CRACK!
Midnight's whip snapped against the concrete platform, the signal echoing through the stadium like a starting pistol.
Kirishima charged forward immediately. His entire body hardened into red, jagged stone as his Quirk activated at full capacity, and the ground cracked under every heavy step, chunks of concrete flying loose with each impact as he barreled straight toward Momo.
"Here I come, Yaoyorozu!" he roared, flashing a wide grin. "Don't blame me if this hurts!"
Momo didn't panic. Her hands flared briefly as she activated her Creation Quirk, and a massive shield materialized in front of her right as Kirishima's hardened fist slammed into it.
BOOOM!
The impact sent a shockwave rippling across the arena. Momo's feet skidded back several meters, her sneakers leaving two long scuff marks on the concrete as she absorbed the force. The shield held, but the power behind that punch was undeniable.
He's even stronger than I expected, she thought, keeping her breathing steady despite the adrenaline coursing through her veins. A direct exchange won't work. I need to control the pace.
"That shield's tough!" Kirishima exclaimed, shaking out his fist. "But I'm tougher!"
He lunged again, this time loading up a devastating downward strike. Momo rolled aside at the last second, and Kirishima's fist crashed straight into the platform where she'd been standing.
KRAAK!
The concrete fractured in a spiderweb pattern around the impact, but Momo was already moving. Her hands lit up again, and three small spherical objects materialized in her palms.
Kirishima looked up just in time to see her toss them.
"What the...?!"
FLASH!
The grenades detonated midair in a blinding burst of white light. Kirishima stumbled back, throwing his hardened arms up to shield his face, blinking hard to clear the afterimages burned into his retinas.
"Whoa! I can't see a thing!" he shouted, swinging punches blindly in Momo's general direction. "That's not fair, Yaoyorozu!"
"All's fair in hero work, Kirishima-san," Momo replied calmly, already shaping her next tool.
She moved carefully along the edges of the arena, light on her feet. Kirishima's hearing was sharp even while blinded, so she kept her breathing controlled and measured every step.
Come on, just a little closer to the edge, she thought, watching him stumble in her direction, tracking the sound of her previous position.
"YEAAAAAH! WE'VE GOT A POWER CLASH, EVERYBODY!" Present Mic bellowed, the stadium speakers rattling from the volume. "MISS BRAINPOWER YAOYOROZU IS PUTTING HER GIANT BRAIN UP AGAINST THE STEEL FISTS OF MANLY KIRISHIMA! IT'S A CLASSIC! PURE STRATEGY VERSUS BRUTE FORCE, LISTENERS! WHO'S GONNA TAKE THE GLORY THIS AFTERNOON?! START!"
Midnight purred into her microphone, dragging the whip slowly through her palm with a lazy smile. "Mmm~ I love watching a brilliant mind in action. Yaoyorozu's composure under pressure is absolutely delicious. And Kirishima's determination... how manly! This is getting me fired up!"
Aizawa's dry voice cut in. "Focus on the match, Kayama."
"I AM focusing, Eraserhead! Can't I appreciate the art?"
Down on the platform, Kirishima's vision was starting to clear. He blinked rapidly, squinting as his surroundings came back into focus just in time to see Momo standing twenty meters away with something bulky materializing from her torso.
"What is that thing?"
Momo detached the finished device and aimed it at the ground near Kirishima's feet. It looked like a sleek, modified industrial launcher, all metal and angles.
"My apologies in advance, Kirishima-san," she said.
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
Three canisters fired out of the device in rapid succession, arcing through the air before hitting the concrete around Kirishima's position. They burst on impact, releasing a thick foamy liquid that spread across the floor in seconds.
"What the heck is this gunk?!" Kirishima gritted his teeth, trying to step back, but his boot sank straight into the expanding mass. "Ugh, it's sticky as crap! This isn't manly at all, dang it!"
The foam solidified almost instantly, pinning his feet in place like industrial adhesive. Kirishima strained to pull free, but the hardened polymer held firm.
"This is a high-density polymer foam," Momo explained, already shaping her next tool. "It solidifies in seconds and has a tensile strength capable of containing even augmented physical force. You won't break it in time."
"Tch!" Kirishima grunted, pulling harder. The foam cracked a little, but it didn't give. "Hey, this stuff really is tough! You came prepared, huh?!"
