*The next morning, Naruto woke up feeling refreshed and energized. He quickly prepared himself some cereal before heading out to the academy. His hidden leaf headband was securely tied around his head, and he wore a black jacket over his blue sandals, black cargo pants, and a black undershirt.*
*As he arrived at the academy, the bustling energy of the students and instructors greeted him. Today was the day for team assignments, and excitement mingled with nervousness in the air. Naruto took a seat among his classmates, eagerly awaiting the announcement.*
*Shino, the only person Naruto could truly get along with in the classroom, slid into the seat beside him in the back row. Shino was quiet and observant, often lost in his own thoughts, but he understood Naruto better than anyone else.* "Hey Naruto," Shino whispered softly.
"Hi Shino."*Shino gave Naruto a small nod in response. The two of them sat in comfortable silence, waiting for the sensei to begin the team assignment process. Naruto's eyes wandered around the room, taking in the various students and their interactions. Suddenly, the sensei entered and called for attention.*
"Good morning, everyone!" Iruka sensei's voice boomed through the classroom as he stood at the front. "Today is the day we've all been waiting for - team assignments! I've carefully considered each of your skills and personalities, and I believe I've come up with some excellent combinations." *He paused, holding up a stack of papers.*
*Iruka Sensei began calling out names, announcing the team assignments. Students moved around the room, gathering with their new teammates. Naruto listened intently, hoping he'd be placed with someone he could work well with. Suddenly, Iruka called out his name.*
"Naruto Uzumaki," Iruka said, his gaze landing on Naruto. "You'll be in Team 7, along with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha." *A murmur ran through the classroom. Sakura beamed with excitement being with Sasuke, while Sasuke nodded seeing Naruto as a worthy person to be on his team.*
(just like I thought, even if I was better than the original, I would still be placed in the same team.) thought Naruto
*Naruto hid a small smile, realizing that despite his improved skills and techniques, the team assignments hadn't changed. It made sense - after all, the original Naruto had been placed on this team for a reason, and perhaps this was part of his destiny.*
*With the team assignments complete, the students began to move around the room, finding their new teammates and introducing themselves. Sakura rushed over to Sasuke, her face flushed with excitement.* "Sasuke-kun! We're in the same team!" *She squealed happily, completely ignoring Naruto.*
" everyone wait here your sensei will be in here shortly to pick you up."said Iruka
*Iruka Sensei's words prompted the students to settle down and wait patiently. Naruto stood quietly in the back of the room, observing his new teammates. Sasuke leaned nonchalantly against a wall, his cold gaze meeting Naruto's briefly before looking away.*
*As the other teams left with their respective senseis, the room grew quieter. Only Team 7 remained - Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. The atmosphere was tense; Sakura chattered nervously to herself while Sasuke maintained his stoic expression. Suddenly, the door creaked open again.*
*A figure entered the room, their presence commanding attention despite their casual attire. It was Kakashi Hatake, the legendary copy ninja and their new sensei. His mask covered half his face, his ninja headband, drooped down, covering his left eye, but his right eye was the only thing visible on his face, immediately assessing the three genin before him.* "Team 7,"
"I'm Kakashi Hatake," *he said, his tone casual yet authoritative. His gaze flicked between the three genin, taking note of their expressions and body language.* "and my first depression of you is your idiots."
*Kakashi's blunt assessment elicited a gasp from Sakura and a raised eyebrow from Sasuke. Naruto, however, chuckled softly, finding Kakashi's directness refreshing.* "Well, at least you're honest," he remarked, earning an amused smirk from Kakashi.
"Follow me," *Kakashi said, already turning to leave.* "Our first team activity together."
*Sakura hurried after him excitedly.* "Yes, sensei! I won't disappoint you!" *She shot a glare back at Naruto.* "Let's go get some teamwork started!" *Sasuke followed silently, his hands tucked in his pockets.*
*The team reached the rooftop of the academy, the cool breeze whipping around them. Kakashi stood before the bench where Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto sat. He crossed his arms, his right eye narrowing thoughtfully as he regarded his new team.* "why don't you introduce yourself to me."
" introduce ourselves what do you mean?" asked Sakura.
"I want to know who I'm working with think you like things you hate dreams for the future that kind of thing," *Kakashi replied, his voice calm and collected. He leaned against the railing, his eyes flicking between the three genin.* "Start with you, Sakura." *He nodded encouragingly towards her.*
"Hmph!" *Sakura puffed out her chest proudly.* "I'm Sakura Haruno! The best kunoichi in our class!" *She flipped her pink hair over her shoulder dramatically.* "My dream is to become the strongest kunoichi and marry the strongest ninja!"
*Kakashi raised an eyebrow at Sakura's bold declaration, but he simply nodded.* "Noted," *he said, turning his attention to Sasuke.* "And you, Sasuke?" *His tone was polite but firm, expecting a serious response.* "What are your goals and dreams?"
