Chapter 300 - GAM Ch 300: Illidan Stormrage Meets a Cat

Illidan Stormrage

Jet-black hair. Demonic wings. Two meters tall. Pointed elven ears. Long, curved demonic horns.

Illidan Stormrage was a hybrid of night elf and demon.

As the twin brother of his sorry-ass brother, Malfurion Stormrage, his life had been a tragedy.

He had fallen in love with Tyrande Whisperwind, his childhood sweetheart, but she ultimately chose his brother.

Heartbroken and consumed by the war against the Burning Legion, Illidan through a series of coincidences, embarked on a very different path.

He absorbed the power of fel energy, joined the Burning Legion as an ally, and aimed to destroy them from within.

Since he acted alone, his family naturally misunderstood him.

Illidan also had a complicated history with Maiev Shadowsong, the Warden. The two shared a love-hate relationship for many years, ultimately ending in Illidan's death in battle.

There were too many stories for Garfield to remember. He was simply curious how this blind man had ended up here.

Ignoring Illidan for the moment, Garfield nimbly darted to the Ancient One's lap and expertly hugged her leg.

He rubbed against her.

Then let out a cute little whimper.

Ancient One, familiar with her apprentice's antics, skillfully picked Garfield up and tossed him aside.

Although Illidan was blind, his senses were razor-sharp. He had sensed Garfield's arrival immediately and perceived him as a dangerous beast.

He had been wary at first. But sensing the Ancient One's casual, practiced handling of the cat, Illidan relaxed considerably.

Just a pe*, he thought.

Garfield, having been tossed aside, ran right back to the Ancient One's lap and hugged her again.

He whimpered.

Illidan looked down at Garfield, then up at the Ancient One. "Master Ancient One, is this your pet?"

*Pfft!*

The Ancient One spat out a mouthful of tea. "No. My apprentice."

Illidan "???"

Garfield whirled around and glared at Illidan.

He let out a fierce roar. "Blind man! You're the pet! I am King Garfield Odinson! You will call me Your Majesty!"

"King?" Illidan looked disdainful. "Just a cat. Do you rule over other cats?"

Garfield crossed his arms and puffed out his chest. "I am a king who rules over hundreds of billions of people across an entire world."

"A king with Star Destroyers. My billions of robot legions could flatten your world with a single F2+A. Hmph!"

A world. Hundreds of billions of people. Billions of robot legions.

That was unimaginable in Azeroth, where a war was fought with barely ten thousand troops.

"Cat," Illidan said slowly, "you're bragging."

Of course I'm bragging!*The Star Wars universe wasn't his. He had been subtly and tactfully driven back by the will of the Force.

Hmph.

"I also have an army of super Transformers. Believe me or not, I'll blow up your planet!"

Hearing Garfield's boasting, the Ancient One reached out, grabbed his cat ears, and gave them a hard tug.

"Stop bragging. Go to Europe and find Hela. Before she goes crazy and ruins history."

Garfield broke free from the Ancient One's grasp and hugged her leg again. "Master, I was rejected by the consciousness of a certain universe!"

"It subtly sent me back. I'm so heartbroken! My hard-earned fleet that was supposed to sweep across the universe… gone!"

Slap.

"I know your 'mysterious ways.' You caused trouble in someone else's world, seriously disrupted the course of fate, and got expelled, didn't you?"

Garfield lowered his head, looking aggrieved. "It was just an accident."

"The main problem was that the opponent was too weak. Not even as good as the apprentices we train..."

In short, he threw all the blame at Palpatine.

"Give me the Eye of Agamotto. Go to Europe. Find Dumbledore and Hela. But I suggest you see Frigga first."

The Ancient One didn't wait for Garfield to respond. She directly reached out her hand.

"Okay, Master."

Garfield spat out the Time Stone from his mouth and handed it to the Ancient One.

Then he opened a portal. Before leaving, he turned back.

"Master, that blind man is really wicked, you know? He confessed to his sister-in-law while his brother was away."

"And then he dumped a girl who had been chasing him for tens of thousands of years—"

A fel arrow flew from Illidan's hand.

Garfield immediately closed the portal and left without another word.

After Garfield left, the Ancient One apologized to Illidan.

"I'm sorry. My apprentice is quite mischievous, Mr. Illidan Stormrage."

Illidan shook his head. "Your apprentice is very powerful. Just a little... mischievous."

"Oh, by the way, about that self-proclaimed Dark Lord in our world—"

"I understand. Do you have any ideas?"

The Ancient One replied, "Your information is too limited. I cannot accurately determine the other party's origins."

"How about this, I will find suitable personnel to investigate your world first. Then we can make a decision."

Illidan had nothing to say but nod. "Thank you, Archmage."

The Ancient One said, "You're welcome."

"Fighting darkness is the responsibility of every generation of sorcerers. It is only natural to lend a helping hand to a neighbor in distress."

As Illidan sat across from the Ancient One, his form began to dissolve.

Soon, his entire body transformed into a ball of green energy, which was then sucked into a tiny spacetime tunnel.

After the green energy was completely absorbed, the tunnel vanished.

"A small spacetime tunnel..." The Ancient One murmured to herself. "The multiverse is getting more and more complicated."

"But my apprentice always gives me many surprises. It seems I will have to leave the investigation of Azeroth's changes to him."

Achoo!

After leaving Kamar-Taj, Garfield realized he had forgotten to ask where Pandora had gone.

The door he opened was near the Leaky Cauldron in London. He didn't know where Frigga lived, so he decided to get a drink first.

He walked to the Leaky Cauldron, pushed open the door, and went inside.

Due to the war in the ordinary human world, which was closely tied to Grindelwald, the wizarding world was also in turmoil. The usually crowded pub was almost empty, save for two or three hooded wizards.

The pub owner, Old Tom, was dozing off at the bar. His snot bubble expanded and contracted with each snore.

Garfield walked to the bar, jumped onto it, raised his paw, and aimed at Tom's hed.

"Aguamenti."

A jet of water poured out, instantly soaking Old Tom from head to toe.

The splash woke him immediately.

"Who did that?!"

"Tom, your bar is leaking!"

"Oh, wait a minute!"

*His* bar was supposed to be a *magical* bar. How could it leak?

Hahaha.

The atmosphere had been tense. The few guests had been silently watching Garfield since he entered. Seeing him prank Old Tom like this, they couldn't help but laugh.

It also proved that Garfield and Tom were familiar. An outsider wouldn't do something like that.

As Old Tom gradually came to his senses, he saw Garfield.

He gave the cat a very strange look.