"It would be disrespectful to do anything less," Momo said sincerely.
Then she raised the second device she'd created: a bulky, industrial compressed air cannon, the wide barrel aimed directly at Kirishima's chest.
Kirishima's eyes went wide.
Oh, crap.
"W-wait...!"
The compressed air blasted out of the cannon in a concentrated shockwave. The force slammed into Kirishima square in the chest and sent him flying backward, still trapped in the block of hardened foam. He tumbled across the platform, unable to control his trajectory.
CRASH!
His body hit the ground just past the white boundary line, the foam block shattering apart from the impact.
"OUT OF BOUNDS!" Midnight declared, cracking her whip dramatically. "The winner is MOMO YAOYOROZU!"
The stadium erupted in cheers and applause.
"OH MY GOD! THAT'S INCREDIBLEEEEE!" Present Mic screamed into the mic, blowing out the speakers. "YAOYOROZU JUST TOOK DOWN ONE OF THE TOUGHEST, MANLIEST GUYS IN CLASS 1-A! AND SHE DID IT WITH STRATEGY AND SCIENCE, EVERYBODY! THAT IS THE POWER OF A BIG BRAIN, LISTENERS! YEAAAAAH!"
Kirishima sat up slowly, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish grin. "Man, that was awesome! You got me good, Yaoyorozu!"
Momo walked over and held out her hand to help him up. "You fought admirably, Kirishima-san. Your endurance is truly extraordinary."
"Nah, you were just smarter than me!" he said, accepting her hand and pulling himself to his feet. "That foam trick was sick! I couldn't move for nothin'!"
"Thank you for an excellent match," Momo said with a small bow.
As she stepped off the platform, she glanced toward the waiting area where Ren was sitting. Their eyes met for just a second, and he gave her a subtle nod of approval.
I did it, she thought, her heart still racing. I won with a perfect strategy, and now...
A faint blush colored her cheeks as the realization settled in.
Now I get to go somewhere with Ren. Just the two of us.
"AND NOW, THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!" Midnight announced, swinging her whip overhead with a radiant smile. "TENYA IIDA VERSUS RIKIDO SATOU! THE THRILL OF SPEED AGAINST THE BURNING POWER OF STRENGTH! COME ON, BOYS, SHOW ME THAT EXCITING YOUTH AND TELL ME WHO'S TAKING HOME THE GLORY! BEGIN!"
Iida stepped onto the platform with his usual rigid posture, his hands moving in sharp chopping motions as he addressed his opponent.
"Satou-san, I trust we shall have an honorable bout!" he declared. "Let us both give our absolute best!"
Satou grinned and pulled a small wrapped candy from his pocket, popping it into his mouth right away. His muscles immediately began to swell as the sugar activated his Quirk, veins standing out on his arms and neck as raw strength flooded his body.
"Don't worry, Iida!" Satou said, his voice deeper now. "I'm gonna give it everything I got!"
"BEGIN!"
Satou rocketed forward with terrifying speed for someone his size, the concrete cracking under his feet as he closed the distance in a single instant. His fist came down straight toward Iida's head.
Iida's engines roared to life.
He shifted aside and Satou's punch smashed into the ground where Iida had been standing a fraction of a second before.
BOOM!
The concrete shattered, leaving a crater the size of a car tire. Satou looked up just in time to see Iida circling around his left, moving so fast his outline blurred.
"Hold still!" Satou shouted, throwing another devastating punch.
Iida dodged again, always just out of reach.
Up in the stands, Ochako leaned over to Ren.
"Iida-kun isn't even trying to counter!" she said, confused. "What's he doing?"
"He's waiting," Ren replied, watching the match with focused eyes. "Satou's Quirk has a time limit. The more sugar he burns, the stronger he gets, but it only lasts a few minutes before his body crashes. Iida's smart enough to know that."
"So he's just... running away?"
"He's conserving energy while Satou wastes his," Ren corrected.
Down on the platform, Satou was starting to breathe hard. His punches still carried weight, but they were getting slower now, his movements losing precision as the sugar wore off and exhaustion caught up to him.
Come on, just one hit, Satou thought desperately, throwing another punch. I just need to land one good shot!
But Iida was already five meters away, repositioning again.
