"That woman is crazy to say that. Who can get things they desire in a fucking hotel room?" I was ranting to myself.
Anyone in my place would think it's stupid, some type of trick to trap me. I did too, but there I was, stomping towards the hotel room, I was sent to as well.
I swiped the keycard, and knocked on the door three times, before the door unbolted.
I was shaken to my feet, my eyes dilated. A man was standing before my eyes–a tall man. He was paler than white itself. His eyes were sharp in the color, brown, yet soft like his supple skin.
Suddenly, he pulled me in, giving me yet another shock, under my feet.
"I've been waiting for you. What took you so long?" He sat me at the edge of the bed, and knelt at my feet. The door was still ajar.
I kept glancing back and forth, from the door and then to his puppy eyes, looking up at me. I was speechless.
"T-the door." I stuttered, pointing at it.
"Oh, I got so excited seeing you. I'm very sorry." He quickly got up and closed the door. He returned like a hopping puppy and knelt back, putting my palm onto his cheek.
He nuzzled into it, and whined about how, it was so gut wrenching to wait for me. Then, he said, "I heard about your breakup."
"You did?" My tone altered, flat, as well as my eyes.
"I'm not trying to offend you. I'm just–he was a prick to deny your request. I would've jumped on to fulfill it."
