The third day of the joint learning session began just as smoothly as the previous two.
By now, the entire volunteer team had settled into an efficient routine. Some groups headed into the forest to gather food that could be preserved for winter, others made or tended the drying racks where strips of meat and fish swayed gently in the cool breeze, while the newer learners practiced making clay pots under the watchful eyes of Mira.
The Wolf Tribe itself no longer looked like the quiet settlement Aurora had first arrived at. It had become a lively place filled with people from different tribes working side by side, exchanging skills and stories instead of suspicion. Aurora couldn't help feeling proud every time she looked around.
She was in the middle of teaching a small group how to identify edible herbs that could be dried for winter storage when the distant howl of a Wolf Tribe sentry echoed across the valley.
"Guests approaching!"