"Satou-san!" Iida called out. "Your Quirk is impressive, but I cannot afford to take a single hit! I must end this decisively!"
His engines glowed brighter, blue flames bursting from the exhausts.
RECIPRO BURST!
Iida vanished.
One second he was in front of Satou, the next he was behind him, moving faster than Satou's sugar-dulled senses could track. Iida pivoted on his heel and delivered a powerful kick to the center of Satou's back, channeling all the momentum of his enhanced speed.
WHAM!
Satou stumbled forward, arms windmilling as he tried to catch his balance. But his legs were already too heavy, his coordination shot, and he couldn't stop his own forward momentum.
He pitched face first out of bounds.
"OUT!" Midnight declared. "The winner is TENYA IIDA!"
"A VICTORY AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT!" Present Mic roared. "IIDA DIDN'T GIVE SATOU A SINGLE OPENING! THAT'S THE POWER OF SPEED AND STRATEGY COMBINED!"
Iida walked over and offered his hand to Satou, helping him up courteously.
"An excellent effort, Satou-san," Iida said formally. "Your strength is truly formidable. I was fortunate to outmaneuver you before you could land a decisive strike."
"Nah, man," Satou said, shaking his head with a tired smile. "You were just faster. I couldn't catch you."
As both competitors left the platform, the tension in the stadium started building again. The screens above the arena lit up with the names of the next contenders.
"AND NOW, LADIES AND GENTLEMEEEEN!" Present Mic's voice exploded through the speakers, rattling the seats. "WE'VE REACHED THE FINAL MATCH OF THE FIRST ROUND, EVERYBODY! AN UNEXPECTED CLASH OF POWERS! WE'VE GOT THE FORCE OF THE MIND VERSUS THE POWER OF ACID! TELEKINESIS VERSUS CORROSION! MAKE SOME NOISE, LISTENERS, AND GIVE A BIG WELCOME TO... REN HAYASHI VERSUS MINA ASHIDOOOOO! YEAAAAAH!"
The stadium erupted in cheers as both names appeared on the giant screens.
Mina came bouncing down the stairs toward the arena with contagious energy, doing a little spin as she stepped onto the platform. The cameras caught her mischievous grin perfectly.
Ren walked up from the opposite side, hands in his pockets, expression neutral.
They met in the center of the platform. Mina leaned toward him with a teasing smirk.
"So, Hayashi-kun," she whispered, just loud enough for the nearby mics to catch, "are you gonna carry me the same way you carried Inko-san during the obstacle race? 'Cause I gotta say, that whole princess rescue thing was pretty gallant."
The crowd burst into laughter and applause.
Up in the stands, Inko's face turned completely red.
"MINA-SAN!" she shouted, jumping up from her seat. "Don't say things like that in front of everyone! It's embarrassing!"
"Sorry, Inko-chan!" Mina called back, sounding not the least bit sorry. "But it's true, right?! He rescued you from a nasty fall! It was super romantic!"
"MINA!"
"So what's it gonna be, Hayashi-kun? Do you only carry pretty green haired princesses, or are you gonna get serious and actually fight me?"
More laughter rolled through the stands.
Ren sighed, shaking his head with a faint smile.
She really doesn't know when to stop, does she? he thought. Fine. If she wants to play, I'll teach her a lesson she won't forget.
He smiled back, his expression gentle but his eyes glinting with mischief.
"I'll carry you," he said easily, "straight to the infirmary once I'm done with you."
"Oh, cocky!" Mina bounced on her heels. "How about we make it interesting? Loser buys the winner pastries. Deal?"
"Deal."
They walked to their starting positions on opposite ends of the platform. Mina stretched her arms over her head, still grinning. Ren stood completely still, his face unreadable.
Midnight raised her arm high.
"READY?!"
Mina crouched slightly, acid already beginning to drip from her fingertips.
Ren's eyes narrowed as he extended his telepathy, slipping into Mina's mind. Her mental defenses were practically nonexistent, her thoughts bright and energetic and completely exposed.
He found the nerve endings responsible for physical sensation and carefully amplified them.
There. That should make everything way too tempting.
"BEGIN!"
Mina moved instantly, releasing a stream of acid from the soles of her shoes that let her glide across the concrete at high speed. She shot forward with impressive agility, her hands already glowing with corrosive liquid as she prepared an attack.
