Fifty years ago, a shower of meteors descended from the skies.

Sliding on the ground for a few seconds, the duo finally came to an abrupt halt as they watched the dust settle from the explosion the Tribrid had just caused.


Chloe rushed out from her hiding spot to check on the two with an obviously worried look on her face. 


Reaching out his hand, Ray dispelled his golden lasso from the beast's body with a tired sigh.


"Are you both okay?" Chloe questioned as she reached the two.


Frowning, Ray sat upright and scowled at Trisha. 


"Ask your damn friend why the hell she was losing composure in the middle of the fight? Why were you so zoned out that you didn't even notice a scythe was heading your way?!"


Trisha blinked for a few seconds and slowly sat upright too, but she didn't even look in Ray's direction. 


"What? You won't talk? In case you have forgotten, that was a damned King-rank beast. 


And we wouldn't have won if we didn't cooperate together.
