Just as the mist began to envelop Poplar Town.

"Mr. Wallace, something seems wrong."

Wallace's assistant, Saori, walked up to him and spoke.

Wallace looked puzzled as he followed her out of the Spear Pillar.

He watched the mist drift out from the cracks overhead, blanketing all of Poplar Town.

"All the signals have disappeared."

Saori said beside Wallace.

Wallace took out his phone to check; indeed, there was no signal.

"It looks like things are getting a bit bad."

Wallace looked at the mist before him. Altaria floated by his side, and his white cape billowed in the wind as he stepped onto the bridge.

He had tried various methods, but he simply couldn't figure out what was going on with the mist.

Even as a League Champion, he was completely helpless against the mist before him.

"W—Wallace, I've found out."

Saori came to Wallace's side and said.

"A local scholar says this is something called a 'Dimensional Wall.' According to him, once a Dimensional Wall forms, bad things will happen."

Wallace furrowed his brows. "Dimensional Wall?"

Initially, he was still in the mood to joke.

"Saori, why don't you go back to your room and take a nap? Maybe everything will be better when you wake up."

But in the next second, the commotion from above left him dumbstruck.

"Get out!"

A black figure charged straight into the air, throwing a Dark Void toward a seemingly empty space.

Just as the Dark Void was about to hit, a silhouette appeared in that spot, followed by its true form manifesting. It blocked the Dark Void, then slashed out with sharp claws.

"Palkia?!"

Wallace was pale with shock.

"It's over, it's all over. Mr. Wallace, they were right. Something truly terrible has happened."

Saori's voice was thick with a sob.

Wallace grabbed Saori and ran until they returned to the house where they were staying.

"Wait here for now."

Wallace let go of her hand and then walked outside.

"Mr. Wallace, aren't you going to hide?"

Wallace's figure paused for a moment, then he continued walking out.

Standing at the door, watching the battle between Darkrai and Palkia in the sky, Wallace let out a breath.

"This really is a bad business."

Wallace hopped onto Altaria's back. Feeling a familiar presence, he turned his head and saw Cynthia and Garchomp standing on a rooftop.

Wallace had Altaria fly over and then jumped down from its back.

"Champion Cynthia, it looks like the Pokémon Contest will have to be delayed."

Wallace had mostly recovered his composure and spoke to Cynthia with a smile.

Cynthia raised an eyebrow and gestured for Wallace to look over.

Wallace looked in the direction Cynthia was pointing and saw that a despair-inducing blue figure had appeared in the sky at some point.

Dialga.

Had officially arrived on the battlefield.

Wallace watched Palkia and Dialga brawling in the sky.

His body began to tremble slightly.

"This really is a rather desperate situation."

Wallace said.

Cynthia remained unmoved, her eyes fixed intently on Palkia and Dialga in the sky.

Wallace glanced at her and then started laughing.

As expected of the Sinnoh Champion, Ms. Cynthia. Compared to her, he seemed a bit lacking.

Wallace thought.

"Champion Cynthia, what should we do now?"

Hearing this, Cynthia withdrew her gaze and looked at Wallace. "Stopped shaking, Mr. Wallace?"

At Cynthia's teasing, Wallace truly laughed. "No more shaking. If I keep shaking, I'll lose my Champion's poise."

"Champion Cynthia, you are truly admirable."

Wallace said sincerely.

"I am the Champion of the Sinnoh region."

Cynthia spoke, while also looking at the people running frantically in the streets.

"From the moment I accepted the title and honor of Champion, I was prepared—prepared to fulfill a Champion's duties."

Wallace looked at the street; people were already beginning to direct the crowds and maintain order.

"A Champion, huh?"

Wallace muttered to himself.

"Steven, now it's my turn to fulfill my duties as Champion."

Wallace said quietly in his heart.

"So, Champion Cynthia, what should we do?"

Hearing Wallace's words, Cynthia pointed her finger. Wallace followed her gaze and saw Darkrai being besieged by Palkia and Dialga.

"Help Darkrai hold off Palkia and Dialga."

Cynthia's voice was incredibly firm and left no room for doubt.

"Following Lucas's request, I've sent Ash and the others to find the legendary oración, which is said to calm rage and hatred. Until they play the melody, we need to work with Darkrai to hold back Palkia and Dialga."

Wallace nodded.

"Alright."

Wallace seemed to think of something. He turned to Cynthia and suddenly asked, "Champion Cynthia, may I ask, you and Lucas..."

"Hmm?"

Cynthia turned to look at him, looking puzzled.

"...How far have things progressed?"

Wallace nodded vigorously.

Cynthia didn't hesitate for a second. "I'm waiting for him to defeat me."

Wallace suddenly understood.

So that's what Lucas is worried about.

I feel a bit sorry for you, Lucas.

Wallace said with a laugh in his heart.

Overhead, Darkrai was hit by Dialga and sent flying backward.

Wallace reached out and stroked the feathers on Altaria's wing.

"It's an honor to fight alongside you, Champion Cynthia."

Wallace said.

"Altaria, Dragon Pulse!"

Altaria fired a powerful Dragon Pulse from its mouth, aimed straight at Palkia.

Palkia, busy fighting Dialga, didn't react in time and was hit directly by the Dragon Pulse. It cried out in pain, and Dialga seized the opportunity to slam into it, sending it flying.

"Garchomp, Draco Meteor!"

Countless meteors rained down on Dialga, but Dialga breathed out a powerful Time Beam, destroying all the meteors.

Darkrai emerged from behind it and struck with a powerful move, while Palkia crashed into Dialga.

Dialga crashed heavily onto the path Ash and the others were taking.

Dialga stood up, looked at Ash and the others, and began charging energy in its mouth.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

Dialga's charging was interrupted by the Thunderbolt, and it let out a cry of pain.

Dialga: ?!

"Garchomp, Dragon Rush!"

Garchomp slammed into Dialga, fully displaying the strength of the Sinnoh Champion's ace.

Dialga skidded backward.

"Go, quickly."

Ash and the others looked up and saw Cynthia standing on the rooftop.

Ash nodded and continued running as fast as his legs could carry him.

Garchomp struggled to dodge the beams fired by Dialga.

On the other side, Altaria was already covered in wounds.

Facing Palkia, Altaria was under immense pressure.

Above Poplar Town.

Lucas looked at the giant crater on the ground.

"Mesprit, do you have a way? Let me in."

The Lake Guardians looked at each other, and finally, Azelf spoke: "This is a Dimensional Wall. We can only help you find the weakest point. Ultimately, you'll need to use your power to shatter it and cross through."

Lucas nodded. "Then I'm counting on you."

The Lake Guardians nodded and then began to spin in circles.

Feeling the wooden plaque on his chest growing hotter, Lucas's breathing became heavier.

There was movement from the Poké Balls, and Lucas felt as if he were being embraced by Lilligant and the others.

We are with you.

Lucas felt the feelings conveyed from the Poké Balls.

His anxious mood began to calm down slowly.

"Lucas!"

Azelf's voice rang in his heart.

Lucas saw a barrier.

"Lugia, are you ready?"

Lugia's light chuckle echoed in Lucas's heart.

Of course.

"Lugia, Aeroblast!"

Lugia was enveloped in a mysterious power.

Then, like a divine bird descending to earth, it slammed fiercely into the barrier.

Watching Lucas and Lugia disappear before them, Mesprit and the others closed their eyes and placed their hands over their chests.

"Lucas, come back safely."
