
"This bratty kid is trying to save someone who if they fall asleep in the village will destroy it and I can't go Ninetails to stop her so Maybe stop Treating me like a kid."
Anko opened her mouth to argue, but paused. The logic was sound—a jinchūriki losing control at night would be catastrophic for the entire village. And Naruto was right about the signs: bags under her eyes, the slight swaying, the exhaustion. None of that pointed to simple sleeplessness. It pointed to a seal that wasn't containing properly when she was unconscious.
"But I don't think we have to worry about that for now they wouldn't have brought her here if they didn't have a plan so I guess we have to trust the other village for now."
Anko hummed thoughtfully, leaning back against the couch. Haku nodded in agreement, her calm demeanor unshaken. "True. If the Sand ninja were planning something, they wouldn't have openly threatened you in broad daylight. They'd be subtle about it." She paused, looking at Naruto with narrowed eyes."But what about Gaara herself?"
"I'll try and help her doing the exams if I can."
Sakura nodded approvingly, impressed by his determination. Even Hinata looked encouraged, despite still seeming worried. "You're actually taking this seriously," Anko remarked, sounding almost surprised."I didn't think you'd care about helping someone from another village." She shrugged.
"We're in a similar situation. It's only nice."
Haku smiled softly at Naruto's response, finding his maturity beyond his years appealing. Anko rolled her eyes playfully but couldn't deny his logic."Whatever you say, little man. Just don't go overboard trying to help her. Remember, she's a jinchūriki too."
"fine oh, and by the way Hinata, how was the training with your new fighting style going?"
*Hinata blinked, taken aback by the sudden change in topic. She hesitated beforehand answering, glancing nervously at Sakura sitting beside her. The Pink-haired girl noticed Hinata's apprehension and smirked slightly, knowing that Hinata was self-conscious about her new fighting style.* "It's...going okay,"
"OK, just let me know if you need any help and Sakura how are the jitsu I gave you going?" he asked
Sakura straightened up, pride replacing her earlier nervousness."Actually... they're been amazing. I've been practicing every day." She admitted, her voice carrying genuine excitement. "The chakra control exercises you gave me helped so much. My jitsu are way more precise now." She paused, smiling shyly.
Anko watched the exchange with raised eyebrows, clearly surprised by how much Naruto was assisting both girls with their training. Haku noted how Hinata's confidence had grown significantly since Naruto started giving her exercises. Hinata fidgeted slightly, still processing Naruto's question about her fighting style.
