Before the first drop of blood could hit the floor, Uri moved far too quickly for someone who was supposed to be pretending he was human.
He even forgot to hold his disguise in place - something that was simply a tiny, inconsequential piece of celestial magic that he kept active at all times.
All of it fell away when he darted forwards and tackled Kai to the ground, simultaneously covering him with his wings to soften the blow and wrenching the blade out of his hand to throw it aside.
Kai simply used a free hand to attempt to claw at the wound so the blood would drain faster.
Uri heard himself make a primal, desperate sound and pinned his arm above his head, swiftly grabbing the other and sending an immediate layer of celestial energy into the wound.
