Zeke asked lazily, running his eyes up and down the Emperor's frame.
"Without heels," Zeke added quickly, narrowing his eyes at the monarch's traditional footwear.
Japanese heels, according to Zeke's mental lexicon.
The Emperor turned his head, a flicker of genuine annoyance crossing his features the moment he heard Zeke's voice. But when the words "without heels" fully registered, his neck snapped around with alarming speed.
"I'll have you know this height has absolutely nothing to do with my footwear."
"Take 'em off then," Zeke challenged, pointing a aggressively blatant finger directly toward the Emperor's crotch. "Because I'm reasonably sure the inches you'll lose from your stature will be significantly bigger than what you're packing down there."
The Emperor gasped dramatically, drawing himself up. "Impudence! You dare question the Empresses' choice in a man?"
