Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: Destiny Point Hunter: The Milk Cow Chronicles

After one week.

It has been a full week since Xichen obtained the core, and during this week, he has been stealing all of Jun Moxie's opportunities and humiliating him in the most extreme ways.

"Hoowah~" – Xichen yawned as he woke up completely naked, having spent a long and enjoyable night with Zhuqing and Zhuyun.

Xichen got up and went to bathe in the water basin, which was already prepared. Although the water was cold, it wasn't a problem for him. He created a ball of golden fire and tossed it into the bathtub, causing the water to boil in the blink of an eye.

"Sigh~" – Xichen sighed comfortably, as bathing in hot water was the best – "I feel alive."

"I got 5,650 Destiny Points from Jun Moxie this week," – Xichen murmured, staring at the system screen – "And he should have reached the Earth Profound Realm today. He will probably try to assassinate me, as it's obvious he has reached his limit due to the constant humiliation."

Although Xichen had been humiliating Moxie and leaving him half-dead almost every day, he would still give him some useless pills and elixirs. This caused Moxie's power to rise quickly, which allowed Xichen to get more points from him.

"I didn't expect to get this many points from him, but it seems he can't produce any more," – Xichen murmured regretfully, as it was clear he was a little sad to lose a cow that gave him milk every day – "But I am curious about what I will get from the Heavenly Treasure Chest."

Moxie only had 10 Fortune Value left yesterday. With his breakthrough to the Earth Profound Realm, it should rise to 50 Fortune Value, or even 100 Fortune Value. That would allow Xichen to get nearly 500 Destiny Points, which was very good.

"System, consume points to improve my Sword Intent to reach the Sword Soul level," – Xichen commanded as he closed his eyes and began to train his Sword Intent.

As he trained his Sword Intent, his mind became clearer. He quickly understood all the things he had difficulty with before, and the Sword Intent surrounding his body began to improve at a visible rate.

Xichen's Sword Intent had reached Great Perfection, which is the highest stage. After that comes the Sword Soul stage, which would allow him to form his own Sword Soul. This would elevate his Sword Intent to Enhanced Sword Intention, which is far superior to ordinary Sword Intent.

Although Xichen had reached Great Perfection in Sword Intent, the highest level of ordinary Sword Intent, he was still far from reaching Enhanced Sword Intention. But with the system's help, his Sword Intent quickly improved and broke through to a new level.

Upon reaching the Enhanced Sword Intention stage, a person could manifest and control it with their soul alone. They wouldn't even need a sword or anything else, as their will and soul were sufficient to use Enhanced Sword Intention, which far surpassed ordinary Sword Intent.

Suddenly, the aura surrounding Xichen began to change.

The air around him became unnaturally dense, as if space itself was bowing before the power of his will. Unseen threads of sword energy danced around his body, taking the form of transparent currents that cut through anything that approached them. With every exhale, the Sword Intent condensed further until it reached a breaking point.

BOOM!

A silent explosion occurred internally, but it left a terrifying imprint on the atmosphere around him. At that moment, Xichen found himself in a completely different place.

"Where am I..." – Xichen stared at the place around him in astonishment. He was on a giant mountain that stretched across the horizon, its height unfathomable. What was most astonishing was the presence of millions of swords embedded along the mountain.

[Ding! This is the Heavenly Sword Mountain, where sword cultivators can advance along it to improve their understanding of the Sword Path and form a Sword Soul by embedding their swords into the mountain.]

"I see..." – Xichen nodded and stared at his body, which was merely a projection of his spiritual body. He didn't find any sword in his hand, but with a single thought, his Enhanced Sword Intention condensed in his hand, forming a simple, transparent sword that radiated a sharpness capable of tearing anything around it.

Xichen stood silently on the rocky edge of the mountain. The spiritual winds that raged through the place passed through his transparent body, trying to pierce his soul with hidden knives, but they were completely torn apart before they could even approach his range.

The sword he formed from his Enhanced Sword Intention was simple in design—no engravings, no decorations, just a pure, transparent blade pulsing with pure sword aura. Yet, its power surpassed anything he had wielded before.

"Heavenly Sword Mountain, huh?" – Xichen murmured, looking at the countless swords embedded in the mountain, each one radiating a different layer of Sword Intent, as if they were remnants of the will of thousands of souls who had struggled on the path of the sword before him.

Xichen walked calmly toward the mountain's peak. The dense Sword Intent placed a heavy burden on the soul of anyone who lacked sufficient understanding or a weak will and spirit, but Xichen felt nothing. He continued walking calmly while improving his understanding of Sword Intent further as he ascended.

The mountain was full of other people's Sword Intents, which contained the crystallization of their understanding of Sword Intent. By absorbing this, Xichen was deepening his understanding of the Enhanced Sword Intention even more, which would allow him to advance further and further.

The higher Xichen climbed, the denser and more complex the surrounding Sword Intent became, until the very air was as sharp as a blade. Every breath he took could potentially sever his soul if he wasn't careful.

But instead of weakening or slowing down, Xichen became quieter and more steady. His steps were light as a feather, yet they left a clear imprint in the spiritual space around him. Sword Intent no longer just surrounded him; it pulsed from his very body, responding to the intents of other swords, challenging, observing, and absorbing.

"As I thought…" – Xichen murmured in a calm tone – "Every step on this mountain is not just a test of strength… but a test of perception."

He suddenly closed his eyes and stopped walking. This was his current limit, and he was nowhere near the mountain's peak. But he did not give up or feel discouraged. Instead, he welcomed the surrounding Sword Intent, deepening his understanding bit by bit so he could continue further.

This place was like the Asura Dreamland, where time passes very slowly so that it wouldn't affect him much.
