While Conrad thought about everything, two more weeks passed, and he visited Leorio again to see his progress.
After entering the house of Leorio, Leorio smiled at him, sat down, and drank his coffee.
"Show it," Conrad said, simply smirking.
Leorio nodded.
Within two seconds, from a natural ten state, Leorio entered Zetsu, and within another two seconds, he went back to ordinary ten; he did not need to close his eyes at all.
He did it all while he drank his coffee.
"Good."
"It seems like you have outdone yourself."
Leorio smiled helplessly, put his right hand back, and laughed like a kid.
"Oh..."
"Great, you think like that."
Conrad then thought for a moment and then spoke.
"Now."
"I will teach you "Ren" and how to do it."
"While Ten is your natural state while you are not actively using 'Nen,' Zetsu is the state while you use it to rest and hide your presence."
"Ren is the time when you need extra power and defense."
Leorio stopped smiling and nodded.
"When you are in a battle, how much time you can 'Ren' also depends on your aura volume, your training level, and combat capacity."
"Prolonged use of "Ren" is also called "Ken," but it is a later advanced study."
Leorio could not help but think there was more and more to this nen matter, which made him shocked and excited at the same time.
Conrad then clapped to gather his attention.
"Watch it."

Leorio nodded.

Conrad nodded.
Within less than 0.1 second, a new aura surrounding Conrad changed in an instant, and the aura spiked with power.
It felt like somebody shoveled coal into a burning furnace to power up a train even more.
The thin layer of nen turned to twenty meters of nen all around and looked spiky from outside.
Leorio felt the power and lost his balance from his seat and was about to drop on the ground, but he was able to stop himself.
"This is Ren."
"Using your mind and will to spend more aura to cover yourself with more aura increases your offensive and defensive capabilities in return for consuming more chakra."
Conrad then added.
"If you can use 2 minutes of 'Ren' without losing most of your aura and still be in the state of fighting."
"I will tell you that you passed and teach you the matter of Hatsu."
Leorio fixed his glasses and nodded.
"Ren."
"I should be able to do it."
Conrad nodded.
"Considering your talent and discipline when it comes to the study."
"I have no real reason to think that you cannot do it."
Leorio nodded and smiled.
"Thank you."
Conrad then added.
"If you want more help in terms of NEN training and making your soul easy to follow your directions"
"Focus on your purpose, purpose your hunting target, and put it in your heart to understand that your purpose and target are the reasons you are alive."
"Not the other way around."
"You are not wanting to complete your purpose to live but living to complete your purpose."
These words made Leorio enter a deep state of meditation and thought.
His eyes went blank for a moment as his face turned sad for a moment. It was clear that he was reminiscing about some past event.
Conrad closed his eyes a little and thought about Leorio and his past and what he could become with his ideals and talents.
"I always thought that Leorio was close and scared of losing Gon at the Chairman Election arc because he did not want to lose any more friends after he lost his friend to sickness."
"An ideal built on the purpose of finding people who are sick and who do not have money and treating them without wanting money is something to be respected..."
"Not to mention, in this world, it is even more rare."
"A new user builds around this belief of helping others that cannot help themselves..."
"It can be really powerful."
Conrad then just said.
"I will be back in two weeks of time again."
"I hope you are able to learn 'Ren' until then." After saying his words, he left the house and went to do his own thing, leaving Leorio alone.

After Conrad left the Leorio house, he went to the central Yorknew Area, sat down in a coffee shop, and looked at his phone for the date.
"Four months until the YourKnew Auction..."
"Four months later, Kurapika will join the Nostrade Family, and Gon and Killua will be finishing up with their training with Wing, visiting Whale Island, and discovering Greed Island."
"All of them wanted to meet up in Yorknew City, but only Leorio should have been able to meet with Gon and Killua, while Gon was trying to buy a phone for himself and was about to be swindled."
Conrad nodded.
"The Phantom Troupe arc seems to be starting."
He said, whispering as he laughed.
At that time, his phone ringed.
Conrad opened the call.
"Conrad, I am Dali."
"Oh," Conrad said.
"Dali."
"What is the reason you have called me?"
Dali laughed from the other side of the phone.
"Is it a problem to call you?"
Conrad laughed her off.
"No... Of course not; you can call me."
Dali then added.
"I want to see you about the new matter you have taught me."
"I know it became only about two to two and a half months, but I want to see you and talk to you about it."
Conrad thought for a moment.
"I am at Yorknew City, staying at Beitacle Hotel."
Dali nodded.
"Beitacle!, oh..."
"It seems like you are loaded; that place is expensive as hell."
Conrad thought about it and smiled; at this stage he was not at the point of thinking of how much a daily price for a hotel room is, no matter how luxurious the room.
"It seems like it," he said.
Dali then added.
"I will be there in the evening; you should buy me a dinner while we talk."
Before Conrad had his chance to answer, the phone was closed.
"What a weird woman." Conrad thought and nodded.