*Sasuke's eyes darkened slightly as he leaned back against the bench, his arms crossed over his chest. He spoke quietly but confidently.* "I'm Sasuke Uchiha. My goal is simple: to become the strong to kill a certain someone."that's someone being his brother Itachi who killed their entire clan
"Interesting," *Kakashi said, his visible eye narrowing at Sasuke's words. He'd heard about the Uchiha massacre, of course - who in the village hadn't? But to hear it from Sasuke himself, with that cold determination in his voice... it was exactly as he'd expected.* "And what about you, Naruto?" *His gaze finally settled on Naruto.*
"I like training and eating sugar rolls. I don't like waiting dreams for the future. I don't feel like I have to tell you that."
*Kakashi's lips twitched into a small smile at Naruto's straightforward and honest response. It was refreshing compared to Sakura's boastful answer and Sasuke's dark confession.* "Fair enough," he said simply. "At least you know what you like. tomorrow there is going to be a survival exercise of the 27 graduates who just came here only about nine of them will actually be accepted as genin the other 18 will be sent back to the Academy. be at training ground seven at 5 AM and bring your ninja gear if you want to pass oh and you might wanna skip breakfast or you might puke." he said, disappearing in a puff of smoke
*The team sat in stunned silence for a moment after Kakashi's abrupt departure. Sakura was the first to break it, her eyes wide with disbelief.* "Survival exercise?! Only nine of us will pass?!" *She turned to Naruto and Sasuke, panic starting to set in.*
"I'm not worried."*Sasuke's calm gaze met Naruto's unconcerned expression. He nodded slowly, a hint of approval in his eyes. Unlike Sakura, who was already fretting about the upcoming challenge, both Naruto and Sasuke seemed confident in their abilities.* "Neither am I,"
*Sakura looked between Naruto and Sasuke, her worry deepening. She couldn't understand why they weren't concerned about the survival exercise. She bit her lip, her mind racing with thoughts of failure and being sent back to the Academy.* "But... but what if we fail?" *She asked softly.*
"Sakura, you're really the only one who has to Fear failing besides knowing the academy three what other Jitsu do you know I know for a fact Sasuke at least knows the fireball Jitsu so what do you know?Sakura, you're really the only one who has to Fear failing besides knowing the academy three what other Jitsu do you know I know for a fact Sasuke at least knows the fireball Jitsu so what do you know?"
*Sakura's face paled at Naruto's blunt assessment. She opened her mouth to respond, but no words came out. He was right - she had focused heavily on book smarts and theory, but hadn't trained extensively in actual combat techniques beyond the academy basics.* "I... that doesn't matter!" *She stammered defensively, crossing her arms.*
"It's gonna matter tomorrow when you eventually fail." he said getting up and going towards the rooftop door.
*Sakura's eyes widened in shock at Naruto's harsh words. She felt a lump form in her throat as she watched him walk away towards the rooftop door. Sasuke remained silent, his expression unreadable but there was a flicker of something—maybe respect or understanding—in his eyes.*
*As Naruto disappeared through the rooftop door, Sakura couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy and frustration. Why was he so confident? Why didn't he seem to care about her feelings or fears? She turned to Sasuke, her voice trembling slightly.* "Sasuke..."
*Sasuke's gaze lingered on the door where Naruto had just left before shifting to Sakura. He saw the turmoil in her eyes but remained nonchalant. He stood up abruptly, his usual cold demeanor returning.* "What?" *He asked curtly, lacking any empathy or comfort.*
*Sakura blinked back tears, feeling even more alone. She had hoped Sasuke might offer some kind of reassurance or advice. Instead, he seemed as indifferent as Naruto.* "Never mind," she whispered, her voice barely audible. She stood up and walked towards the door in silence.
*As Sakura walked away, Sasuke's expression softened slightly, though only for a moment before his usual stoic mask returned. He sighed softly, his mind wandering back to Naruto's words. He knew Naruto was harsh, but he also knew that the blonde-haired boy was usually right. if Sakura wanted to become a good ninja, she needed to break the fan girl mentality and take training seriously.
Back with Naruto, he transformed into one of the academy students and went into a store to buy some new ninja gear. Normally, they would kick him out if they saw his Real face, but since he's using transform, they don't recognize him. He bought all the gear he would need for going back to his apartment trying to swing back to his normal self.
*As Naruto walked back to his apartment, he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled over him. The interaction with Sakura and the upcoming survival exercise were weighing heavily on his mind. He knew he had been harsh with Sakura, but he didn't regret it.*
*He entered his apartment, shutting the door behind him and leaning against it as he let out a sigh. His thoughts were racing, and he knew he needed to focus. The survival exercise was going to be tough, and he needed to be at his best if he wanted to pass.*
*Naruto glanced at the clock, realizing he had just enough time to organize his gear and get some sleep. As he prepared for bed, he found himself thinking about his teammates again. Despite his frustration with Sakura, he hoped she would surprise everyone tomorrow. And Sasuke...*
*He shook his head, stopping his train of thought. He needed to focus on himself, not his teammates. Tomorrow was going to be tough, and he needed to be ready mentally and physically.*
