"How do you feel?"
Day wrings his hands together and exhales, looking up at his alpha. "Nervous. I don't know what to expect."
Travis pulls him in a hug, and immediately, Day starts to feel the anxiety ebb away, and he sighs, pressing himself further into Travis's chest.
"I am with you the whole time. And I promise, there is nothing to be worried about. All he is going to do is ask us about us. Nothing else."
They are at the front of the Sharman's house. It's a round house, the stone house designed so intrinsically that Day forgot all about the nerves when he first saw it, just to look.
It looks bigger up close, at least three stories. There is also a round pool, with two fountains at the front, hedges acting as boundaries to the pool, the flowerbeds, the small garden at the sides …
It's very atmospheric and beautiful.
Not at all what he expected when the word Sharman came up.
Travis takes his hand, and after Day reluctantly pulls away, they walk to the large front door.
