Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: Bonds

You have spoken, and I have heard. The direction of this fic will go with majority rules, and ALL (yes, all) of you have Dman's near-same brain. And I fucking love it, so shout out to y'all. It has been decided that this fic will be a polyamorous pairing between Lucius, Enid, Wednesday, and a few other girls from different verses, including One Piece, since y'all wanted a mix of both worlds. Furthermore, the Wednesday verse will be buffed to a certain extent, so Lucius doesn't just like murder…all of it, but he will still be OP. I'm trying to write him OP and keep the story interesting, like JinWoo, etc.

And finally…Haki will be added; we're going to expand THE SHIT out of this story. I'm talking outside of Jericho; Crackstone will be AU alongside some storylines, including our favorite goth family. I realized not a ton of fics actually do anything with the Admas outside of canonical themes, even more so when I realized that almost no male MC in any Wednesday story I've read had any relationship with Puglsy or any of Enid's brothers. But that's enough of my yapping for now; I'll make another auxiliary chapter for stuff like this when I feel the need. But I have one request…please, please, please comment during the chapter or at the end.I realized that, as much as I appreciate the power stones, I love y'all's comments more. It genuinely motivates me to put out more chapters than power stones, Kudos, or favorites, if you're reading on AO3 or Fanfiction.net.

Anyways, please enjoy this chapter, Bonds.

Please let me know if I should set up a Patreon and release early chapters and other stories there.

"No,"

"Yes,"

"Nope,"

"Yep,"

"I'm not doing it…"

"Oh, but you very much are. You don't actually have a choice; it's a requirement: every student at Nevermore must participate in an extracurricular. In this case, clubs." Weems stood before a frowning Lucius with a smile on her face.

Staring at the slightly taller woman, arms crossed, his expression set in a scowl, Lucius kept his gaze locked with hers in a staring contest. Minutes passed, and neither of them moved or broke eye contact. Lucius felt his eye twitch in annoyance; Weems seemed to have turned into a statue with a smirk plastered on her face.

"Fine…which one?" He asked, huffing at her,

"The choice is up to you; we have options ranging from fencing and archery to botany and beekeeping. As long as you pick one to actively participate in, you'll have fulfilled the requirements." Weems said, handing him a small pamphlet from her desk, "I'd personally recommend one of our more outdoorsy clubs for you. Something calming to help you control your temper."

"I don't have a temper," Lucius gave her an annoyed look,

"Sure you don't." Weems took her seat. "I swear you and Mrs. Addams are like two peas in a pod; you'd think I asked you both to pull your teeth out." She sighed.

"Meh meh meh," He mocked, placing the pamphlet back down and taking a few sniffs of the air before turning and walking towards the exit. "I'm doing the beekeeping thing. Seems like the easiest; they're basically 100% self-sufficient."

Weem's mouth curled into a knowing grin. "Wonderful choice, I'll put it in the registry for you," she said as he walked out of the office, sliding the door behind him.

Lucius walked the halls of Nevermore, following the scent of pollen and honey his nose caught; it was hard to distinguish from the scent of the hundreds of girls wearing sweet perfumes at the school, but the distinct sound of hundreds of buzzing wings helped him discern the direction. Turning a corner, he smiled slightly as the sound of soft rushing footsteps hurried behind him, and a familiar heartbeat he'd come to enjoy pounded in his ear. He waited until the last possible second, waiting until he could feel her right behind him reach for his head before— "Hello Enid,"

A disappointed and annoyed huff sounded from behind him as Enid stomped to stand in front of him, crossing her arms and pouting in a way that caused the smirk on his face to soften into a smile.

"How do you know every time?! I know you've got good senses, but they can't be that good, can they?" She asked, glaring up at him with a mix of annoyance and curiosity

He chuckled. "Unfortunately for you, they are that good. Better luck next time."

"Yeah, well, I've been trying for almost three days, and you catch me every time, so fat chance."

"Then you shouldn't have made that bet the day we met; you've only got 2 days left until the Harvest Festival, Lupa," Lucius said, patting her head condescendingly,

Enid batted his hand away with a huff, but the smile she was biting her lip to try and suppress gave her away, " She-Wolf? That's the nickname you chose, Lulu?" She grinned; she'd come up with that during their first interaction in the quad

"God, I hate that…" his eye twitched, but his smile didn't dip,

"I know," Enid chirped, before coming to stand at his side, "So, where are we headed?"

