Chapter 3 - unknown man

On the other hand, as soon as the man standing in front of Genia saw her face, he himself screamed in fear, "Aah..."

Seeing the man shout, Genia, who had been lost in his beauty until then, suddenly came back to her senses. She felt a little disappointed, thinking that the man was frightened by her face. She asked softly, "Why are you shouting yourself now? Just now you were telling me why you were shouting like this?"

Genia thought to herself, "I have seen many men before, but I have only read about such a handsome man in some comic. But such an ugly face of mine came in front of such a handsome man, and he got scared after seeing my face. If this continues, no man will like me or come close to me. I don't even know when I will be able to go to my world, or how I will go back. Like this, I will always remain alone. I don't know why God has sent me to this strange world, and if he has sent me, then he has given me such an ugly face."

Then Genia thought of something and said to herself, "Oh yes, I forgot that. Because of my experience as a veterinarian, I can survive in this world and even if no man comes to me, so what. I can live on my own! I don't need any man to survive?"

Genia's eyes sparkled with joy at the thought. As she spoke to herself, Genia's expressions were constantly changing, a fact the man was keenly aware of. He had come back to his senses after hearing Genia's question. He didn't know how to respond to the girl sitting in front of him. Although he had seen her face the night before, when he'd picked her up, he hadn't expected her face to be so ugly.

Seeing her, he couldn't help but scream in fear. He was the one who had brought the girl here last night after she had fainted. He had found it amusing when she was beating those men after they had fainted. So when she had left that place, he had followed her silently and silently. While following her, he felt something was wrong, and after going a little distance, the girl also fainted. So he had brought her here so that the man could not find her again.

But he couldn't understand why the men had tied the girl's hands or where they were going to take her. He had thought he would question her when she regained consciousness, but her screams frightened him, causing him to fall asleep and fall from the tree. When he saw the girl sitting on the lakeshore, he approached her and questioned her. But he didn't know that seeing her face would frighten him.

He regretted bringing her here and was thinking of sending her away. Hearing her question, he glanced at her in various directions, and her expression changed instantly, surprising him. Her face was unattractive, but her eyes held a unique sparkle. That sparkle seemed to overshadow her ugliness.

The man said to Genia, "I didn't expect your face to be so ugly. If I had known this, I wouldn't have brought you here."

As soon as Genia heard that this man had brought her here, she snapped out of her thoughts. She looked at the man and asked him in surprise, "You brought me here, but why?"

Hearing Genia's question, the man looked into her eyes and realised that the girl sitting in front of him was much more alive than her ugliness and was drawing him closer. Thinking this, he quickly shook his head and replied, "Last night I saw you knocking some men unconscious and kicking them. After that, you left from there. But after going a little distance, I found you unconscious at a place. That's why I brought you here, because I saw you stealing their valuables. But I don't understand why you knocked them unconscious and stole their belongings?

However, the man didn't tell her that he had seen the men carrying her away, tied up and had followed them. That was the real reason he had brought the girl here.

Hearing the man's words, Genia became a little startled and said softly, "I knocked those men unconscious to save myself. They were going to sell me to a tribe. That's why I kicked them after knocking them unconscious."

Hearing Genia's words, the man looked at her with surprise and said, "But looking at your face, it doesn't seem like they will gain anything by selling you. Then why would they sell you?"

Hearing the man's question, Genia's face suddenly turned sad, and she said softly, "My father had asked them to sell me to a dangerous clan so that I could help give that clan an heir."

Genia felt tears welling up in her eyes as she spoke. She touched her eyes with her fingers, and a teardrop landed on her fingertip.

Genia looked at the tear in surprise. She wasn't crying, but tears were still flowing from her eyes. She thought to herself, "So this is the pain the real owner of this body felt. Now that I'm in her body, I can feel her pain too, and I can't stop the tears from flowing from my eyes."

Genia didn't know how the original owner of this body died and how she came to be in its place. But she still didn't know how to find the answer to this question.

The man looked at Genia after hearing her words. He wasn't sure if what the girl sitting in front of him was saying was true. However, when he saw her sadness and the tears welling in her eyes, he didn't believe she was lying.

But before he could say anything, Genia stood up and turned to walk away from the pond, but she didn't know which way to go. So she stood there, wondering which way she should go to get out of the forest.

When the man saw Genia upset, he asked her, "What are you looking at?"

Hearing this question, Genia said without looking at the man, "I want to find a way out of this forest, but I don't know which way is out of this forest."

Genia herself didn't know why she was telling the man everything. If she stayed here a little longer, she might end up revealing everything about herself to him.

When the man heard Genia's words, he said to her, "I can show you the way out of this forest, but on one condition?"

Hearing the man's words, Genia turned towards him in surprise and asked, "Condition? What kind of condition?"

She didn't know what kind of condition the man would put before her. If he gave her a condition she couldn't fulfil, she would never be able to get out of this forest.

The man took two steps towards Genia and said to her, "If you would tell me how you made those men unconscious?"

Hearing his question, Genia replied calmly, "It's not a big deal. All I needed to make them unconscious was a herb used to make rabbits unconscious. I easily found it on the way."

Genia said all this casually, but she didn't know that such a simple statement held profound significance in the world of human animals, where millions of human animals died every year without treatment. Female human animals were the most numerous because they didn't receive timely treatment during childbirth. Even if someone in one clan knew about an herb, it took a long time for them to reach another clan.

The man thought to himself, "If this girl knows how to make a rabbit animal unconscious, does she also know how to treat other human animals?"

Thinking this, he said to Genia, "Actually, my friend was attacked by a tiger, and we don't have time right now to call someone from another clan who knows about herbs and can treat his wounds. Can you tell me about any herbs that I can use to help my friend recover?"

Hearing the man's words, Genia thought to herself, "Maybe this is why this man wants to know how I knocked those rabbit-humans unconscious? If I help this man save his friend, I might be able to make some arrangements for my stay."

With that, she said to the man, "If you take me to your friend, I can examine him and help you heal him!"

Hearing Genia's words, the man said to her, "Can you really cure my friend?"

Genia nodded and replied, "Yes, I can help you cure your friend? Just in return, you get me out of this forest?"

After listening to Genia, the man thought for a while. He wasn't entirely sure if the girl standing in front of him could truly heal his friend. Moreover, if the people of his tribe saw her face, they might be frightened.

But he really didn't have enough time to bring someone from another clan who knew about herbs? He was actually going to find someone like that to save his friend, but on the way, he saw this girl and rescued her and brought her to this place. It was too late now, and his friend couldn't wait any longer! He had no choice but to take this risk. He said to Genia, "Okay, but first you have to cover your face. I don't want the people of my tribe to be scared by your face!"
