*Back to the present*
Klein and Amaera stood in the center of the tent, their mouths locked in a deep kiss. Their memories had returned, but instead of separating them, it brought them even closer. They both knew they had fucked up badly, that this whole mess was equally their fault. And yet, that only made the contact more necessary.
He lifted her gently by the waist and carried her. Amaera wrapped her legs around him, her hands in his hair, pulling just enough to show she wanted more. They kissed more slowly now, more deeply, as if rediscovering each other's taste after far too long an absence. Klein laid her on her back with care, his massive body covering hers without crushing it.
He slid his hands over her hips, moving up under her tunic to caress her bare skin. Amaera sighed against his mouth, a long low moan vibrating between them.