"We?" He raised a brow, moving forward as she fell into step, "I'm headed to the beekeeping club. I decided to join since apparently I need to join a club to stay here."

"Oh, really? That's cool, I bet Eugene will be happy to have someone else join him," she commented, with a hum.

"Eugene?"

"Yeah. He's the president and sole member of the ummm…Hummers!"

"Wait, the beekeeping club is called "The Hummers," you're kidding, right?" He stopped, and she whirled to face him with a teasing smile

"Nope, congrats, Lulu. You're going to be a hummer," she poked him in the chest and looked up into his eyes, "But…you could always join one of my clubs…," she grabbed the lapel of his blazer and began dragging him through the halls towards a back exit to the school grounds, "But since your got your poor heart set on being a hummer I'll get you there quicker, we'll go past the archery field,"

"No! I don't wanna be a hummer," He said with false horror, causing her to giggle as they made their way along a wide paved path running through the grass fields of the school's backyard,

As they walked through the field, Lucius caught his thoughts drifting to the bubbly werewolf. Enid was…odd, not in a bad way, of course, but. Refreshing

After losing his parents and having to endure the constant scrutiny of his family, he'd isolated himself the best he could; the only people who wouldn't let him be alone were his household staff who'd looked after him since childhood and refused to let him drown in loneliness despite his best attempts; Enid reminded him of those times; she was a whirlwind of color and sound someone who refused to ignored.

During their talk in the quad. When he'd realized just how…easy it was to be comfortable around her and how he'd begun to open up. He tried to pull back into himself, something she hadn't allowed to happen. She followed him around for hours, peppering him with questions and filling the silences with her endless chatter when he refused to answer.

And eventually, like almost everyone else. Lucius Draven was sucked into a hurricane- Enid—something he found himself enjoying more and more. The emotional freedom that being around her gave felt nice.

"Wednesday!" Enid called, pulling him from his thoughts. Looking up, he saw Wednesday walking towards them from the archery field, where he could see a dejected Xavier staring at a target with a single arrow embedded in its bullseye.

"Enid, Lucius." Wednesday nodded her head,

"Hey! How's the club search going? Any favorites so far?" Enid asked, bouncing up the pale-faced Latina

"No." Came the single-word reply

"Bummer. Why not come with us to check out the beekeeping club? I think you'd like it."

Wednesday gave Enid a scathing look. "You also thought I'd like the colors on your side of the room more if I looked at them enough, but all that managed to do was give me a rash."

Lucius pressed his lips together tightly and looked away, trying not to let out a chuckle

Enid and Wednesday both shot him a look that made him clear his throat.

"Ignoring him…" Enid turned back to Wednesday. "This is different; the hummers are like the least popular club in school. They only have 1 official member, and the clubhouse is in a secluded sector of the grounds; that totally sounds like your ascetic."

Wednesday hummed, clearly thinking it over, glancing between the two of them, "And I guess g you're looking to join this beekeeping club?" she asked Lucius

"Yeah, it seemed like the least bothersome of the clubs." He sighed before noticing the look she was directing at him, her unblinking eyes seeming to search his face for something. "What?"

She blinked, turning away, "Lead the way, Enid."

Lucius was about to question her when Enid squealed excitedly and began dragging them both deeper into the grounds.

They walked for a few minutes, Enid filling the silence with seemingly endless questions towards her, more silent companions.

"And then they had the nerve to kick me out! I mean, I get it, you two are besties, but spending that much alone time together can't be healthy for you—Oh! There it is!" Enid said, pointing to a modest shack with a pitched roof.

Lucius and Wednesday stopped beside her, exchanging silent looks with each other at the underwhelming structure, before Enid's urging, they began walking towards the entrance.

Lucius knocked on the door lightly before pushing it open slightly, "Hello? We're looking for Eug—"

He paused halfway, staring in bewilderment at a younger student who was standing in the middle of the shed with his pants off and a beehive held in his hands.

After a few beats of uncomfortable silence, the boy raised his hand in a shy wave. "H-hi…I-im Eugene…nice to meet you?" His voice cracked a bit at the end.

His only response was the unblinking stares of two neutral-faced teens and the sound of hinges creaking as Lucius slowly pulled the door closed again.

