Lukas was satisfied inwardly. 'As expected, she had become more tolerant toward me.'
After a little hassle, they both came down and Lukas collected all the crystals and tied up some of the loot. He hadn't used the inventory in front of Leah.
They hunted a little more in the area before Lukas decided to head back, "Let's go back through a different route.."
Lukas doubted he would be able to complete his target today, they had wasted a lot of time on the tree. Although, he would do the same if he got the chance too.
The dynamic between them had changed a lot after what had happened. Leah had been trying to avoid talking to him but if he asked something then she would answer.
The usual cheerful personality which she showed to him at the start of their hunt had disappeared. Now her expression looked like a mix of sadness and guilt.
Lukas didn't know if she would stay the same when they met with the others or if she would just show fake smiles for their sake.
