Zhan Yi yawned and waved.
Ye Qianning exited the main hall. Outside, a light drizzle was still falling.
She paused at the entrance for a moment. Her ears twitched, and she sighed softly before heading toward the covered walkway.
After passing through two sections of the walkway, she saw the woman from Xi Yan, dressed in lake-green robes, and a Hidden Guard who had changed into the uniform of the Xiang family guards.
When the Xi Yan woman saw her approach, she stepped forward to meet her.

"Ye Qianning."
The Xi Yan woman paused, then a smile spread across her face. "Your surname is Ye? Should I call you Miss Ye or Miss Xiang, then?"
"Two days."
The Xi Yan woman was taken aback again. 'Two days?'
"It will take at least four or five days to search the entire Capital City." If she left in two days, she wouldn't be able to reach a post station, nor would she have anywhere else to hide.
