The start of the exam
In the morning ed was waking up jihgen in his room.
" hey Jihgen wake up..!!"
Jihgen waking up he Said while asleep
" why are you shouting like that…"
" get ready today is the selection day man..!"
Jihgen jump out "wait.. what..!?"
lan Sigh " he is in his world as usual…"
Ed agreed "yes…"
Jihgen said "you two are making me feel like I am useless and careless..!"
Ed and lan look at jihgen and jihgen look at ed and lan.
Ed look at jihgen "so you are agreeing that you are useless and careless."
lan nodded while agreeing to ed .
Jihgen get little embarass "talking with you is useless..!"
And he leaves in bathroom to take bath.
Ed look at jihgen who goes in bathroom
"another, rare sight Jihgen is start to going to bathroom without forcing him into bathroom."
And then ed and laugh at it and have a high five.
Jihgen shouted From the bathroom
"both of you…!"
" oops sorry.."
Ed teased jihgen and then he start to laugh again but then jihgen come after bath and try to hit ed but ed dough it .
" ha..!, you can't hit me..!"
Jihgen shouted while punching in air " you..! Stop teasing me..!"
But then lan come and hit jihgen by back of his head
" You..! Wear some decent clothes..!"
Jihgen try to say something but he looks at lan scary face.
" What with his face..!" Jihgen thought while looking at lan and swallowing.
And then after all this ed and other start to leave.
As they open the door they saw cap was standing.
"what..!?" ed stand there in state of confusion.
lan come forward " erm.. what happened..?" And he saw cap
Jihgen also peak and said "oh..congrats, your brother has returned..!
"yeah…" ed said with sightly confused voice.
"he was taking a while to come over here? So how..?" ed thought in his mind.
But then they where low on time for reunion so they start to go to the classroom.
But then ed was grabbed by his collar
And he felt something Cold like sprinkle of water.
He turned toward cap
" what are you doing jo ..?"
He called cap as jo which is cap Alas name.
" Erm..I not jo "
Ed look at him weirdly "are you serious..?" Person who looks like jo ( cap ) nodded.
Ed eyes twitch " so who are you then..?"
That's jo (cap ) like person said with clam face
"I am cap clone made by mr ich that why you feeling little cold because I made by holy river water."
And then ed realised that his collar is little soaked .
"He is telling truth…" ed thought.
That's clone continued" today I will be coming in place of jo."
Ed was not feeling well not because he is sick but how clone was behaving too good too ideal.
" Totally opposite to reality.."
Clone glaze turned up " did you said something..?"
" Ahem.. nothing let's go both of them are waiting there thinking we are taking something important." Ed secretly point out.
That clone nodded and they go to classroom.
The air was little more serious than usual it was kind of obvious .
Ed and other go to there usual place.
After seating on his seat ed reminded himself
" I am going to choose medilman department…"
Then ed remember what happened someday before.
The some day before also the day after when ed got access to luse magic ed actually came to meet mr ich.
Although mr ich did said ed to meet him he was pre occupied.
So mr ich told ed to come to tree house in midnight silently when everyone will be sleeping.
Ed at time didn't argue he leaves with a simple "okay."
And on that day ed was studying all night.
When both jihgen and lan was sleeping ed leave with silent steps.
After it he reached to tree house.
And mr ich was seating in front of a bonfire eating some Marshmallow dipped in chocolate.
When ed saw that he twitched his eyes
"he is really a sweetthooth..!"
Mr ich notice ed standing there while he was chewing marshmallow " hum..? What are you looking at..?"
Ed denied and come and seat on other side of bonfire " so what's you want to tell now..?" Ed asked with little arrogance.
"Hey don't get too arrogant if I am silent here "
Mr ich pull marshmallow by his teeth" don't think I am a sweetthooth.."
Ed swallowed by looking at mr ich.
" Whatever" Mr ich get clam "I was told by cap that you have order to must join medilman department."
Ed found himself dumbfounded "erm..I was "
Mr ich look change " oh..so it better..!"
Ed start to eat his teeth "that cap really think I am dumb!"
Mr ich point his stick at which marshmallow was " you are" and he start to laugh
" Hey don't tease me like that both of you are rat..!" Ed was frustrated.
Coming back to present time raj entered in classroom
"so class today is the day were you will start your real training but.."
"I really don't like when he say but, he always drop nuke after "but " ed was sweating water.
"the department you are choosing now, and I well give you paper too.. But I don't give you guarantee that you will go on the Same department that you will choose."
Ed fell blank" what!?, that why cap what telling..?"
