The car stopped by the Red Royals casino and Louis steps out of the car.
The place was decorated lavishly and there was a faint music coming from the building.
"There seems to be a party" Reinald said.
"That's even better" Louis said to them and he was about to walk in.
"Are we really going in?" Ashley asked him.
"You know this is the...Black Snake's turf" she continued.
"Where's the fun if it's not the enemy's turf" he replied lazily.
"I really do miss the old boss seems like he's back" Ashley whispered to Reinald.

Inside the Casino.
There really was a gathering.
Rosaline waited in the inner private room she was wearing a red suit with a black tie.
She looked at herself in the mirror as she put on her the red and black beret with a lace at the edge.
She remembers the past and how she was treated.
Those last words.
"It's better not to have something you know won't last"
She clentched her fists under the black leather gloves.
Then she puts on the mask.
The door opens slightly.
"Rose are you ready?" Came a familiar voice.
It was Michael.
Rosaline sighs and hatred flashed past her eyes.
"I'm ready"
"Are you sure-
"I am, I'm creating a name for myself" she immediately cut him off.

In the main hall.
Felix stood tall and mighty standing on the little stage in his red and black suit.
"Fellow brothers and sisters, at last we gather again" he said with a smile.
"For thirty three years we have stood tall and cherished the clan of the Black Snakes and fought to keep it standing.
Though it all costed something precious to us, people we loved and cared about we still fought unconditionally for power and we will not fall into the hands of the black snakes" he continued.
"We're as near as destroying the Scorpions more than our ancestors, tonight we reunite with our lost member, brothers and sisters I give you the black viper" said Felix.
Rosaline walks out majestically she didn't mind her bulging tummy it was covered properly with the thick clothes she wore inside and the whole crowd was silent that moment and you could hear some whispering.
"Good evening brothers and sisters, it's an honor to be amongst you" Rosaline greeted humbly.
"You brought a new recruit without asking us" And elder yelled.
"She's not just any person she's my sister" Felix gritted.
"I feel like my decision is objected" he continued.
"I disagree" the man said.
"You disagree" Felix said with a smile.
"My decision doesn't concern you, it's how my father wanted it and I can't ignore
his wishes, listen Levi if you feel like it's a wrong decision then you might just get out of the way" Felix said pointing a gun at the man's head.
"For the record if you die, your precious family is going down to hell with you" Felix threatened.
"I agree!" The man replied, thinking about his dear wife and kids at home.

The hall immediately fell silent.
Rosaline stepped forward.
Hundreds of eyes followed her every movement.
Some were curious.
Some were doubtful.
Others looked at her with outright hostility.
A woman carrying a silver tray approached. Resting on the tray was a ceremonial dagger engraved with the symbol of a serpent.
The elder picked it up.
"State your name."
"Rosaline Anderson"
"Do you acknowledge the authority of the Black Snakes?"
"I do."
The elder handed her the dagger.
"Then seal your oath with blood."
Rosaline wrapped her gloved fingers around the blade.
Without hesitation, she removed one glove and dragged the edge across her palm.
Several drops of blood splattered onto the white parchment below.
The elder nodded approvingly.
"Repeat after me."
Rosaline lifted her head.
"I swear loyalty to the Black Snakes."

"I shall place the clan above myself."

The words lingered in the air.
Rosaline paused.
For some reason, Louis's face flashed through her mind.
His smile.
His touch.
The way he looked at her when they were alone.
Then she remembered her parents.

Her gaze hardened.

The crowd erupted into applause.
Felix's smile widened.
"From this day onward, Rosaline Anderson shall be recognized as the Black Viper!"

The chant shook the hall.
Felix grabbed Rosaline's hand and raised it into the air.
The doors suddenly burst open.

The sound echoed throughout the casino.
The cheering died instantly.
Every head turned.
Several guards rushed forward and drew their weapons.
A slow clap echoed from the entrance.

A tall figure stepped into the light.
Black suit.
Cold eyes.
Dangerous smile.
Louis Grey.
Behind him stood Reinald, Ashley, and a dozen armed Scorpions.
The room froze.
Felix's expression darkened immediately.
"What are you doing here?"
Louis ignored him.
His eyes found Rosaline almost instantly.
She stood on the stage, blood still dripping from her injured palm.
The sight made something dangerous flicker across his face.
For a long moment, neither of them spoke.
Then Louis glanced at the oath parchment.
At the Black Snake emblem.
At Felix standing beside her.
A lazy smile appeared on his lips.
"I heard there was a gathering."
Felix cocked his gun.
"And?"
Louis slid one hand into his pocket.
His gaze never left Rosaline.
The entire hall held its breath.
Then he said calmly,
"I came to see my wife."
The world seemed to stop.
Rosaline's heart skipped.
Felix's grip tightened around his gun.
And every person in the casino suddenly realized they were standing between two storms that were about to collide.
