Chapter 447 - Chapter 782: Energy

Seeing this, Pakura let out a slight sigh of relief, then waved her hand hard.

The sealing squad members who had already been waiting immediately moved. They quickly stepped forward and slowly pulled apart the remaining cloth wraps covering the outside together.

When the cloth was completely opened, Rasa was covered in blood. The sight was terrible.

It turned out that the sand and cloth wrapped around him had fused tightly with his flesh under the high heat.

Now that they were forcibly torn away, large chunks of skin and flesh were ripped off with them. The severity of the injuries was hard to imagine.

Even worse, after being roasted by flames for so long, large areas of Rasa's flesh had already been badly charred and turned black.

Fresh blood kept pouring out from the wounds like a flood after a dam burst, quickly spreading across the ground and turning the surrounding area into a dark red pool of blood. A heavy smell of blood filled the air.

Even though she hated Rasa to the bone, Pakura knew keeping him alive was extremely important right now.

So she ordered, "Don't let him die."

Hearing the order, Maki immediately nodded.

"Yes, Sensei!"

As she spoke, she pulled out a precious bottle of medicinal powder from her clothes and rushed over to Rasa.

Without holding back at all, she scattered all the powder onto the nearly roasted human body.

The moment the powder touched the wounds, a faint white glow appeared as the medicine began working, trying to stop the rushing blood.

After finishing, Maki did not dare waste even a moment. Her hands moved rapidly, and the cloth wraps around her body spun like living snakes.

In the blink of an eye, the cloth flew into the air and tightly wrapped Rasa from head to toe again, turning him back into a round rice dumpling.

"Sensei, this is all we can do for now. Shukaku always recovered before, but Rasa's injuries are too severe this time."

"I'm not sure he can survive it."

Pakura gritted her teeth as she looked at Rasa and snorted.

"If he dies, then so be it. We'll hand the corpse over to Konoha."

"Konoha clearly wants something big this time. Even if we hand over a living Rasa, there's no guarantee this matter will end there."

"This idiot really caused us huge trouble."

Maki hesitated before asking, "Rasa said he was controlled by Obito. Is that possible?"

Pakura let out a breath, "It doesn't matter anymore. We need to hand Rasa over before Konoha has time to send troops."

"Bring Takafumi's body too. We're heading back first. Konoha could attack at any time."

[Ancor Vantian]

The blue Susanoo lifted a stone statue, grabbed the three-meter-tall figure, and threw it into the distance.

The statue flew beyond the range of Ancor Vantian and dropped straight down.

But the place was too high. There was no way to hear it hit the ground.

He looked at the stone pillar beside him, pulled with one hand, and formed a Yasaka Magatama.

Then he directly threw it over.

With a loud boom, the stone pillar snapped apart.

Obito canceled the Susanoo and sat down on the much emptier platform to rest.

During this period, he had already cleared out quite a lot of space inside the flying fortress.

Its overall weight had been reduced by one-fifth, and the energy consumption had also dropped.

Recently, he had been using Susanoo as manual labor while also training himself to get used to it.

After this period of practice, Obito discovered that his Susanoo was not particularly strong.

It could only be used as support during battle.

Because after obtaining both Kamui eyes, his speed entering and leaving the Kamui space became extremely fast.

He had no real need for Susanoo anymore.

But what surprised him was that the other Kamui eye turned out to possess an offensive dojutsu, and it was the rare space-type ability.

He stared at a stone arch pillar nearby that was about to be dismantled.

As pupil power surged, he activated the dojutsu unique to his left eye.

"Kamui!"

A vortex immediately appeared on the stone pillar.

Crack!

A crisp sound rang out from the pillar. A basketball-sized hole had clearly appeared on it, and the edges of the cut were smooth without the slightest roughness.

It was completely different from the nearby pillar blown apart by the Yasaka Magatama.

A trace of satisfaction appeared in Obito's eyes. A vortex appeared around his body as he entered the Kamui space.

After a while, he appeared in the same spot again, except this time he was holding a basketball-sized stone.

Looking closely, it was exactly the piece cut off from the pillar earlier.

His Kamui was also connected to the Kamui space.

And he could send objects inside without touching them himself.

The edge of the vortex was extremely sharp. No one could withstand the damage from space-time cutting.

At that moment, he suddenly felt a heaviness from beneath him. The height of Ancor Vantian was slowly decreasing.

Obito frowned and quickly arrived at the prison area.

Then he discovered that more than ten of the remaining Sky Ninja survivors providing energy had been drained to death again.

The people left now could no longer provide enough energy to keep the flying fortress suspended.

Obito quickly arrived at the main control room.

He sat down on the tall stone chair.

As he took his seat, an ugly and disgusting Zero-Tails appeared behind him.

The Zero-Tails opened its mouth wide and released a sharp screech.

Gray waves spread out continuously through the room.

Obito took a deep breath and actively connected to the waves.

In an instant, countless painful memories surged through his mind.

When he was young, he was weak and had not awakened his eyes, so the clan disliked him. In class, he fought with Might Guy over being dead last, and after graduation, he was still the one dragging everyone down.

He always liked Rin, but Rin only had eyes for Kakashi.

In the end, he finally awakened the Sharingan, but not long after came the Kannabi Bridge battle.

After saving the two of them and giving his Sharingan to Kakashi, he thought he was definitely going to die.

But unexpectedly, Uchiha Madara saved him.

Yet when Madara saved him, he already has negative impression of him.

His entire life was completely rewritten because of it.

Madara had been deceived by Black Zetsu into learning about the Eye of the Moon Plan, and then manipulated Obito's life to complete it.

His life should never have turned out like this.

Hatred surged in Obito's eyes as the power of his heart transformed into dark chakra.

It spread from the stone seat into the flying fortress beneath him.

Ancor Vantian quickly stopped descending.

It began floating steadily in the air again.

"Urgh!"

Obito let out a painful groan as the Zero-Tails slowly disappeared behind him.

Although a person's mental power normally goes unused, it is not unlimited.

After all, whether someone experiences extreme joy, grief, or rage, their body still suffers afterward. The Zero-Tails merely turns that mental power into something usable.

Obito had not fully recovered recently, and now he was pushing himself even harder. He only felt dizzy and lightheaded.

'Looks like I need to find an energy source for Ancor Vantian.'

After resting for a while, Obito also realized that relying on himself alone was not enough to operate this flying fortress.

After thinking slightly, the easiest option right now was undoubtedly Rasa, the One-Tail jinchuriki.

'Hm? Why is he heading in that direction?'

Obito had placed a mark on him using dojutsu and dark chakra.

Now he discovered that Rasa was actually heading toward Sunagakure.

'How naive. Does he think Sunagakure can still accept him after attacking Konoha?'

'Looks like he'd be more useful coming here to serve as Ancor Vantian's energy source.'

Having made up his mind, Obito's figure quickly entered the Kamui space.

As for the flying fortress, its current energy was enough to keep it floating for another five days, more than enough time for a round trip.