Let's see you dodge this, Hayashi-kun! she thought confidently.
Ren stayed completely still, watching her approach. To any spectator, it looked like her speed had caught him off guard.
But in reality, he was activating his telekinesis.
His invisible force extended outward like phantom hands, reaching the lower half of Mina's body. He'd planned to create friction between her clothes and her skin, using the fabric of her underwear to stimulate her in a way that would make her lose her balance.
The moment his touch made contact with the area beneath her gym shorts, however, Ren froze.
Wait.
He extended his perception more carefully, feeling the contours of her body through the telekinetic field.
There was nothing there. Underneath, she was completely bare.
She isn't wearing anything under her shorts?!
Apparently, Mina had decided to skip underwear entirely, probably for better mobility and to avoid chafing during fast movements.
Well, he thought, a slow smile curling at the corner of his mouth. That makes this so much easier.
He adjusted his grip instantly, letting the invisible force slide underneath and make direct contact with her exposed skin.
Mina was halfway across the platform when the sensation hit her.
Her eyes flew open and her mouth let out a choked gasp as the feeling exploded through her hypersensitive body. The acid stream she'd been preparing veered harmlessly to the left, melting a chunk out of the arena floor as her aim went completely off.
W-what... what is this?!
Her legs buckled. She managed to catch herself at the last second, planting a hand on the ground to keep from collapsing outright.
"Ashido stumbles!" Present Mic's voice rang out. "What happened?! Did Hayashi hit her with something?!"
Ren's invisible touch pressed against her clit and started moving in slow circles.
"Ngh...!" Mina bit down hard on her lip to keep from moaning.
Her face flushed a deep crimson that clashed with her pink skin. She tried to push herself upright and launch another attack, but her knees were trembling too much.
What the hell is he doing to me?!
"Something wrong, Ashido?" Ren asked innocently, taking a step forward. "Are you okay?"
No, I'm not okay, you bald bastard! Mina thought desperately. What the fuck are you doing to me?!
But she couldn't say it out loud. Not in front of thousands of people.
She tried to move forward again, but Ren's telekinetic fingers didn't stop. They pressed harder, circling faster, and the sensitivity amplified by his telepathy made every brush feel a hundred times more intense.
Her Quirk responded automatically to the arousal flooding her body.
Mmmmh...! Is this...?
The pink lubricant she'd discovered weeks ago started producing on its own, slick and viscous, coating the insides of her thighs and making every movement that much more unbearable. The fluid acted as the perfect conductor for Ren's stimulation, letting the invisible touch glide effortlessly across her most sensitive spots.
Mina bit her lip hard, trying to muffle the moan rising in her throat.
This isn't fair! It's totally not fair!
She launched another acid attack, aiming straight at Ren's feet this time. But before it could reach him, an invisible force deflected the stream to one side, sending it splashing harmlessly against the concrete barrier.
"Nice try!" Ren said, raising his hand as if he'd used his telekinesis to block the attack.
His telekinetic touch slid lower, following the trail of pink lubricant now pooling between her legs. An invisible finger pressed against her entrance, testing the resistance.
It slipped inside effortlessly, the lubricant making the penetration smooth and frictionless.
"NGH!" Mina's knees gave out again, and she had to brace both hands on the ground to keep from collapsing entirely.
The crowd gasped.
"ASHIDO'S IN TROUBLE!" Present Mic shouted. "HAYASHI'S TELEKINESIS MUST BE HITTING HER HARD! LOOK HOW RED HER FACE IS! SHE CAN BARELY STAND!"
That's not what's happening at all! Mina thought frantically. Her whole body was shaking as Ren's finger started moving inside her.
But she couldn't say anything. All she could do was clench her teeth and try to endure the overwhelming pleasure threatening to consume her.
Then Ren did something that whited out her vision completely.
A second telekinetic finger pressed against her other entrance, the one she even hesitated to touch during her private experiments. The pink lubricant had spread there too, coating everything, and the finger slipped inside with disorienting ease.
"AH...!" Mina's cry got cut off when she bit down on her own hand to smother the sound.
The double penetration, combined with the relentless stimulation of her clit, was too much. Her body convulsed violently, her legs trembling so badly she could hardly hold herself up.
