Annabelle Linton shot him a disinterested glance and turned to leave, but when she tried to open the door, it wouldn't budge.
She frowned, twisting the handle with all her might, but the door still wouldn't open.
Leona Grant watched her, an eyebrow cocked. The corners of his lips curled into a handsome, mischievous smile. "No point in trying. It's locked from the outside. Tonight is our own private world, so don't even think about leaving."

Annabelle Linton let out a frustrated sigh. She turned back around to face him, her expression blank. "Do you find this amusing?"
"Yes. Very."
He stood up, sending beautiful roses scattering around him—a breathtaking sight. A dashing smile played on his lips. "Are you moved? I've given you a room full of surprises, myself included. How about a loving hug in return?"
Annabelle Linton stared at him, speechless.
'How about I give you a 'love-kick' instead?'
