Amidst the chaos, Kuro was a ghost. Using [Invisibility], she bypassed the thrashing necks and materialized directly on the snout of the pinned right head. Standing squarely between the Golem's freezing grip and the Wyrm's chaotic eye, she reversed her grip on her daggers.
[Assassinate] triggered. Shink-Shink.
Both shadow-forged blades sank to the hilt directly into the creature's right eye. The Wyrm released a sound of pure, unadulterated agony, its thrashing redoubling. The Golem tightened its chokehold, its crystalline muscles groaning under the immense strain.
"The right head is breaking!" Nathan called out. "Elise, prime the freeze!"
But the Golem was out of time.
The gigantification enchantment violently flickered. The colossus rapidly destabilized—thirty feet, twenty, fifteen. The radiant heat of the boss was eating it alive. The Golem's grip finally failed, and the right head wrenched itself free with a triumphant, deafening roar.
