Their meaning was simple.
Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki had to give them an explanation.
Otherwise, she would bear the consequences.
After all, when Kaguya betrayed the clan, the Ōtsutsuki main family had not only been furious—they had been deeply humiliated.
Back then, they had sent Kaguya and Isshiki to Earth to plant the Divine Tree. Once the Chakra Fruit matured, they were supposed to return to their homeworld and present it to the clan's higher-ups.
But what happened?
Kaguya coveted the Chakra Fruit for herself.
She killed Isshiki, swallowed the fruit alone, and used her supreme power to shift Earth's position in the universe.
By the time the Ōtsutsuki main family reacted, it was already too late.
For all these years, the main family had searched for Kaguya's trail, but with little result. They had found almost no usable clues about Earth.
Now Momoshiki and the others had finally located it.
They had expected Kinshiki and Urashiki to return victorious with the Divine Tree's fruit.
Instead—
reality had slapped the Ōtsutsuki clan across the face.
Kinshiki and Urashiki were dead.
And they had died without even getting the chance to flee.
That was like a bucket of cold water poured directly over the main family's heads.
With nowhere else to vent their anger, they turned it all on Momoshiki.
Their message was clear:
if she could not give them a satisfying answer, then things would not end peacefully.
"This…"
Facing the furious elders, Momoshiki looked utterly confused.
She opened her mouth, wanting to speak, but no words came out.
It was still the same problem.
She had never expected Kinshiki and Urashiki to be this useless.
If they couldn't win, couldn't they at least run?
With their strength, as long as they truly wanted to escape, even a Kaguya who had consumed the Divine Tree should not have been able to stop them.
And yet—
both of them were dead.
So now, the elders' fury had fallen on her.
"Wait…"
A thought suddenly flashed through Momoshiki's mind, and disbelief appeared on her face.
"It may not have been Kaguya who killed Kinshiki and Urashiki."
Fortunately, Kinshiki and Urashiki were already dead.
Otherwise, if they had known Momoshiki was thinking this, they might have coughed up blood from rage.
Who could have known Earth had produced such an absolute monster?
The Fifth Hokage, Uchiha Ren, had simply killed them cleanly.
It wasn't that they hadn't wanted to run.
They had been too weak to escape.
"Momoshiki, give us an explanation immediately!"
"Kinshiki and Urashiki are dead. Kaguya has slapped the face of the entire Ōtsutsuki main family!"
"This cannot be tolerated. Kaguya's crimes are unforgivable!"
Seeing Momoshiki's expression change again and again, the elders of the main family began shouting coldly once more, their fury filling the meeting hall.
Bang!
But at that moment—
Momoshiki, who had been silent until now, suddenly stood and slammed her hand onto the table.
"Shut up!"
Silence.
The meeting hall fell completely still.
The elders froze in their seats, staring at Momoshiki with stiff expressions.
How many years had it been?
How many years since anyone had dared speak to them like that?
And Momoshiki had just told them to shut up.
That was no different from spitting in their faces.
"Momoshiki, are you trying to rebel?"
After a long pause, one of the elders finally reacted. Suppressing his anger, he pointed at her and snapped,
"When did you become qualified to speak to us like that?"
"Has every stray dog started thinking it can climb onto our heads?"
Another elder folded his arms and added coldly,
"If you don't give us an explanation, you will bear the consequences."
The other elders, after recovering from their shock, did not speak.
But their gazes all settled on Momoshiki.
They wanted to see what she was planning.
Kinshiki and Urashiki's deaths had already enraged them.
Now Momoshiki was acting as if she wanted to rebel.
So they would see just how far she intended to go.
"Kinshiki and Urashiki's deaths were beyond my expectations."
Momoshiki swept her eyes across the elders, her expression icy.
"But no matter how you look at it, the fault does not lie with me."
She paused, then spoke more sharply.
"Do you truly believe Kaguya has the strength to kill both Kinshiki and Urashiki?"
"If she possessed that kind of power, would she have hidden herself for so many years?"
"You mean…"
The elders froze.
Then, as if struck by a sudden realization, they fell into thought one after another.
None of them were fools.
With Momoshiki's reminder, they immediately considered another possibility:
perhaps Kinshiki and Urashiki had not been killed by Kaguya.
It sounded absurd.
But it made sense.
Kaguya's strength had limits.
Even after consuming the Divine Tree, she should not have been able to grow strong enough to kill Urashiki and Kinshiki so completely.
Then there was only one explanation.
Earth had another high-level combatant.
But…
was that really possible?
For a time, the Ōtsutsuki elders fell silent.
