"Waiting long?" Jonathan asked, glancing briefly at Zee.
"Not long. Maybe ten minutes," Zee answered, her hands deftly pulling on her seatbelt.
Jonathan smiled faintly. "So, you're a punctual person." He began to drive, moving through the morning traffic.
"Well," Zee chuckled softly. "For an Indonesian who is supposedly always late, I'd say I'm doing pretty well." She said with a touch of self-deprecation.
"It's rare for me to meet someone who is truly on time," Jonathan remarked, his tone sincere.
"There are plenty of punctual people. Or, perhaps... have you had bad experiences with people who are always late?" Zee probed, her gaze full of curiosity.
Jonathan didn't answer immediately. He just offered a mysterious smirk while focusing on the road. "It seems that might be the case," he admitted briefly.
"Was that bad experience... related to your ex?" Zee asked, her voice slightly hesitant.
