The body lay face-up in the middle of the hall.
The spacesuit covered the entire body, but it was completely unlike any space exploration suit Rover had ever seen in movies. Its size was larger, heavier, and far more complex. The silver-white outer armor was covered in scratches and burn marks, but the overall structure remained almost intact. The chest was a thick plate of armor, and the sides were fitted with several small devices of unclear purpose. On the back was a propulsion cluster along with two large mechanical components, with tubes extending from there running along the shoulders and both arms.
The helmet covered the face completely.
The visor in front was pitch black.
No one could see what was inside.
The body lay among countless metal fragments, wires, and shattered cubes. Both arms were spread slightly to the sides, as if it had fallen here a very long time ago and never stood up again. But what made Nanoe frown wasn't the armor, nor the body's size.
