Alpha: The most powerful and respected people. They can be male or female and can impregnate omegas. They can overpower others with their pheromones. They are the ones at the top of the hierarchy.
Beta: They are just normal humans, representing only 40% of the population now. They don't smell pheromones nor experience special symptoms like the other two secondary genders.
Omega: The most cherished symbol of motherhood, love and devotion. However, they are treated as frail and fragile dolls. And most don't treat them well because they only see them as baby-making machines.
✨ Other information:
Rut: It's a cycle where an alpha feels the urge to mate with an omega. Or just have sex, letting their animal instincts run rampant. It can last from one to three days.
Heat: It's a cycle for omegas where they need to get off. Their pheromones go out of control. If any alpha is near them, their rut might also be triggered. It can last for two to four days.
Pheromones: It's a scent that releases when you see someone you are attracted to seduce them. It's a biological response that can be controlled, or not, depending on one's own personality. However, it can also happen when they encounter someone who is in rut or heat.
Marking: If an alpha bites an omega's neck, they claim that the omega is theirs. One can only ever mark one partner at a time unless they remove the mark from the omega's body. It often causes the omega to lose their mind or worse—result in death. The omega could or could not consent to it, often creating a toxic relationship between the two.
