Pentos, 290 AC, the fourth moon of the year
- POV: Lord Varys
"I assume the plan didn't work." I said to him as he tries to get up from his bed and falls to do so as I push him down to his bed as he speaks.
"Ahaha, no, it didn't work, my friend. The man came at me like a wild beast. Look at me; he destroyed my whole face." He said as he groaned in pain.
"Indeed, he has destroyed your face." I said to him as I looked at his face closely; his left eye was probably gone, and several of his teeth were missing.
"The moment I proposed the marriage between Aegon and Rhaenys, I found myself beneath his fists. He was shouting about how I would dare to even be asking him to marry his Rhaenys to a Blackfyre and how he would be skinning him alive." He said as I snapped my head sharply at him at the mention of Aegon's true identity.
"How?" I asked in shock as he remained silent, so I asked him again sharply this time.
"How?! Gods dammit, how! Even Aegon himself doesn't know that how?!" I asked angrily at him as he spoke.
"I don't know! He likely had suspected something before he met me, and he was way too hostile towards me for no reason, and your information was lacking." He said to my confusion. What does he mean by that?
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"He said that he owns every inn in Volantis and that I had invited him to his own inn." He explained, to my shock, how much the nobility of Volantis supports him to allow him to own hundreds of inns in their own city.
"We should double Aegon's guards just in case he does something and tell Jon to cha..." I was instructing him as he interrupted me.
"No need for that; I have already instructed them to do it. We need a plan, a good plan, to eliminate him before he gets any more powerful than he is now, or our plans will be nothing more than horseshit." He said, As I tried to think of a plan, wait, horse?
"Illyrio I remember you mentioning that you were going to meet Khal Drogo to give him the goods to leave Pentos alone." I said to him as he nodded with confusion.
"Yes, I am to represent Pentos in bribing the horse lord to leave Pentos alone in a moon's time." He said in a confused tone
"Tell me, was he not the one who declared that his son will be the Stallion who Mounts the world?" I asked him as a plan formed in my mind.
"Why yes, he is looking for a wife who shall bear his child at the moment." He confirmed as his one good eye widened in realization.
"Good, then when you meet the Khall, you shall tell him that inside the black walls of Volantis there are the descendants of the dragons, and they are the ones that he needs in order to father the Stallion Who Mounts the World and tell him that they two daughters of a real dragon with them ." I instructed him as he nodded quickly and flinching at the pain it brought.

- POV Visenya Targaryen
"Brother, can I ask you a question?" I asked him as he and Rhaenys were reading a book together about the history of the great houses of Westeros.
"You just did, sweetling, but go on; ask another question," he said as he gave the book to Rhaenys.
"Do you want the Iron Throne?" I asked him as he frowned at my question, and Rhaenys looked at him with a curious smile as he questioned.
"Why do you want to know whether I want it or not?" He questioned with a kind smile as I struggled to give him a good response.
"I mean, Ray said that the throne is made out of swords and it's uncomfortable to sit on and it's sharp and cuts. She said that our father cut himself many times on it." I answered him as he nodded and, after a moment, began to speak.
"Do I want the throne?" He said to himself, and after a few seconds he spoke.
"No, I do not want it," he said with a smile as I questioned him again with a confused expression.
"So why would you fight for it if you don't want it? Do people not fight for the things that they want?" I ask him as he looks at Rhaenys with a smile as he speaks.
"We are not people, little one; we are dragons, and dragons don't like their things being taken away from them. When we lose something we don't care for and don't fight for it, then we lose the things we care for to. That's why I am fighting for the throne even though I don't care for it. Do you have any more questions?" He questions as I shake my head at it.
"Good little one, then remember we are dragons, and Dragons remain together, always and forever." He says as I nod at him as he resumes reading the book he was reading with Rhaenys.
"Always and forever." I whispered those words to myself as I picked a book and started to read it.
