After experienceing such a horrific scene,Darian wasted no time in directly heading to his next class,apart from what seemed to be a case of temporary deteriorating eyesight everything was as before,the only difference was that he was leaving with a more cautious mentality.
Although he remembered his deal with the weird figure who was responsible for bringing him back to life through transmigration,he had no idea of its full extent, so he simply treated this as his one,and only life having its own set time limit.
Meanwhile the Group of Siegfried,Yulang,and Simon hermes were fashionably late due to squabbling amongst themselves for almost an entire 15minutes,but they had finally gotten their bearings,and began heading to their next class.
When the three walked,Siegfried always walked ahead,while the other two walked on either side keeping a distance of half a metre away from him, one on the left,and the other on the right.
As they walked both,Simon ,and Yulang refused to communicate with each other due to their prior argument,but had tacitly decided to play a little game based on their collective curiosity,both of them took turns bending their knecks to sneak a glance at Siegfrieds bottom.
The half beastmans senses were sharp sensing the glances,and weird facial expressions behind him,he would try to catch the two in the act but each time,he tried to turn around they would be looking sideways.
This became a Game between,Simon ,and Yulang that they had developed over the course of months,trying their best not to get caught directly,whoever got caught first was the loser.
Eventually Siegfried grew Tired,and self conscious about this game finally having enough," Why! are the two of you looking at another man's bottom,do you guys lack any sense of self respect",Siegfried said while blushing red with embarrassment he could not believe the words that had just exited from his mouth.
Simon hermes finally broke the silence," well we were trying to find your tail,aren't you half beast folk shouldn't you have a long tail, or a fluffy ball tail or whatever the lizard folk in your beast tribes tails are called".
Yulang nodded rhythmically while folding his arms agreeing with what Simon had just said.
Siegfried tssked," the two of you should know this,it's quite rare for halflings of the beast tribe to inherit tails from their line among other things,it's one of the most common features used to distinguish a halfling from a pure blood".
Simons face contorted," oh forgive me sir for not paying attention to Beast folk biology",he said in a sarcastic tone,causing yulang to laugh.
Hearkening back to what had caused them to be so tardy Siegfried sighed," the two of you squable like children!,learn some fucking restraint!!,next time".
"Yulang Giggled,"Language language wild cat, ofcourse we would argue,How can I let this Hermes brat! continue deluding himself into believing his family is better than mine,or his skill close to my Brothers, just because he drew against me...".
"That would be a disgrace!,to the hai name".
"How many Times do I have to tell you,Myyyy Naaaame,Isssss Siiiimmmmoooon!!"," And what lies, I never said that I would beat your second brother,his a renowned genius,but if our fight had anything to say about it,then there are multiple members of my clan That would beat your brother without a doubt".
"Siegfried!! Listen to this madness!",Yulang said in a rage,"How the hell does he think he can gage my brothers strength based on my performance,Look here my brother is infinite times myself,I've never beaten him in anything,when his not holding back".
" oh is that so that sounds so pathetic are you sad",Simon said in a teasing tone," That's it the gloves are off",Yulang said in anger.
"I tried being the sensible one,but unfortunately insults,and fists are the only things in heaven a cretin like you will understand".
" I've heard of your people,you uncleanly war hungry pigs!, I heard you eat mountains of food,and there is still enough left over that you have no choice but to waste it, zero decipline,zero efficiency in Combat,no healthy diet,no finesse when eating,and worse of all zero braincells".
" huh to think you'd get so triggered enough that you start spouting out nonsense!,just because someone states the simple fact that they can beat your brother".
Yulang smiled getting close to Simons face,showing the desperity between these two,Yulang being slighly shorter than Simon.
As he pointed his fingers upwards towards Simons chin,"finally you admit it !!,You said that you could beat my brother"." Dammit I got caught",Simon said muttering inside his head," And what if I did",Simon spoke calmly,"Dont you know the Hermes family are famous for their skill in archery,and swordmanship,I could of Disected you a thousand times before you blinked,if it came to a death match".
Yulang laughed his hand gripping Simons collar," Do you think,I wanted to deliver a killing blow,if so you would be dead,my clans skills go deep as well but unlike you I'm not dumb enough to spout out my trump cards".
Simons eyes shined with the keanness of a hawk,not backing down,nor reconsidering his stance while being held by the collar.
" Here we go again,with the hai clans self-righteousness taking inspiration from the elves, thinking your better than everybody else,you even wear similar clothing styles to them with those silk robes,and hanfu dresses, so sissy like".
While Yulang was stunned by the comment Simon quickly removed the formers hand from his collar in a declaration of stubbornness, then going straight back into the fire of their verbal exchange.
After taking a breath fixing his collar Simon retorted calmly,"Ofcourse we are war hungry,after all we are a tribe of warriors,who make our livelihoods off of being warriors,and thats nothing to be ashamed of,atleast we aren't hypocrites like you pretending to be fancy royalty,and we don't waste our food we use it for compost,or the cattle, talking about us being unintelligent if you were so smart you would of won our battle,as for us having zero efficiency,that's funny cause we're known as the swift blades unlike your father who carries around a war hammer into battle".
Before Yulang,and Simon could continue their Verbal clash,Siegfried got inbetween them.
" the two of you should,know better,as long as we are here together we are each others sworn blood brothers,so whats use is there in fighting over childish insults".
In Siegfrieds mind certain thoughts came into mind.
" Its seems Yulang has been sheltered most of his life,while Simon has lived in a combative environment all his life,these two perspectives are destined to always clash,this is the way they show respect,and bond with one another,but its incredibly inefficient".
" Unless,I can link the two through more than just a shallow bond".
Yulang interjected," Sieg you have a capable brother,so you should understand my anger,is your brother not known for traveling between the beast realm,and the capital being the ambassador for both Nations,would you except such slander".
Simon laughed," I heard,your brother has attempted Multiple times to challenge the current matriarchy of the Beast tribe,and has lost atleast ,four times that sounds pathetic if you ask me".
Yulang took this opportunity to try ,and turn Siegfried against Simon," Sieg will you let him dishoner your brothers name like that".
Siegfried laughed," My brother is his own person,he can defend himself,and what he said is no lie so why should I find offense even I believe my brother despite all his good Qualities,this action of his is quite pathetic why not give up".
This style of thinking left Yulang completely dumbstruck,while Siegfried continued,"We are all here to prove a point, whether that be to rise beyond the shadows of our individual clans,or to make a name for ourselves".
"Using the tools given to us,we can grow in fame,influence,power,and glory allowing the crests of our families to be proudly displayed above our competitors".
"And the only way to accomplish that is by working together ".
"To put it simple, Im not saying the two of you should stop competing against one another,but make it productive,if we continue like this fighting amongst ourselves at every moment,what message will this send to weaker clans,what about the reputation of our clans".
"If we are to achieve anything its through friendly Competition, and knowing when to Compete,this is the stage where we prove ourselves,and gain allies".
"And it all starts with us getting to that class, instead of standing around for ten straight minutes,and arguing".
At that moment something not even Siegfried,realised happened his words deeply touched both Yulang,and Simon bringing out their inner spirits of determination, and cooperative spirits.
