Roxanne blinked.
She looked at the screen at Adriana who stood up to show off her body and sat back down— those wide dark eyes, full lips, the visible collarbone and the generous curves the camera struggled to contain.
Adriana's body was the kind that turned heads and caused accidents.
"Adriana. You are — as someone who spent a decade hating you and therefore has I zero reason to flatter you — devastatingly attractive. If your husband can't see that, the man needs an eye doctor, not a wife."

...Adriana's face went through a whole journey — suspicion, checking if it was real, then a bright, delighted grin breaking across her face like sunshine after rain.
"I knew I liked you for a reason, Roxanne." She pointed at the camera. "Don't make me regret welcoming you to the team."
