Seeing her about to leave, Leona Grant's heart tightened. He grabbed her arm, frowning as he asked, "Where are you going?"
Annabelle Linton tried to violently shake his hand off, but he held on so tightly she couldn't break free.
She roared in frustration, "Let me go!"
"I won't let go. Why should I?"
Leona Grant tightened his grip, his own eyes stinging as he saw the anxiety in hers. He interrogated her, "Where are you going right now? To find him? I forbid it! Do you understand me? I forbid it!"
"Are you an idiot? Who I go looking for is none of your business! Let go of me!" Annabelle Linton tried to pry his fingers off one by one, but she couldn't budge them at all.
