The heavens had noticed.
How could they not? The mana, by the standard of higher beings, wasn't a lot. But for a human, it was akin to emptying out their whole reserve of a year and then some.
Every being of nature who knew mana noticed the phenomenon. And those in the upper realm, they noticed the origin.
Mana from that being. One so unwelcoming, it irked even the strongest.
Ever since he went down to the mortal realm, there were multiple times when his mana had gone overboard. Intentionally. To provoke, to warn. Or simply because he was angry.
But this time, the mana wasn't from him. Not directly.
It was from a human. A human from the other world.
A human contained that mana within himself, mixed it with his own and used it. It was clearly an anomaly.
"Are we certain that the vessel is a human?" One asked.
"He is."
"Perhaps the guardianship allowed the vessel to familiarize with the mana," Another spoke.
"That is obvious."
