Rosaline was pulled outside by Louis.
They left the casino, putting on a united front despite the war brewing behind them.
The moment they were out of sight, Rosaline yanked her hand away.
"What do you want? You psychopath! You've ruined everything again—"
"Quiet."
Louis raised a finger and pressed it lightly against her lips.
The rest of her words died in her throat.
His touch was brief.
Cold.
Yet somehow it sent an uncomfortable warmth through her chest.
Rosaline immediately slapped his hand away.
"I gave you five minutes."
Louis looked completely unapologetic.
"Get in the car."
"What?"
"I needed five minutes to get you out."
He opened the passenger door.
"And five minutes to talk."
Rosaline stared at him.
The audacity.
The absolute audacity.
For a second she considered kicking him.
"Get into the front seat," he repeated.
Rosaline folded her arms.
"Scared I'll strangle you from the back seat?"
A faint smile tugged at Louis's lips.
"No."
"Then why?"
His gaze dropped briefly to her stomach before returning to her face.
"Because I'd rather have you beside me."
For some reason, that answer annoyed her even more.
"You're impossible."
"And yet you got in."
Rosaline opened her mouth.
Then closed it.
Because annoyingly enough—
he was right.
The car stopped by a field.
"Why are we here!?" She asked impatiently.
"You feel like an open space is not convenient, I didn't know you love bedrooms so much" he said to her, with smiling eyes.
Causing something to ignite in her.

Her hair stood on end.
Face red with embarrassment.
"I swear I will kill you!!". She added.
She seemed really angry and Louis seemed unphased by that.
He placed his hands in his pocket and the breeze blew his hair.
Rosaline gulped and turned her face away so he wouldn't notice she was staring.
But he did notice.
And decided not to say anything.
"What do you want?" She asked him.
"Why are you still around me?"
"I feel like I shouldn't leave you" he said.
Rosaline frowned.
"I don't need you" she said.
"I'm creating a better life for me and my son and you're excluded-
"By joining the Black Snake, is that a better life?" He snapped at her.
"How does that concern you I-
"He's my son too" Louis answered with a hint of emotion.
Impatience flashed past his eyes.
"I'm keeping him safe" Rosaline fired.
"Nonsense!!" He yelled.
Rosaline shrieked at his tone.
"You just walked into death, keeping him safe you say" he muttered.
"You think I'm the villain right?" He said in a calm tone.
"Yes she nodded, you're the biggest villain of all time" she answered sharply as she walked closer to him.
"You're making a big mistake" he lectured.
"You're not my guardian Louis Grey, I can do whatever I want, and I'm keeping him far away from you, you keep saying I'm making a big mistake like you're a saint yourself, like you know everything-
"And you know nothing" he replied.
"Then tell me what I don't know Louis I am not a child!" She yelled.
"Why did my parents die!" She yelled.
"Why are you doing this! What do you want!!"
Louis looked at her and took a step forward.
"If I tell you, you won't be able to handle it" he said to her.
"That's why i want to stand in my own, whatever you're hiding I know you're scared of secrets being exposed Louis" she replied.
"Well I'll tell you why they died, it's because they were supposed to die, anyone who holds the Red box is already a dead man walking" Louis answered out loud.
Rosaline paused.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked him.
"Well that's if someone did not blow their cover" he added dropping the bomb.
He looks into her eyes and her facial expression changes.
"Are you trying to say, someone my dad trusted sold him to the Scorpions" she asked.
Louis says nothing.
"Family members can be irrational sometimes" he hinted.
"You should be careful Rose" he continued.
"Don't forget I'm not the only villain" he added turning away and leaving her with her thoughts.
"What are you telling me" she said to him.
"You want revenge, Rose I'll give you a little tip, someone hires a hitman to harvest a soul who do you think is the big Villain, the one who did the job or the one who decreed it" he said.
All the puzzles in Rosaline's head began to work.