The pleasure built and built, a wave she couldn't stop no matter how hard she tried.
Not here, not in front of everyone!
"MMMPH!" She bit down harder on her hand, eyes screwed shut as wave after wave of intense pleasure crashed through her body.
Her legs gave out completely and she collapsed onto the platform, shaking and gasping for air. The pink lubricant was visible now, soaking through the fabric of her gym shorts in a dark stain that was impossible to miss.
Ren walked over calmly, releasing his telekinetic grip while Mina lay on the ground past the boundary line, still trembling from the residual spasms.
"OUT OF BOUNDS!" Midnight declared, though even she sounded a little confused. "The winner is REN HAYASHI!"
The crowd erupted in cheers, though the confusion was still palpable.
Ren crouched down next to Mina, who was struggling to catch her breath. Her yellow eyes looked up at him weakly, her face still flushed deep pink.
"That was... so... unfair...," she whispered hoarsely, barely audible over the crowd.
"You wanted me to take it seriously," Ren said softly, a faint teasing smile on his lips. "I took it seriously."
"You're a... bastard...," Mina muttered.
Ren leaned down to scoop her up into his arms, princess style. Mina's eyes flew open and she let out a small squeak of surprise.
"What are you...?!"
"Taking you to the infirmary," Ren said matter of factly, walking toward the exit with her in his arms. "You can barely stand. I'm not gonna leave you on the ground."
Mina's face went even redder, if that was possible.
She bit her lip, trying to suppress another shudder as a late aftershock rippled through her body.
"This is... so embarrassing...," she whispered into his shoulder.
"You'll survive," Ren said.
As they left the arena, Mina was still trembling, her face buried against his chest to hide her expression. Small aftershocks made her hips twitch periodically.
"Looks like I carried you after all," Ren murmured.
"That's...," Mina gasped between ragged breaths, "...so unfair... bastard..."
"You started it."
Present Mic's commentary kept rolling, but Mina wasn't listening anymore. She was too busy trying to keep her body from shaking with residual pleasure while everyone assumed she was just worn out from the telekinetic assault.
No one could ever know she'd just had the most intense orgasm of her life in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
Ren carried her toward the medical area. Mina finally pulled her face away from his chest enough to look up at him weakly.
"You're buying me pastries," she whispered. "A lot of them, after this."
"Pretty sure you lost the bet."
"I don't care. You owe me for... for that."
"What? I just used telekinesis."
"Liar," she hissed. "You knew exactly what you were doing."
Ren's smile widened a little.
"Yeah, of course I knew. But someone needed to put you in your place."
Mina bit her lip as another small tremor went through her. She buried her face against his chest again, her cheeks burning.
Recovery Girl was waiting at the medical station with her usual stern expression. One look at Mina's flushed face and trembling limbs was enough to make her sigh.
"Overexertion again," she grumbled. "You young ones push yourselves too hard. Set her down on the cot, young man."
Ren laid Mina carefully on the medical cot. She immediately curled up on her side, still trying to control her breathing.
"I'll be fine," Mina managed. "I just... need a minute."
"You need to rest," Recovery Girl scolded. "Stay here at least through the next match."
Ren turned to leave, but Mina's hand shot out and grabbed his wrist.
"Hey," she whispered, making sure Recovery Girl couldn't hear. "Next time you decide to get that bold... give me a heads up first."
"Where would the fun in that be?"
She squeezed his wrist tighter, though most of her strength was gone.
"I'm serious. That was... way too intense."
"Did you hate it?"
Mina's face went even redder and she looked away.
"...No," she admitted in barely a whisper. "But that doesn't mean you can just do whatever you want, you pervert!"
"Fair enough."
Ren gently pulled his hand free and walked toward the door. Right before stepping through it, he glanced back at her over his shoulder.
"Oh, and Mina?"
"What?"
"Maybe consider wearing underwear to these kinds of events. Just some advice."
Her eyes flew open in mortification as it hit her that he'd known the whole time.
"GET OUT OF HERE, YOU PERVERTEDLY!" she shrieked, hurling a pillow at him with whatever strength she had left.
Ren walked out laughing, closing the door behind him just as the pillow bounced off it harmlessly.
Inside the medical room, Mina covered her face with her hands and let out a long groan.
I'm never gonna live this down.
