Alright, A friend of mine on discord asked me about If Klein's Avatars are independent or just his personas. Here is the explanation of why I consider Klein's avatars to be independent but also at the same time not.
In Chapter 5, during Klein's plan to convince both Roselle and Amanises, he created a dream world. Since he did not know much about the Second Epoch in the LotM verse, he just copied the events from a fanfic he read about that era. (Aka Slug of Time lel.)
So in the dream world, Gehrman and Dwayne are completely separate people rather than just his personas.
Gehrman is someone he saved from the sea.
Dwayne was a vampire thrall serving the vampires in the Second Epoch.
Merlin is the only one who is his actual persona.
The dream world also created a false Historical Void that Klein turned into a subsidiary of the real world one. That is why when anyone mentions the dream Amanises Morgan alias, it registers with the real one.
In chapter 10, when Amanises says they had been grafted with living characteristics, by that I meant they have history in the Historical Void and fate in the River of Fate. If they die, an imprint would be left in the River of Eternal Darkness.
Klein achieved this through his control over the Sefirah castle. He holds the partial symbolism of the Beacon of Destiny, which helps him influence the River of Fate. Since CW accommodated the RoED, Klein can influence that too through Sefirah Castle, even if only a tiny bit.
So within the verse, everything points to them being separate existences from Klein. However, with our meta perspective, we can see the difference and understand Klein is just a lying bastard.
Did I convey that correctly?
Also, since we got into this, I will tell you the goal of the story and what inspired me to write it.
YISUN is the creator God of the Kill Six Billion Demons verse. His quote actually inspired the MC.
"Let there be no Genesis, for beginnings are false and I am a consummate liar."
A consummate liar means a perfect liar. This kind of liar lies so perfectly they believe their own lies, ultimately making them come true.
So the goal of this story is to create a perfect, beautiful lie that everyone considers true.
If a image would explain this Klein to a T. It would be this.