The soft click of the door shutting was the only sound in the area for a long while before Lucius opened his mouth, turning to Wednesday, "T—"

"Don't."

"Yeah, okay."

They stood there in quiet silence, and the sound of crashing and curses could be heard inside the shed before the door burst open and the boy stumbled out, thankfully fully dressed now.

"So…you do that often or…" Lucius began, "Not that I'm judging, but I was planning on joining this club, and I'd like to know exactly what I'd be signing up for."

Eugene flushed red, but before he could answer, Wednesday spoke: "It was honey."

"What?"

"He spilled honey on himself, and he was changing," she said calmly, looking at Eugene for confirmation

The younger boy rapidly began nodding his head, "Y-yes! She's right, it was honey. I just spilled some when I was moving the hives and—"

"If that's what happened, you don't need to explain anything else. I'm Lucius, and this bag of smiles beside me is Wednesday. We were interested in joining the beekeeping club."

"Stop talking," Wednesday said, giving him a sharp glance before stepping forward.

Lucius smirked and lifted his hands in surrender.

"Is it true you're the only member of this club? Is daily attendance mandatory? How often do people come around here?" Wednesday asked in rapid succession.

Eugene swallowed under the goths' unblinking stare and nodded his head. "Yes, I'm the only member, and I'm here every day because I'm the only one looking after the hives, but with three of us, you wouldn't have to stop by every day. And almost no one comes around here. The less noise, the better the bees can roam and pollinate."

Wednesday considered this for a moment before nodding, "Then you've just gotten two new members."

Lucius tilted his head, "I haven't—"

"Well, you two can't just join. First, you two have to pass a test." Eugene said his face going serious, "What happens when you don't kill the Black Fatalis in your battle with it?" he stared at both of them.

"What?" Wednesday asked incredulously, "What kind of——"

"It becomes a red Fatalis." Lucius butted in with the answer.

"Correct! Welcome to the Hummers! Now…"

Eugene launched into a rapid explanation about something neither of them was paying attention to right now, and Luxius used the opportunity to lean close to Wednesday, "You're welcome. You totally wouldn't have gotten that answer. "

"You—shut up. I would have been fine." She whispered back sharply.

"Oh yeah? What game was the question referring to?"

"——" she glares up at him from the corner of her eyes, "I know where you sleep at night."

"You say that like you'd be able to do anything with that information," he smirked

"Are you three done yet? Free period's almost over, and I'm getting hungry." Enid's voice cut through as she left where she'd been waiting for them.

"Yes. I believe we're finished." Wednesday said, nodding at Eugene before turning to walk to her waiting roommate.

Lucius sighed and stuck his hand out to the younger teen, "It was nice meeting you, man."

Eugene looked at the hand with slight surprise before he smiled, taking it and shaking with enthusiasm.

"You too."

*Nevermore Nighttime*

Lucius stood outside on the roof balcony, looking out at the stars. Replaying the day in his mind, his relationship with Enid and the budding…whatever it was with Wednesday was one thing; they were girls, hot ones, and he was a teenager, so of course he'd be drawn to them in some way, but his friendships with Xavier and Ajax were what caught him off guard. He enjoyed their company; they were chill and fun to hang out with, and they didn't annoy him, like it seemed 80% of all living things he came across did nowadays. Nevermore was changing him, the easy interactions with new people, the willingness to NOT be secluded in his room like some NEET, the way he felt a smile tug at his lips whenever Enid looked up at him through her lashes, or Wednesday would send him a sharp but meaningless glare.

And most recently, Eugee Ottinger. He could barely remember anything from his past life. Each day he woke up, he forgot something different, and he became less and less of a transmigrator and more of a person who just lived in this crazy world. But today, when he'd seen Eugene, when he'd observed how he acted…a face flashed through his mind, one without a name, but it had still made his heart ache, and one word ran through his mind on a loop…brother.

"I had a baby brother…" he said, voice so soft it was carried away in the night's breeze. He felt his eyes sting at the thought.

"Fuck…I'm a mess. After everything…I can still cry like this…" He sighed and pulled his phone from his pocket, and after opening the contacts, he scrolled until he found the name he was looking for.

Taking in a breath, he hit the call button and placed the phone to his ear,

"Hello? I know it's getting late, but…would you mind if we talked? I think I need some help…"
