Ten years ago, Tiamat had caused a similar scene to help Sona and Rias find familiars after he contracted Tiamat.

After looking for a while, Hana chose a Moonlight Bear with golden fur all over its body.

"I'll call you Koguma." Hana said to the bear cub.
And so, Hana's familiar was chosen.
On the other side, Issei, bare-chested, was smiling a bit pervertedly, but that wasn't the point. The point was that he had found the familiar he wanted.
That's right, it was the pink slime in his hand.
He even named the slime Slime-taro.
This pink slime had a green slime relative. However, because it only corroded girls' clothes, Abel had Tiamat exterminate it. This pink one, on the other hand, only corroded boys' clothes.
Now, only Genshirou remained.
Genshirou was walking aimlessly when he suddenly seemed to sense something and walked in a certain direction. In a patch of grass, he discovered a purple-black egg.
"Is this what's attracting me?"
Genshirou was about to pick up the egg but as he touched it, cracks appeared on the eggshell, and then a small snake, entirely purple-black, broke out of the shell.
The small snake flicked its tongue, its purple eyes fixed on Genshirou, and then it affectionately coiled around his arm.
"Looks like I found it." Genshirou whispered, gently stroking the small snake's body, and the small snake comfortably narrowed its eyes.
"Then it's time to meet up with President Sona."
Then Genshirou walked back along the route he came from.
And so, the familiars for all four were decided.