Raj countinued "see each department had it's own trade so they need the people who can really fit in there ideology and way of working.
So technically they are choosing you by seeing yout talent than your choice."
And then raj take his black briefcase and open it and take out paper.
And then he said with smile
" I don't care that if you chose something out of your capacity. Because either way you are going to the right place Anyways.."
"he literally taking everything as joke..!!!" Ed was in Deep confusion in his thought.
Raj notice that ed giving very unpleasant expression but he decided to ignore it and move to distribute paperwork.
When paper came in lan hand he thought
"So time had come."
And after filling The paper they all submitted it to the Raj and start to leave
" I think we have to study hard…" ed was frustrated a bit.
lan agreed with a "yeah."
And on other side jihgen was shaking and trembling in fear.
Then lan and ed remember that jihgen is not that good with study.
Ed said in hesitanting 'what is wrong with you?" And he looks at jihgen.
" don't worry I will teach you and if you don't get it you will at least get pass in writing." lan try to clam jihgen
" yeah, nor he will definitely fail."
Jihgen look at jihgen "hey speak positive!"
Ed explain "see I believe in negative because negative + negative = positive."
lan said to ed "don't demotivate him."
Ed make a disappointed face "you are soft lan."
When ed said that lan face start to look little down "that what everyone say to me."
Ed notice that sudden change on lan face "Hmm..something is off about him suddenly…"
But jihgen notice something else that jo is missing.
" What happened to jo where he is ?"
"hu.. !?" Ed look around and clone was not in sight.
So he started to make a excuse
" Oh…he actually he is not here because he fall sick so now he is taking about going back."
" Oh.. very bad I think he is not that strong."
" Yhea.." ed replied but in mind..
" He is strong as hell..!"
" That's really weird isn't it..?"jihgen talked while looking at Window.
But ed was in different thought "why I always end up in this kind of situation because of him..!"
After that they reached to the rooms and ed go and slam himself in the bed.
" I am going to sleep."
Jihgen get triggered by this
"now…! who is careless here now..!!" And he pointed out his finger at ed .
Ed grab his finger " shut up..!, and don't yell at me..! I am trying to sleep here."
lan come in there interaction " let him what he wants Jihgen."
Jihgen look at lan "but…"
And he saw menaceing look of lan
And he started to act all good
" Oh.. it's okay it alright to sleep" and he put blanket over ed " have a good no great sleep."
And then jihgen and lan open book and start studying.
In next morning ed wake up go to bathroom come back and leave without saying anything.
" were he is going?" Jihgen look at lan
lan was focused on his book
" let him do whatever he want."
" what, but..!"
lan explain "it is his duty to study and also he is responsible for the consequences."
And then it all repeat next day ed wake up go take bath come and leave and again come and sleep.
Jihgen put his book aside and look at ed
" is he really serious about the exam..!?"
lan stand " I don't care about that you should care about yourself more." and then he go towards door "I am going to eat something so if you want you can come with me."
Jihgen ignoring ed "yeah"
And then they go and eat.
And then come back and sleep.
Ed wake up to do something in night when both jihgen and lan where in Deep sleep.
And then he also sleep before sun come.
And this kind of routine continue for a week where ed leave room come in evening and don't study a bit and it countinue until the day of exam came.
And jihgen was paincking
"ah..!?, I still have lot of things to review and revise."
Ed woke up by jihgen noise and start yelling
"why are you yelling at early morning…!"
Jihgen snap out "you don't have to Right to talk !, you didn't even studied..!."
lan clam him "don't panic."
Jihgen yell while looking at lan "yes after all I
am going to fail..!"
And then ed and lan ignore him and get ready although ed don't go to Take a bath since it was late.
Ed look at anxious jihgen
" let's go, nothing well happen by panicking."
lan also agree "yes."
Jihgen closed the book and start to leave dramatically
"you are right I am ready to die. Anyway."
Ed look at lan
" Erm..why did he looked like that..?"
"it because of your negativity." lan replied while looking at ed eyes.
Ed look away in hesitating "yeah, I agreeing on that."
lan Sigh and look at jihgen who was standing infront of door with dramatic face
"what are you looking at let go..!"
And then they go to the exam hall on the way jihgen was sawting.
He started to sewt More and more as he reached.
But then jihgen clam himself and seated in exam hall.
Then raj come and distributed exam paper.
And when jihgen start looking at exam paper he realize something.
'I don't know a single thing...!!"

