At this point, Captain Corn truly considers forfeit. The difference in resources is too big. Just look at their hand, Ryuji has 5 cards in his hand while he has none! How are you even play with that?
But even though the chance of winning getting smaller each turn. Captain Corn's pride refuses to let him admit defeat, not to a rookie, especially in front of other persons.
Ryuji doesn't know what Captain Corn thinking right now and wouldn't care if he did know. "During my Standby Phase, the effect both Bagooska and Cauldron of the Old Man is activated. I detach 1 material from Bagooska and place 1 counter on Cauldron of the Old Man."

"I activate Cauldron of the Old Man effect to Inflict 900 damage to you. Then, I set 1 monster and 1 card, I end my turn."

Seeing Ryuji once again fill up his Spell/Trap Zone, Captain Corn feels a sense of despair crave into his heart. With a tremble hand, he starts his turn. "My turn, draw! I activate One Day of Peace; Each player draws 1 card, and neither player takes damage until the end of my opponent's next turn. I end my turn."
In this situation, the only thing he can do is make sure he can survive next turn, after that he can begin his counterattack.
Ryuji can see through his thoughts, smirk devious while looking at his hand. 'With this many resources, if I can't defeat you then I will let truck-kun reincarnate me a thousand times.'
"My turn, draw! This turn, Bagooska doesn't have any material left so it's destroyed!"
Seeing the obstacle making the game unhappy, everyone beside Ryuji unconsciously let out a sigh of relief. Just by watching and they're already feel pressured by the monster.

Although Ryuji can choose spell or trap card to add to his hand, but the only Time Thief spell and trap he manages to find were Time Thief Hack and Time Thief Flyback, both of them are useless for his deck so didn't add them when build the current deck.
"Now, I overlay both of my monsters to Xyz Summon Gagaga Cowboy!"

"Next, I activate the effect of Time Thief Bezel Ship; I can detach 1 material from an Xyz Monster I control; Special Summon this card from my graveyard. I detach 1 material from Gagaga Cowboy to Special Summon this card.
This turn I hasn't used my Normal Summon yet, I Normal Summon Gold Gadget, Gold Gadget effect; I Special Summon Silver Gadget from my hand. But at the same time, I chain Emergency Provisions to Gold Gadget effect; I send There Can Be Only One to the graveyard."

"Now, Gold Gadget effect resolved, I Special Summon Silver Gadget. Silver Gadget effect; I Special Summon Time Thief Regulator from my hand." Within a few seconds, Ryuji has filled his entire field with monster.
"I overlay 2 Gadgets to Xyz Summon Daigusto Emeral."

"Daigusto Emeral effect; I can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 3 monsters in my GY; shuffle all 3 into the Deck, then draw 1 card. I shuffle Gold Gadget, Silver Gadget and..." Although he doesn't say the name of the last card, everyone already knows it.
Captain Corn turns pale instantly. "No... You bastard! Don't you dare take that thing back!"
Ryuji only smirk at Captain Corn suffering. He slowly shows the last card he shuffles back into his deck 'Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir'
"NOOOOOOOO!!!" Captain Corn knee directly on the floor as if all his hope has been crushed into dust.
Ryuji doesn't spare him a glance and continue. "I overlay 2 Time Thief to Xyz Summon Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir in defense position. I set 2 cards and end my turn."
Although it's his turn, Captain Corn still kneeing on the floor like a soulless person. Everyone understands that he was undergo a breakdown, so they don't bother him.
But Ryuji is not everyone. "What happened? It's your turn so why you don't move? Could it be... No way, right? How can a great Number Hunter like our Captain Corn broke down in the duel with a newbie? He can't be such a coward, can he?"
Ryuji doesn't hold back at all, each of his innocent question was like a poison arrow firing straight at Captain Corn heart. Luckily for Captain Corn, Ryuji was in a sense, an introvert so he was not very good at trash talking, if it's Riko then he could roll on the floor and crying right now.
Captain Corn grits his teeth and stands up. "My turn, draw!"
The moment he sees the card; Captain Corn face turn darkens. 'Mirror Force, hahaha! Such a powerful trap card during Battle Phase... And the damn dog on the other side of the field has never enter the Battle Phase once during the whole duel!!'
He knows that the chance of him winning right now is extremely slim right now, the difference in LP and resources, and most importantly, Bagooska is still on the field with 2 materials. He can't attack or activate monster effect at all.
But no matter, he can't forfeit. It's his pride as a Number Hunter and as a duelist. "I set 1 card and end my turn."
"Then my turn draw, I detach 1 material from Bagooska and place 1 counter on Cauldron of the Old Man."

"Now, I activate Cauldron of the Old Man effect to Inflict 1500 damage to you."

Ryuji give Captain Corn a challenging look. "Let's end the duel this turn, I changed Bagooska to attack position."
Captain Corn eyes shine brightly at Ryuji's words. As long as Ryuji willing to enter Battle Phase, then Captain Corn can finally use his trap card. 'Come here you arrogant brat! It's time for my revenge!'
"Gagaga Cowboy effect; I can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; apply this effect, depending on this card's current battle position. Attack Position: If this card attacks an opponent's monster this turn, it gains 1000 ATK, also the opponent's monster loses 500 ATK, during the Damage Step only." Ryuji begin to explain slowly, his smile slowly turns evil as he looks at Captain Corn.
"Defense Position: Inflict 800 damage to my opponent." Gagaga Cowboy quickly draws it dual guns and fire at Captain Corn, knocking him into the ground.

Although the winner has already been decided, no one speak as they're all looking at Captain Corn, who was laying on the floor while covering his face.
'I was too naive, too naive to believe that dog will really going to fight property. Too naive to believe that he wants to win by battle.'
Seeing his state, a single though appear on everyone mind. 'This is not a duel, it's a torture.'
Ryuji slowly walk over Captain Corn as he sits up. He slowly raises two fingers and points it at Captain Corn. "Gotcha! That was a fun duel!"
Captain Corn froze; everyone froze. 'Fun? Who has fun? We have fun or you have fun?'
Captain Corn stands there, trying to keep his fist still. But after thinking of something, a smile slowly appears on his face. "Yes, that was a fun duel."
Everyone looking at him as if he's crazy. Captain Corn ignores them and continues. "I was right for choosing to have a duel with you, it was such a wonderful memory that I won't forget for the rest of my life.
But then I realized, I can't be too selfish and have to share such precious memories for others too. You haven't forgot right, Ryuji-dono? I'm not the only one want to have a duel with you."
He said the last line while pointing at Cologne and Thunder Spark. The two looking at him like a traitor.
'This damn vegetable, I will turn him into grilled corn soon enough!' Cologne and Thunder Spark though at the same time.
