Chapter 22 - Trouble is Near

Time flew by, and soon it was another weekend.

It was already afternoon.

The commercial street was bustling with people. Laughter and joy never ceased on this commercial street.

"Hello, this is for you."

"Oh, thank you."

"Would you like to know more?"

"No, thank you."

...

"Miko!"

Miko, who was distributing flyers, suddenly heard a familiar voice. She turned her head and saw a blonde girl waving at her.

Seeing the familiar person, Miko smiled and waved back at her.

This was Miko's good friend, Hana.

After Miko finished distributing the flyers in her hand, the two came to a famous dessert shop.

After Miko ordered two drinks, the two found a seat and sat down.

Miko looked at Hana, who was happily drinking her milk tea, and asked, "Hana, why are you here?"

Hearing Miko's words, Hana slurped her milk tea fiercely while staring at Miko, saying, "Of course, I came to hang out with you."

"Hmph. Why did you transfer schools without even saying anything? I only found out you transferred here after asking your aunt."

Hearing Hana's words, Miko felt a little embarrassed.

Hana put down her milk tea and continued, "But Miko, why did you transfer schools?"

Hearing this question, Miko found it hard to answer. She couldn't possibly say that she had become a Devil, which was why she came to a Devil school. If she said that, Hana would definitely think she was feverish and delusional.

But there was no good reason.

This is difficult.

Just as she was about to speak, Hana interrupted her, "Forget it. Next time, tell me if anything happens. We're good friends, after all."

Miko was a little touched. She really shouldn't have left without saying goodbye.

But then, Hana paused and continued, "As punishment for leaving without a word, Miko, you have to treat me to something delicious."

Alright, Hana is truly a glutton.

"Alright, I'll pay for today's expenses."

"Then I won't be polite."

Hearing Miko's words, Hana's eyes lit up, and she immediately called the waiter.

Soon, two cake sets were brought out.

"Let's eat together, Miko."

After speaking, Hana began to eat with a look of pure happiness.

Miko looked at the cake in front of her, smiled, and started eating as well.

"By the way, Miko, how are you doing at your new school?"

"How should I put it? It's pretty good. The senpais are very nice, and my days are very fulfilling."

The two ate and chatted.

Time passed little by little, and the sky gradually darkened.

The two sat at the bus stop, waiting for Hana's bus.

Miko looked at Hana's stomach, which showed no signs of fullness. How could this girl eat so much and not get fat? Had all the nutrients gone somewhere else?

Miko's gaze landed on Hana's chest. Then she looked down at herself and fell silent.

On that topic, it seemed her master quite liked this type, just like Grayfia and Rias.

Hana asked, "Miko, are you thinking something rude?"

Miko shook her head. "No."

Should she ask Abel to reincarnate Hana into a Devil as well? Given Hana's personality, she probably wouldn't object.

If Hana were brought in, Abel would definitely be very happy, wouldn't he?

Once this thought appeared, she couldn't shake it off.

That's it!

Miko took out the card used to summon Abel.

Seeing the white card, Hana curiously asked, "What is this? It's so beautiful."

Miko truthfully answered, "This is a card to summon a devil."

"Really? That's amazing."

"Of course it's real. You can try it when you have time."

Miko handed Abel's summoning card to Hana.

Meanwhile, on the other side.

Koneko, with everyone's support, successfully distributed all the cards.

At this moment, a white-haired young man wearing small sunglasses and carrying a dessert bag walked over. "Hello, do you still have that thing?"

Koneko looked up at the boy in front of her, whose hair color was the same as that perverted senpai, and felt a little wary.

This guy's aura was very strong. But it wasn't the aura of a Devil or an Angel, nor was it from the Fallen Angels. And he had a powerful negative energy on him but it was very well controlled.

It seemed he should be a strong individual from the human side.

But why did he want the card?

Koneko was puzzled.

Seeing that Koneko didn't answer, the young man was a little disappointed. "Are there none left? Never mind, I'll come back next time."

"Here."

Koneko searched her pocket, then gave the card engraved with a white magic circle to the young man in front of her.

That's right, this thing summons Abel.

"Great, thank you."

...

At Abel's home.

Abel, who was sitting on the sofa playing a game with Tiamat, felt a chill run down his spine. He had a feeling he would encounter something very troublesome later.

Don't scare yourself.

Then Abel continued to play the game.

At the same time, he was waiting for Asia, Miko, and Kanae to come home from work. Now it was time to let them see the world.

Abel planned to take them to deal with stray devils tonight. To be precise, this time's stray devils handling was requested by Rias.

Tonight, Rias had to return to the Underworld for a trip. It seemed she was going to protest to Sirzechs again.

So the important task of eliminating the stray devils was entrusted to him.

Time flowed by little by little.

A white magic circle appeared in the living room.

Miko, Asia, and Kanae walked out.

Abel put down the game in his hand and said, "Everyone, you've worked hard."

"It was no hardship."

The three shook their heads.

Abel clapped his hands, then said to the three, "Everyone, get some good rest. After dinner, I'll take you out to play."