Ed notice his restlessness and thought

After exam ed,lan and jihgen meet and jihgen wasn't look great.

Jihgen put down his hands on lan shoulder and start crying and sobing like kid
" I am going to fail..!!"
Ed wishperd in lan ear "he is behaving weird."

Jihgen countinue to cry
" hey you don't ignore me…"
Ed try to show some sympathy " don't worry I also didn't studied so if you fall you will be not alone."

Ed replied with a smile " yes. And also you have to take your revenge too."
and after hearing this Jihgen go back into his usual energetic self
"why you do that?" lan asked while looking at ed
Ed chukle a little "you want me to motivate him so I do that, you can take this as my apology."
lan lugh"Ha.."
Ed look at lan "what?"
Lan answered "nothing."
But then jihgen with energetic voice shouted
"let's goooo..!"
Ed come near him and asked" where..?"
Jihgen smile in his confidence
"to cantin I am going to treat you."
Ed look at jihgen "now you got some money."
"wait, I am not broke man." jihgen said
and lan, Ed and Jihgen look at each other and start laughing .
And then they go to cantin
" coffee as usual."

Ed and lan smaittenously "yes man..!"
After having a great time in cantin they go back to the drom room
"today was really good." Ed look at lan and jihgen.
lan noded
Jihgen Sigh "except for exam."
Ed and lan ignore him
Jihgen grew little confused "why, are you ignoring me now?"
Ed look at jihgen pointing "see exam is thing that was thing you were scared of and that why I gave you that motivation."
Jihgen feel little embarass "yeah.."
"so forgot it."
lan also agreed with ed .
And then they all go to sleep.
For like a week they were doing nothing ed just oftenly leave without telling anything. lan just Read books on different topics.
And talking about jihgen he just relax and sleep all the time only waking up for food or for little walk.
After the time period of one week the result was out.
In early morning ed and lan pull the jihgen to there.
Jihgen wasn't confident at himself .
When they go to check

"Ed..!"
Ed notice that and look at the jihgen who was not in good mood.
Ed was not able to say anything out of his mouth because jihgen Strom on him and start to slamming ed on wall while yelling
" you traitor..!!! , you were saying that you didn't study and you rank 4th..!? how this Evan possible…!!!?"
Jihgen was out of his mind so lan come to aid ed .
" calm yourself Jihgen."
And then ed stand up on his foot
" sorry friend I studied when you were sleeping. You forgot that I am a boy ha.!!!"
But ed forget to mention someone who also helped him.
"Arugh…what was that feeling?" Mr ich thought while he was in his room.
Comeing back to ed and jihgen Lora bakerson entered in scene in her attitude
" how useless you are" and laugh at Jihgen
Jihgen don't stand clam after getting humiliated
He throw ed matter in side and come near lora face
"don't forget that our real battle Is in the battleground here you win but there you gonna make sure you to lick the ground. And Mark my word."
"Pftt
.." she sightly laugh and take here leave looking at Jihgen "really..?" She looks at jihgen.
"we well see that soon."
And she leaves while looking down at jihgen.
Ed come near to jihgen
"you have to clam down Jihgen."
Jihgen thight his fist "I know that."
And then they leave.
On other hand a man in techer uniform was watching from the shadow of hallway he muttered under his breath
" Thankfully they didn't get into fight..it whould be a pain.."
And then that man leave.
